Great restaurant. A hidden jewel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I would say the food and the service is very good. Bouche Bistro is one of the best French restaurant in Santa Fe. I went there for my Birthday and for dessert the staff give me a cream brûlée with a lit birthday candle. They were so kind, they did not charge me for my dessert.

I love the restaurant and the food - I've had the waitress twice at the same table in the corner and she said (since it was my birthday) and my niece had flown in from CA that she didn't like Virgos. We were both shocked. She also talked about her boyfriend when she lived in Napa, etc. The other night I took my friend for her birthday and we had the same table and waitress and she was not great on detail, seemed less self-involved.

We celebrated a birthday here and enjoyed it. The salmon with Olive Watercress Chickpea Salad was very good. Salmon was perfectly cooked and the salad was a surprise in how good it was. The special of snapper and Brussel sprouts was good also.

The food was good and servers were nice, just had no one really assigned to our table. Had a ask for bread 3 times. Had to ask for anchovies which were supposed to come with the Caesar Salad. For the price it was disappointing!

Bouche has long been a stand-by favorite for us as locals. This most recent visit just made us sad. The food quality has declined significantly, and our lovely outside table was not so lovely with cranky children as our neighbors. Facile gave wonderful service, and the wine was excellent though expensive. Taking this one off of our date night list.

I have to admit that I was a little hesitant at first since there only a few patrons at 6pm, however it was a Tuesday. Tomas was very attentive, personable, helped us with our wine selections. I ordered the duck confit and it was tasty and moist, hubby had the Liver with crispy onions. I am not a liver fan, however, I had a taste of his and it was tender and not dry. I would definitely come back.

We had short rib raviolis and heirloom tomatoes. My husband exclaimed, “Now I know that my tastebuds aren’t dead!” Even the 1664 French beer was delightfully smooth.

We had a lovely time. The food was exceptional. The wine complemented the food. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the creations. Bouche was a nice change from the usual Santa Fe restaurants--very elegant French food in a very casual comfortable setting. We took the waiter's suggestions and were very pleased we did. We will go back the next time we are in Santa Fe.

Bouche Bistro absolutely met our expectations, as they always do. We were highly satisfied with the service we received as well our meal. We cleaned our plates! Always an exceptional experience when we dine at Bouche Bistro! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Sweetbreads has to be sent back, they were soggy and very small for the price. It was disappointing to say the least. The Liver was good.

This was one of the most forgettable meals I’ve had. The place was empty, which was unfortunate. Eerily quiet. We got to sit outside which typically is a lovely experience. The chairs, however, were not padded in anyway nor comfortable.

I had the vegetarian meal, which was $22, and forgettable. It was summer squash and mushrooms, and the mushrooms were not fresh, and did not import a good flavor into the meal. My companion had a short rib/pastor concoction, but later told me that it was cold upon being served, so not really enjoyable.

Our friends were happy with their meals, including a risotto with prawns.

Food quality used to be the high standard for this restaurant, but does not seem to have been carried through with the new chef. Hopefully this was just an off night, following a three day weekend. I won’t be finding out, however.

Our dinner was outstanding. We shared the escargot and gnocchi appetizer, followed by the foie gras special appetizer. Both were delicious. For our entrees, we had the dinner special which was lobster risotto. This was also excellent. The service was great and the courtyard was quaint and cozy. When I plan my next trip to Santa Fe this will definitely be a “return to” restaurant! I highly recommend!

We love Bouche Bistro for special celebrations, their service is top notch, impeccable. Their food is quite good, I had the vegetarian mushroom dish and it wasn't quite as good as other meals I've eaten there. My friend had liver and onions and it was incredible!!

This is a gem in Santa Fe. Every time we visit, this is top of our dining list. The varied seasonal menu is designed by folks who know good food and know how to prepare it properly. Great caring service and great welcomes to repeat customers.

Greeting was good, we had a ‘hightop’ reserved but my guest did not find that appealing. We asked for other options and we almost begrudgingly given an outdoor ‘in the tent’ seat which was marvelous!

Wine was quite expensive but excellent.

Heirloom tomato dish split in two was the exact right amount and stunningly delicious.

Steak tartare was a different presentation: ok but much too salty. The presentation on homemade potato chips added to the saltiness and actually the calorie count, which I had hoped to avoid. I would have preferred more traditional toast points and a counter balance of greens of some sort. Please share this with the kitchen. I won’t order again.

Lemon meringue dessert: custom meringue-devine, lemon custard- excellent but skimpy, pastry-clunky & freezer case quality.

Would I go back, yes. Order some things differently, yes

We've had great experiences at Bouche in the past, but this time was a disappointment. The salmon was very good, but the steak frites were sub-par (the steak was tough and the fries were average--not special enough for the price tag). Also the escargots were drenched in too much sauce.

We sat out on the patio. It was quiet and there was a nice breeze. We could see the trees along the SF River. Our waitress was attentive and personable. The food was delicious. Overall a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely return and tell friends about it.

The food is very good, classic French. The server was somewhat curt and service was slow. We ate inside, with a large party seated behind me , which was loud enough to make conversation at our table difficult. There was no air conditioning and it was a little too warm.

Food is always great. Service is ok. Waiters could be more on it and would benefit from some wine training given it’s a French restaurant. A little more attention would go a long way, it’s a nice atmosphere and serves high quality ingredients in well executed bistro classics. Better service and this would be a top three restaurant in Santa Fe instead of top ten.

It's French for certain. Always delicious. Cold zucchini soup and melon arugula salad were excellent summer menu specials. Duck confit and steak au poivre can't be beat. Beef tartare for those who like it comes with homemade potato chips and was exceptional. Short ribs agnolotti was delicately flavored. Desserts also stellar.

We were celebrating a birthday dinner at Brioche. The host greeted us and acknowledged the special occasion. Upon being seated, he brought complimentary glasses of sparkling wine to both of us. The atmosphere was peaceful, staff attentive, and food delicious. We will be back on a future trip to New Mexico.

A small, charming bistro with good but somewhat overpriced food. The profiteroles are particularly delicious. My biggest problem with the restaurant is that the wines are WAY overpriced. One French rose that I had seen at Whole Foods the day before selling for $16 was priced at $52 per bottle and $13 per glass. This represents an obscene mark-up. There are no wine by the glass selections under $13. This is a bad policy.
