Bouchon at The Venetian Ratings and Reviews
Outstanding in every way! Best breakfast ever! Steak was tender and perfectly prepared. Homemade melt in your mouth potato croquettes, croissants of all kinds, homemade jam, hot baguettes.
I could go on...we ate here three times and loved everything we ordered!
Bouchon is located upstairs at the Venician Hotel and offers huge open bistro style married with over the top Vegas scale in a beautiful setting.
The food is incredible and unique but offering many classic bistro favorites with unique twists that are a hallmark of Keller and his team.
The menu offered some good values and an excellent price fix option, and good wines at decent prices.
The service was spotty as the waiter missed one appetizer order and brain ramped another of our foursomes entree item.
Loved the place and the quality. Maybe the waiter could write it down next time.
As usual, Bouchon doesn't disappoint. Normally during our visit we go for Sunday Brunch and it is outstanding, but this year we went for dinner. The food was fabulous, but really the star was our waiter. He was not only helpful with the menu and answering our questions, but recommended some cocktails that were outstanding. A great visit and we look forward to returning.
Went here twice. The bread is outstanding and we ate too much of it! Dover sole and salmon were done medium and the preparations were perfect. My husband had the rib eye twice it was so good. Wine list is expensive but excellent and there are wines I wouldn't buy but loved one glass. Not cheap but on par with other Las Vegas restaurants. Better than Picasso. Wait staff attentive and friendly
Everything was amazing until I got up to leave and the chair lodged a splinter in my thumb. For such an amazing experience all the way around, food, service, the staff was incredible... and then to be taken out by a cheap chair right at the end. Ugh. Please invest in upgrading the seating.
I’ve dined at several Thomas Keller properties and am never disappointed. What this location had ~ that others have lacked with the exception of French Laundry- was an uber engaged waiter. I forget his name, but he was middle aged, bald and the BEST waiter ever. Made excellent suggestions. Talked us out of ordering too much, but made the perfect suggestions for wine and sides.
The food, of course, was AMAZING!
Fabulous food and service. This is the third time I have returned to Bouchon...always for breakfast. I'm sure the other meals are great too but the breakfast is so good I cant bring myself to go another time. Our waiter was great fun and the food exquisite. Every dish was a picture of perfection.
I’ve had brunch here before and loved it. I decided to bring any friend who idiolaizes Thomas Keller to dinner for his birthday. The service wasn’t great, and my friend had to send back his steak. My lamb was delicious and shared it with him. I asked on my reservation to have the message “happy 28th birthday Bryce” on the dessert plate, but it was brought out by a runner with a lit candle and the server showed up in a hurry a few minutes later and that’s when he said happy birthday. If I come back it will be for brunch.
Always a great experience. Dinner with a group or solo lunch at the bar, food and ambiance are consistently rewarding. Although the entre choices are varied and very good, you get the best Bouchon experience from the raw bar with a glass of recommended wine. It can get crowded but advance reservations have not been a problem. In Las Vegas, our group experiments with different places each year but we always include Bouchon.
We were in Las Vegas for 4 nights and this was my favorite restaurant for dinner. We experienced French Laundry a few months ago and figured we would try Bouchon, as well. It did not disappoint! Highly recommend. The French onion soup, mussels, steak.....were all very good. Our waiter was very personable.
Food was great, but the service and seating left a lot to be desired. We were seated at a small table outside, directly at the top of a stairway to a lower level garden. People kept walking past (closely to our table) to reach that garden level. The stairway was actually blocked off, but it didn't help. We finally had to ask to be moved to a different table. Enjoyed the meal, but restaurant was not crowded. This should not have happened.
A group of us were gathering in Las Vegas for a reunion. We'd picked Bouchon because of its reputation. Our reservation was for 9:30pm on a Friday night. Did not really need it as it was empty, but that was okay. Because it was empty (there were only 2-3 other parties dining), I thought we'd get the typical Thomas Keller restaurant, great service. Sadly this was not the case. Our waiter took a while to take our order and then did not get all of it right. Someone got coffee vs. tea, two orders of one item and none of another. It took a long while to flag down the waiter to get our bill. He was lovely, but busy chatting with a couple sitting on the other side of the dining room. We had a much better experience at Hexx at the Paris. Same type of food, great service and no mistakes.
