Always excellent. Love the new inside chairs & booths. Our fav!!!
Only one complaint. Cannot dine outside because of the poor quality, uncomfortable chairs. When you have that wine list, the food selection and the upscale experience and willing to pay for it ..... you MUST be comfortable dining and small wooden chairs are not acceptable. Try leather FROG brand or something that matches the entire rest of the experience 😍😍😍
Had the most excellent evening at Bouche Bistro. I will definitely be dining the again.
We eat here every time we visit Santa Fe. The food is sensational and the ambience feels like a true French bistro. The mussels and halibut were superb.
We had not been to Bouche in over a year, but the food was every bit as good this time.
Calf's liver dijonnaise was wonderful, and the halibut was superb according to my two companions
The profiteroles are not to be missed. What's different here is the additional chocolate sauce brought to the table and poured over the dessert.
The noise level was high but that was because every table was taken...We didn't come to talk, we came to eat.
Won't be another year before we come back!
Great evening. Love the place. Great wait staff. Food was outstanding.
Our experience dining our second time was nothing like our first dining experience which blew us away with food, wine pairings and service. This time it appeared they were short staffed in the dining room and possibly in the kitchen. We placed our order but it took over 15 minutes after we ordered to get bread and 40 minutes after we ordered to get the first course ( a chilled soup and a beet salad). Did he forget to place our order???? No one came to the table or addressed the time lag between ordering and receiving the first course. Instead, they just walked by looking perplexed. Thomas our waiter brought my wine poured it all quickly in the glass and practically ran away not allowing me to taste it first. The wine was less than optimal in taste. When we received the bill I was charged for a Duckhorn Pinot Noir not the French Pinot I had ordered which made me wonder if I was poured the wrong wine. There seemed no point in saying anything as we could barely get anyone’s attention. My truffle stuffed pheasant had no truffle taste. My husband’s calves liver was requested with crisped prosciutto and came out not crispy so they had to take it back (previous dining experience they got this right). The liver was delicious and properly prepared. We declined dessert as by this time we had been there almost 2 hours for 2 courses and the dining room that was once full was just about empty. Previous dining experience had an amazing lemon meringue tart and was looking forward to having it again but just wanted to leave. Sadly we won’t go back. Last time we dined I told the owner on the way out that the restaurant was our new favorite in Santa Fe. This time it fell majorly short and we won’t go back. Not worth the nearly $200 spent on 2 apps, 2 entrees and 3 glasses of wine.
As usual, we found Bouche Bistro to be delightful. We all agreed the food was delicious and met all our expectations. We shall return.
Nice, informal atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food.
Wonderful waitress and lovely menu.
Bouche is a regular restaurant for us. Food is always great and the specials add a nice variety to a pretty simple menu. Importantly, the service is always very friendly, informed and attentive.
Great food and time as usual!!
We had a wonderful time. If you are into wine, definitely consider Bouche. They have a wonderful selection, including more than a few that are hard to find. And prices are fair. The food is excellent and the staff top notch. Bouche has a pleasant bistro feel. A great place for a special occasion or just when the desire strikes to have a great dining out experience.
Bouche Bistro never disappoints! Both the escargot starter and our main courses were excellent. I had the pasta special of the day and it was super. The service was very good even on a very busy night. Only negative is the noise level.
Excellent all around. Has the possibility of being our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe.
Bouche is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. This authentic French Bistro cuisine is truly amazing, starting with the incredible home-made bread. The escargot are so well prepared and presented, as is everything at this restaurant. The beet salad is a great example of beauty on a plate with smears of beet sauce, a rainbow of baby beets, delicate fried balls of Roquefort cheese and lovely fresh salad greens.
A favorite is the foie gras either sautéed or as a terrine. Both leave you speechless. On other occasions I have enjoyed the fresh oysters and the liver Dijonnaise with onions. Wow!
I would highly recommend trying Bouche Bistro!
we really enjoyed the meal and the food was just great. The service was the best that I have ever had anywhere. However the noise level in this place was very loud. I don't know what they can do about that, it is a small place with a lot of diners. Even tha said I would go back and let friends know how great the food and service is.
I sent the salad back
Romaine had no green and they couldn’t answer my questions about where is was from and the cdc calling for ban on romaine
Escargot wasn’t as good as last time
Not bubbling hot
Fish was sea bass but wasn’t a prime cut for 38$ dish
Just not satisfied like the last time.
We didn’t have wine and it was still $168.
It was our 40th wedding anniversary
It was nice of them to bring us a glass of bubbly but we can’t drink because of medications
Told waiter and he offered other drinks which I took them up on and then they charged us for it.
Halibut special was excellent. Seafood platter and calves liver were OK. Profiterole sauce and ice cream were good but the pate a choux pastry was stale. More attention to the details are in order.
The French would be happy here. Everyone in our party loved the food, including ravioli, Wagyu beef and ribs. Desserts including brulee, apple tart and meringue were terrific. Even have smaller portion options for entrees which we appreciated.
The cuisine was authentically French. The food was well-prepared and the service very knowledgeable and attentive. My only complaint was that the steak tartare was dwarfed by the amount of potato chips served with it. I don't generally make chips the mainstay of my dinner.
I enjoyed a glass of Malbec with the tartare, which was delicious.
Really like the dining room - intimate and cozy.
Good French cuisine.
All three dishes were cooked perfectly though for my tastes the short rib could have used more flavor. The butternut squash ravioli was perfect with a delicate broth. The cassoulet had nice herbs in it and the portion size was just short of making me feel too full.
The restaurant was severely understaffed in the front of the house. Every time our server came to the table I felt rushed, he forgot things, questions were answered with a rush/I suspect incorrectly, and it seemed way too chaotic, especially at the prices they charge. $28 for a 2.5 ounce portion of foie gras? Mediocre $90+ bottle of grand cru Bordeaux? $17 salads? $9 Sparkling water?
Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly
Best and most authentic bistro cuisine in Santa Fe. Good wine list.
Great food as always. Highly recommend.
Food was wonderful as always, I was my friends first visit.
Overpriced . Spend $200 on unremarkable meal . Menu limited . Wine options overpriced . Much better dinning options in Santa Fe . Sorry we went . Will not return
french atmosphere... like being in a Parisian cozy restaurant... delicious food and fabulous wait staff... a lovely dining experience. looking forward to a quick return.
Delicious (and totally decadent) dinner with one of Santa Fe’s best severs. Always a great experience at Bouche!
The best food out side of Paris. I loved every bite
I took my wife for her birthday we had great time.
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer experience
Keep the good
Everything was outstanding! First time at this restaurant and we will definitely go back.
We have enjoyed Bouche many times and dine there whenever we are in Santa Fe. My review would have been all 5 stars but the night we were there it was quite busy and noisy due to the number of children. It is not a restaurant to take small children! I will be careful not to make a reservation during spring break in the future. Our waiter Thomas was great and handled the busy evening well. Food was fabulous as ever.
First time here. Will definitely be back. Started with oysters on half shell. Very fresh and delicious. Got the bouillabaisse-beautiful with assorted seafood over a lovely saffron sauce on black rice. Wines were first rate. Friends entrees-market fish, hanger steak were equally delicious. The short ribs were amazing. Pricing very reasonable.
Our experience at Bouche was outstanding. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The wine list was extensive with sufficient selections at various price points. This was our first visit to Bouche; we've enjoyed our visits to Trattoria a Mano and Maize, the two restaurants that complete the trio, as well.
Always a pleasure to dine at Bouche. Superb food, excellent service and a friendly, intimate ambiance.
Loved our evening at Bouche. Recommended by a friend, who knew we were traveling to Santa Fe. Service was excellent, attentive, but not overbearing. We had amazing snails as an appetizer. That garlicky butter was wonderful to dip our crusty french bread in, too! Each of us had a nice glass of wine, which complimented our meal well. Hubby had one of the specials, a nice dish of bass, asparagus, rice and a bit of tomato. I had a lovely dish of butternut squash ravioli with a nice light broth with a bit of meat. The entree size was perfect. We ended our meal with a comforting apple tart with rich vanilla ice cream. The whole meal was wonderful. We sat next to another traveling couple, who ordered almost the same meal. That started some fun conversation and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories with them throughout the night. When in Santa Fe again, we would love to return!
We are always delighted to dine at Bouche. Service and food can not be compared. A visit from Chef Dale nailed my selection -- the sea bass was indeed fresh. Thanks again for another delightful satisfying evening.
Really great find in Santa Fe. Legit French bistro. Bustling, quaint and fun with outstanding food. Definitely going back.
This is our second time to visit this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is very attentive. This is on our permanent restaurant list when we visit Santa Fe. Make reservations, though, they are busy!
Top drawer service- really flawless
They listened to us and brought what we wanted on our schedule
Oysters are pricy but delicious
Black Risotto with seafood was beautiful and delicious
Lovely dessert for the birthday girl
