As always, Thomas and his staff provided us a great experience. Absolutely our restaurant of choice for our special occasions!
Restaurant week so the room was busy and happy. The menu was fixed but showed good choices and old favorites. Service was excellent. We enjoyed our evening.
As cute as the place is, and service was amazing, the food is just ok. The price was ridiculous for the quality of the food. I have no idea if anything was local or organic either. I live in a ski resort, so am used to overpriced meals. Nothing I had reminded me of France.

Onion soup, escargot, grouper, for all excellent. Ambiance is as people have said like a bistro in France. Wine prices beware

We went during restaurant week. Very busy, but still very good.
Restaurant Week menu had good selection. The frisee oeuf and escargot appetizers were excellent, the grouper Parmesan Polenta and Poulet Champagne were excellent as well, the profiteroles au chocolate were very good but the pastry was too hard and crisp. Servers were great but the service was pretty slow--they were having a hard time keeping up with the Restaurant Week crowd. It was also too noisy for comfortable conversation until the restaurant cleared out a bit.

We were there during Restaurant Week, and were unimpressed. Very crowded, very noisy, not great service. The French onion soup was terrific, probably one of the best in town. My fish was ok, not very hot and a very small portion. If it was 3 ounces, that was a lot. Our waitress forgot my friend's coffee. The Cote de Rhone by the glass was sweet; I've never had a Cote de Rhone taste like that.
I usually love this restaurant, especially in the summer on the patio. Hadn't been there in awhile. This visit did not meet my expectations.
I may give up on Restaurant Week. If you can afford to go at another time, your experience will be much more pleasant.

We had dinner at Bouche during Santa Fe Restaurant Week, which offered a set menu for $45. Everything was excellent--the menu, the wine, the service, and the atmosphere. We love French restaurants and this met all of our expectations.
We love Bouche Bistro. Everything about it is outstanding.
Always too loud. Food was just okay. Overpriced.
A full and noisy dining room.
Service people were stretched to serve everyone in a timely manner.
My food was good enough but the outrageous noise level spoiled the evening.
Normally this long at the table is not unpleasant for me but
the noise and tight seating made my time at this table too long.
This was our first visit to Bouche Bistro. Fabulous wine selections and an amazing salad with farro, beets, tomatoes, greens, and pistachios. My grouper was overcooked but the risotto and vegetable accompaniments were so delicious. My husband had an excellent steak au poivre, perfectly prepared. We had profiteroles for dessert - the cream puffs were soggy and the chocolate sauce unremarkable. I would not order these again. We will probably visit again and select some other menu items.
Best French food in Santa Fe!
The service was very quick. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was good, but a little pricey. The tables were crowded together with little aisle space in between.
Just delicious and the wait staff was excellent! We will be back!
As always, Thomas assured that we had an outstanding experience. Along with the great food, and small bistro atmosphere, he is why Bouche is so special for us.
I do not recommend Bouche Bistro to my friends. Dining area is overall extremely cramped, we were seated in the corner squeezed right against a wall, under an AC unit, and with very little room between us and the adjacent table. My partner was unable to squeeze out of her seat without bumping into the adjacent table. Food was generally undercooked. I was informed that the duck and veal specials would be cooked medium to medium-rare, but both were rare to medium-rare. This however might just be a reflection on my personal preference of done-ness. The truffles in the veal special were definitely off smelling similarly to cleaning product or a swimming pool. This could be due to poor truffle storage or sourcing which is indicative of molding. The restaurant at time of visit was considerably busy, but waiters/waitresses were extremely slow to attend to tables, a concern mirrored by our neighbors. I'm sure that the extremely tight quarters did not help them at all.

I will go back as the ambiance, service and the food are all equally outstanding. Our waiter Tomas is a gem of a waiter and as a person. Can’t believe that I we have not gone to this restaurant as long as it has been open. I plan to go back often
We arrived before the crowd and were well attended. Later as more guests arrived, that fell off, but still adequate. The food was excellent. One of us had the prawn appetizer and the wonderful Osso Bucco with a very nice Cotes du Rhone. A take-out was enjoyed the next day. An adequate quantity of food well made and presented.
An early reservation is recommended for an optimal experience. When not rushed the staff performs superbly.
Classic beautifully prepared French menu. Somewhat pricey but what they provide reflects that quality.
Lovely dinner there - small venue, great service, wonderful food - nice to have such incredible options in Santa Fe and this is one of them.

I was here on a girl’s trip last year and loved it so much, I brought my dad and his wife back for a lovely dinner. We all enjoyed the service and meal! I would love a less expensive bottle of wine, which is the only reason I gave a 4 star. $42 was the least expensive and as good as it was, it would nice to have options. I will say it was a lovely meal, outstanding food and out

We've been to Bouche many times over the years. Every aspect of the dinner last night was perfect and it was a plus for us that they weren't crowded because it's not tourist season. Usually when we go it's packed shoulder to shoulder. I had quit ordering fish at restaurants because it was always overcooked. My fish at Bouche was perfect.
Wonderful dinner. Started with oysters on the half shell, shirt ribs and chocolate mousse. Superb!

Four of us were planning to be in Santa Fe for New Year’s Eve and made a reservation approximately 10 days in advance at Bouche because it was one of few restaurants that didn’t have a prix fixe menu for that night, and we’d dined there before and enjoyed it. Sadly, the restaurant was woefully underprepared for the night and when we arrived at our reserved time, there was a group of people clustered in the tiny entrance with nowhere to sit. Sparkling wine was poured for us but it was extremely uncomfortable and the customers seemed annoyed by our presence which encroached on their dining space. After 45 minutes we were seated at a communal table on stools. We waited another 30 minutes without being offered wine or food and so we left. There was no offer to make amends just a hope that we didn’t stand in the cold too long waiting for our ride.
I hate to judge a restaurant on one busy holiday night but it is some indication of a failure of management or untrained staff. A disappointing start to our new year for sure.
