Bottle Inn Riviera - Redondo Beach Ratings and Reviews
The Bottle Inn has turned into our go to place for our Friday night out. The food is good but the staff makes it even better. All are very nice and the owner makes sure to come by and say hello. It is a pleasure to dine there either alone with my wife or when we bring a few friends.
Have dined at the Bottle Inn and always had a good experience, until this one. Called and reserved outside table, when arrived was put inside, in a corner, by the kitchen. Obnoxious other guest and music that was too loud for the size of the room made it difficult to even talk with the server more less each other. Overall disappointing. Spoke with staff and nothing was offered to address the situation. Surprising
great old fashion Italian with all the comfort of a warm inviting room. Service is excellent with sincere care. Wine list is very good with both Italian and California represented. Wine list includes great wines and good value wines. Our favorite local go to place without pretense. Kids have several favorite meals there as well.
We celebrated my daughter's 28th birthday at the restaurant! We requested a table outside and when we arrived it was ready. Sandra was our waitress and she was very attentive and courteous!
The food was excellent! We just came back from Italy and we didn't know if the pasta would be as good as the one we had on our trip! It was delicious! I had the Ragatoni with chicken and it was very flavorful! We will be back!
This isn't an easy review to write. Many mixed feeling. The room is crowded and the tables uncomfortably close. Even more so than a New York City establishment. Seriously, I couldn't back my chair up to get out. The service was "enthuastic" if one more person had referred to me and my wife with a giddy "hi guys!" I was going to loose it. I've only dined this one time, so I don't really want to critique the food. For this visit, it was a bit lackluster. Nothing to cheer, but nothing to complain about either. Really I think the food can be potentially pretty great. We did very much enjoy a lemon cake desert.
We choose the Bottle Inn in Redondo for my daughters 27th Birthday with family on a Sunday night at 7:30. I made reservations and we where seated right away. There was a large party on the patio and seemed to be only one waitress. We waited awhile for service but once we ordered everything went well. I didn't feel that we were top priority for our server. The Bus boys were very attentive. The food was excellent but pricey. I love the wine menu.
This location usually has great service and pretty good food. My recent experience had a issue There was a pary of 18+ that the kitchen and service couldn't handle. It took 15 minutes longer than it should have to order because the waitress was handling too many customers. The food delivery took more than 45 minutes. That was too long as well. Last, when the bill came there was an automatic service charge of 18%. although I don't usually disagree with the 18%, I didn't like having poor service and slower food delivery and then be told what tip I had to pay. The bill for 6 people was over $400. To be told to pay 18% on top of the bill was out of line.
Friendly excellent service! Very loud inside so choose patio if you want quieter. The only thing I would recommend is a change in vegetable prep and choice. Spinach wasn't prepared well nor carrots nor potatoes. Perhaps some grilled veggies or fresher thank you
Decided to try the Bottle Inn in Redondo since we hadn't been there since it opened. We were not disappointed. We sat in the small front room near the bar. Noise level is moderate. We started with a split Gorgonzola salad (even a split is huge). Our entrees were Scalone Adriana and Salmon with vodka, both delicious. Accompanied by a bottle of Gainey sauvignon blanc, it was a very enjoyable dinner. We will definitely return.
