Class operation. I would expect anything less from Tom Keller and staff. Great meal, great service and would definitely go there again.
Good overall! Service was OK but not above average for type of classy restaurant. Will return. Thanks!
4 out 5 courses were very salty. A little disappointed in the foods..
Amazing food, very attentive staff!
Great place to have a nice brunch which is not a buffet but ala cart. Thxs
Fabulous food and service
Food definitely lives up to a Tom Keller restaurant. The décor also truly feels French. Overall, a wonderful night!
Food was disappointing. Steak was very chewy and tased gamey. Nice atmosphere and good service, but don’t expect great food.
Service was disappointing. My appetizer was brought out at least ten minutes before my companion’s. When we asked about his, the waiter snapped that it wasn’t ready yet. We had to ask for the promised complimentary bread. The main courses were brought out while I was still eating my appetizer, and the waiter snapped again when I told him I wasn’t finished. A real pity, since the food was exquisite.
I have dined at Bouchon in the past (and many times at the one in NYC and Yountville, CA) and have had MUCH better experiences. My friend and I came for lunch and ordered a Cobb salad to split plus French Onion soup, pretty simple. The chicken in the salad was so tasteless and dry, it was inedible. Yes, it was so bad I am taking the time to complain about chicken. I didn't eat but 2 bites of it and there was quite a bit left on my plate and when I said (very politely) to our server that she might want to mention it to the kitchen...she just said, "hmmm" and still charged us for it! In my experience, anytime something was literally inedible the server has insisted that we not be charged. Not this time....which brings me to the service...look, I get it, it's Vegas. Not a restaurant destination known for great service but seriously, it was bad. She took almost 15 minutes to bring out beverages (it was not crowded in the least), my friend had to ask for her ice tea 3 times and she never came back to check on how our meal was or to see if we wanted another glass of wine. She was standing around talking to the other servers but ignored us. It's a bummer. In a sea of mediocre restaurants in Vegas, I looked forward to having Bouchon as my go to, "get a dependable, decent meal" place. I understand that it might not be as good as the original but it has been much better in the past.
Service is great as expected, however the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. Yountville’s location still really up to par, expected the same this visit, was a little disappointed.
Great food and attentive service
This was our 4th time eating at Bouchon
We were rushed to order
Table was uneven and they couldn’t fix it or offered to move us
Food was way too salty
Was very disappointed this time and probably won’t return
Brasserie style restaurant, Bouchon is enjoyable. The food wants to be by the name on the menu French but it has been Americanized. It is still a fun environment with great service, wine and decor.
We went to Bouchon for an early dinner. Ambiance was lovely, decor was beautiful Italian/French cafe, and overall had a welcoming, unpretentious and comfortable feel free o it. The wait staff was very attentive, friendly and professional - made you feel special throughout. The food was tasty. To start French bread (buns) were brought out with pistachios on the side. Beautiful presentation and a great start. The celery root soup was absolutely delicious. The French onion soup was good but lacked a little flavour. The roasted chicken was quite enjoyable but not over the top. The ham and cheese sandwich with eggs was quite delicious and filling. Delicious creme brûlée was brought out as a surprise by our waiter to celebrate a birthday. Definitely would visit again - would love to try the mussels next time (didn’t go with soup this time around) as well as breakfast. Overall, a wonderful dinner.
Awesome food, awesome waiter. Best duck confit I’ve ever had. Wine somm was great.
The menu really doesn't showcase fine cooking skills; steak, lamb, mussels, etc., were plain and lacking in flavor. Very disappointed by the mussels, which were tender but lackluster. Not a great value for the exorbitant cost.
Cheese plate was excellent. The both specials were fantastic. Cocktail were solid as well. An all around great dining experience.
The food was fair at best. I sent my steak frites back to the kitchen twice. I ordered it medium rare came out twice well done. My husband was finished with his meal , which was the lamb shanks that he loved, when mine arrived correctly. Our waiter was amazing! Had it not been for him the dining experience would have been horrible.
With so many wonderful places to eat here not sure if I would try it again.
The chicken was the best I have had in my life.
The lamb was great and the sea bass also spectacular! Thanks
My wife and I found it to be exceptionaland. The food and service were amazing.
The service was not there. Timing of bring food out was off, my wife's appetizer came, then mine came with her main course and my main course after all that. Way better service in Yountville...
Thought it would taste better
The waiter was very friendly, staff was attentive and food came really quick. The steak & frites was great & the creme brulee was out of this world!
We had breakfast. The bread was burnt, and the waiter said nothing. The waiter “misheard” my order, even when I pointed to the special on the wall, and clearly said what I was ordering. Not a good value for the cost. We had much better breakfasts at the Grand Lux Cafe and Le Creperia in the Paris hotel. Definitely will not revisit.
It's a Thomas Keller restaurant - always good food and ambiance
Absolutely fabulous food and service. We are repeat customers and the consistency is reliable. You won't be disappointed. The chef went over and above with preparing my meal exactly how I asked.
Great service. We had some late changes in the size of our party, and they handled it seamlessly.
Excellent all around! amazing food and service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great food and atmosphere!! Feels like you are in France!
First visit was superb. Second visit--still good, but nopt as good as the first. Good food, service okay, but not exceptional. Nice ambiance. Fairly priced.
Top notch food. Pasta with truffles was over the top. Love the table bread, of course. Nice cheese selection, marinated olives, and escargot. The best free range chicken. Everything I have ever tried here is five star. The service was good, but our waiter seemed a bit uncertain and nervous, and the busboy served the bread without any bread plates. We thought it was a thing, and rolled with it. :-). The one criticism is that our section had a TV screen that was on a sports channel. Not what you expect in a fine dining scene. We were not in a sports bar, we were paying top dollar for the Saturday night dinner, we were a table of women with another table of women next to us, and it wasn’t like the Super Bowl was on. Turn the TV OFF, unless there is private party in that whole section that wants it ON. Kinda spoiled the atmosphere. Just sayin’
Over all nice . Had the short rib before it’s was excellent this time around was kinda disappointing. Other people in my party had a good experience with the food . But that doesn’t mean I won’t go there again . People have off days .
Wonderful restaurant for every occasion !!!
Enjoyed brunch at Bouchon...food and service was very good.
Mother’s birthday brunch. It was great food with great service!
My fave bean soup was lukewarm and my partner’s onion soup was too salty. I ordered the prefix dinner and main entree fish was bland. The dessert cream caramel was average. The best part of the meal was the bread. Our server was very nice to send us with bread and jam to take with.
The service was really slow (Friday night crowd). Price of drink was resonable. The food was very disappointing. The noise level was very loud and the tables were very close to one another. I could hear the conversation next to our table very clearly. The lady was drunk so her voice rose above the din.
To sum it up, I expected a lot more from a restaurant associated with Thomas Keller I definitely would not go back again. (The staff was very nice but they have no control over the quality of the food and the noise level)
