Enjoyed dinner with friends at this gem of a restaurant. Chicken Piccata is wonderful!
The food was well prepared & presently nicely. The pasta was cooked a perfect al dente. Nice wine selection. Attentive service.
If the weather is good definitely take advantage and sit outside on the Fabulous backyard patio - especially when there is entertainment! Our server was excellent! So bummed they ran out of mushroom ravioli. Bolognese fettucine was perfectly al dente but a little boring. Loved the fish special and lamb chop.
Have been a fan of Botticellis for 10 years now. Always have had amazing food and the service is awesome. It's crazy that more people don't know about this place. They just started serving brunch FINALLY. Get the pancakes!
Was a wonderful experience, with amazing food and a great, pleasant waiter.
Atmosphere: 8/10 back porch was very nice. Open space with stage and trees
Food: 4/10 subpar. Ordered 2 pasta dishes which came out in under 10mins which made me think the noodles/ravioli were already cooked sitting in a warmer all night. Pasta was alittle rubbery as well
40th birthday party with 6 friends. The food is excellent with enough choices for a group but not a large menu to get confused and distracted. Our group ordered 4 different starters, 3 different salads, and most of the main courses...the mussels were excellent, cheese plate was varied and tasty....the beet salad is my favorite dish so far after 2 visits!!!
Nice wine list and full bar, service is friendly and professional! The main dining room is small and a bit noisy but the patio is a great space and beautifully lit.
Overall this is becoming one of my favorite destinations for drinks and great food in Austin!
The food was great and the service was awesome. The restaurant reminded me of the little restaurants in Italy, and it had a good vibe. Only bad part was that we were seated by the kitchen which was quite noisy, but other than that the dinner was fantastic.
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner for our anniversary, great service.
Had Easter dinner with our family on the patio and, as always, had wonderful food, drinks, and service. Sunday all day happy hour sweetened the deal.
My wife and I decided to go here for our 34th Anniversary. It really was a great experience from arrival to departure. We actually arrived 30 minutes early and they seated us at the bar while preparing a table, which took all of about 5 minutes, not even enough time to get a drink. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our waiter was really quite fantastic and made wine and food recommendations. The food was over the top. The best we have had since coming to Austin. We started with the INSALATA DI NAPOLEON and the BOTTICELLI BREAD, bot excellent but the salad was the stand out. Our entree's were PANSOTTI DI FUNGI and COSTOLETTE D’AGNELLO, again both very good. The ravioli had such a deep, earthy, mushroom umami flavor that has left my wife wanting more. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the goat cheese panna cotta sent it over the top. We had tiramisu for desert and it was the perfect finish to the perfect anniversary meal. Great experience and we would highly recommend Boticelli's for any occasion.
Lasagna is one of my goto comfort foods. This rendition was probably the best I have ever had. The cheese was appropriately toasted, the noodles were tender, and the marinara was fresh. Not too much of anything, but just the right amount of traditional garlic and Italian spice. Highly recommend.
Went for the Happy Hour food menu, which was only available outside on the patio. Unfortunately, it had rained all day so the atmosphere wasn't that great. Food was decent, service was really good.
Amazing! 3rd time here-1st time wasn’t a good experience...we waited almost 1hr and 40 min to get appetizers and drinks...the waitress was intentionally avoiding us bc there was obviously an issue. We are very patient at restaurants, but this was something we had never experienced. We ended up asking for the check and the manager came over and gave us $75 gift card. We returned to give it a 2nd chance and that time and our 3rd time have exceeded our expectation. We ate inside our 2nd time and outside our 3rd. There was live band so that was really nice. The bread they give you with your meal is so yummy. My husband got the lasagna and I got the special, pistachio crusted mahi-mahi! Both were phenomenal. We got a salad as an app with candied pecans and apples -so fresh and light. And the spicy shrimp app-wasn’t in Love, too “fishy”, but not bad just wouldn’t get it again. Loved our waitress she was great! Manager came over at end to make sure we enjoyed our meal. So great!
Outstanding!! Made it a point to return to Botticelli's on the one-year anniversary of our 1st date!! We will not wait another year before we return.. We set indoors on both occasions, but the outdoor seating in back with live music looks very inviting.. We will try it and let you know.
In town for a visit, found this spot in SoCo on Open Table. Had a table near the kitchen, amazing to watch what wonderful creations kept appearing out of such a small working space. Mussels were superb, two fresh pasta dishes and craft cocktails ensured a wonderful meal. Don't miss this spot, next time I want an outdoor table near the music.
Good food and ambience, very friendly staff!
Great food and the staff were friendly and attentive.
We like to visit Botticelli's. We arrived on time and got seated quickly. There was only one inside table taken. We enjoyed our cocktails. We ordered our Antipasti - COZZE A VAPORE. It was fresh and delicious. We then got our INSALATA DI VERDURE MISTA. They conveniently split the plate. I could eat a whole pound of those candided pecans.
For dinner, I ordered the PANSOTTI DI FUNGI. It arrived with hot cream sauce, but it was NOT marsala. The inside of the raviolis were cold. I let them know and they immediately remade the dish. It was nice an hot, but the ravioli mixture inside did not have ANY ricotta. We were in a rush and decided to just continue eating my meal. My wifes CAPESANTE E TARTUFO RISOTTO was delicious.
We had dessert and coffee which were great. Botticelli responded greatly to my feedback and I
would recommend them and come back.
We had not been in awhile
All better than we remembered
Talked about how good it was to several people the next day... Outstanding meal
Not only was the food and wine great, but the service was great as Well! Jacob, our water, was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and very personable. You could tell he wanted to make our get together memorable!
Very good food. The fish special was very salty and too much pepper. Sea bass. The risotto it was served on wasn’t creamy enough. Salads were a little spendy. Service was fantastic. Thank you.
Amazing food and fantastic service. Thus was our first time and we will be back for sure!!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Always a favorite to take family and friends visiting from out of town.
Amazing experience as always! My husband is frIends with matt and we always have great service!!
Always the best experience! Family & friends love it every time!
Food is always very good, nice intimate setting, good service and you can hear yourself and your guests talk!
We come here every year for our anniversary. This was our third time and it was fantastic as usual. The food is amazing and the service was fantastic. Our server this year, Daniel, was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. We would absolutely recommend Botticelli’s to everyone.
I couldn't have chosen a better spot to celebrate my nuptials with my family. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and super friendly with any questions we had. The thing that really had me happy was seeing how ecstatic my new husband was over his meal. He claimed he never had a steak better than the one that night.
Thank you again so much for making our special day, that much more special.
Server forgot multiple items, only to find him outside smoking and on his phone.
Excellent service and the best lasagna!
Our reservation was for 7:45 but we arrived early and got to sit early which was nice. Caitlin was our server and she was great. The food was amazing. It was kind of noisy and we couldn’t really hear each other without yelling but overall had a great time
We visited here for Valentine's dinner. They had a pre-fixed menu, which was fine by us. The food was absolutely delicious and paired beautifully. Our waitress was a delight, Candice(sp?). She wass so helpful and made the night even better. We liked it so much, we stayed at the bar when Done and had even more fun with the bartender, she was so great( sorry blanking on her name but, she makes a mean bloody Mary mix apparently[Will test this when we go for brunch]). We will be back.
We were 25 minutes late for Valentines and they still had our table... Our server Candice was awesome! Food was terrific, and the hostess at the door reassured us parking at the lot down the street would probably be okay (it was)...
WE WENT FOR SATURDAY BRUNCH AS THEY JUST STARTED THIS OFFERING>. VERY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN ATMOSPHERE >. CHARMING WAITSTAFF AND OWNERS
GOOD MENU SELECTION AND FOOD WELL PREPARED>. WE WILL BE BACK
This place is amazing. The food is really outstanding- deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. We sat at the bar and Michelle took fantastic care of us with great recommendations for food and wine. Eat here, then go next door and see some music at the Continental Club.
Long-time ATX resident; first-time Botticelli's diner. It's a smallish, rather "intimate" space on the inside, though quite charming and tastefully appointed. Seating capacity likely doubles when weather favors the outdoor area. Solid menu with some interesting dishes. We had their take on the duck (seared breast w/ duck Confit ravioli) and the tagliatelli with 4 very large meatballs for a more "autentico" take on the fare. Both were great and half the pasta went home. So, yes, large portions. The wine list as one might guess was largely Italian with a very nice number of WBTG so you could easily finagle a taste. The servers were happy to oblige in this regard. Which brings me to what made Botticelli's stand out more than anything and HEAD & SHOULDERS above 90% of Austin restaurants these days - Service. From entry to exit these guys NAILED it from friendly greetings to thoughtful recommendations and constant, but by no means overbearing attention. They functioned as a team and my oh my was it refreshing. Too many restaurants these days overlook the importance of a top-notch waitstaff and it is to their detriment. Props to you Botticelli's for hitting on all cylinders.
Friendly waitstaff with excellent service. Focused northern Italian menu executed well.
Wonderful neighborhood atmosphere with great food!
I made this reservation for when my mom came in from out of town. We just vacationed in Italy last year and Botticelli’s was a lovely authentic trattoria for us to reimagine we were back in Florence. The pasta, wine and ambiance was wonderful!
