Great atmosphere and décor. Excellent service. Menu somewhat limited but good selection of Northern Italian cooking. Excellent desert. Thought Cesar salad was a "B" while everything else was an A to A-. Would definitely come back.

All in all pretty good. Food portions were huge (bolognese with four meatballs the size of billiard balls!). Service was typical of nice restaurants in Austin which is to say lacking (the waitperson took my wife's drink order and disappeared without taking mine until I flagged her down. Then my drink sat on the bar until I again flagged her down and pointed out the drink was waiting. To the person's credit she did seem to be trying. For whatever reason in Austin whether you spend $50 or $300 on dinner the service rarely meets expectations). I will say I was pleasantly surprised the bar was able to produce a nicely done martini.

Great lowly lit Italian kitchen feel. Cozy booth! Nice wine but small list. Fresh and delicious food.

Great little spot on South Congress. Food was very good and deserts were great. Little slow on service but overall a nice place for friends and family to enjoy a good Italian meal.

The risotto was too salty and too large. The serving was enough for a family of four. Would prefer more vegetable offerings and healthy fish entrees.

My brother and I met here for dinner this past week. After a good experience a couple of years ago, I was anxious to dine at Boticelli’s again. The salmon special and the lamb chops were only average in taste and presentation. Given the price of the dinner (approx. $30 per entree), I would have expected more flavorable food and higher quality service. Disappointed and unlikely to return.

Nice Place. Will go again. Sorry I will not do that. I am doing you a favor and the audacity of telling me I am not doing you a favor to you satisfaction is asinine.

Prefix for NYE had plenty of options and good value for $65. We sat on the patio knowing well it was going to be cold (ended up snowing) but anticipated heaters. Ample warmth with heaters provided even though you could see your breath. Kitchen and server ensured nut allergy was not an issue with what we ordered. Coffee was provided since dessert options couldn’t be confirmed nut-free.

The folks are just great at Botticelli's! We oft have trouble with 3rd string staff on my wife's b'day, 2 days after xmas, but this place cooks from the top down. Kudos to the Chicago owners. Gyon was a superb bartender, Jackie was an excellent waitress, and Quincy even does bussing and setup with panache. The kitchen was firing on all cylinders, and Mercy made good Gyon's over-the-phome promise of an intimate booth, even though they were all occupied when we arrived. I gave 'value' 3 stars for dinner, but their happy hour is a bargain! But the wall sconces are atrocious.

So glad Botticelli’s is on OpenTable again! It’s my favorite restaurant in Austin, will continue to be a regular date night spot, food and service are spot on.

The food is always amazing here and the service is top-shelf. If dining outside, they usually have live music. It can be a fancy occasion or a low-key casual date - Botticelli's always delivers!

Chef was heavy-handed with the pepper on the spaghetti and lasagna. Made it inedible for both my husband and I, but the service made it up to us with free dessert, free champagne & took a dish off the bill.

I know everyone in Austin wants BBQ or TexMex but this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have found. All pasta is made in-house. Nicely curated list of Italian wines. Great staff and service. I go every time I visit Austin!

After my second visit, I feel it’s time to write a review. First, the service is excellent. The waiter was very attentive, but not hovering. The atmosphere is also very warm and inviting.

Now on to the food. It was good, but not on par with the price you’re paying. Everything is really drenched with sauce, regardless of the style of dish. I’ve tried several different dishes here with the same result. For example, I had the daily lasagna. I was attracted to the homemade pasta in it. There was about an inch and a half of arugula piled on top with a puddle of marinara surrounding the lasagna itself. I’m not a 5 star chef, but I feel like sauce is meant to accentuate the main dish, this being the pasta/lasagna. I couldn’t taste the pasta at all, just the marinara. I don’t think I’ll be returning. I expect more for $25-$30 a plate

We enjoyed dining at Botocillis !
It was a rainy cold day and the restaurant was cozy .
We started with bread which was very good next we split a foresta salad prior to serving the kitchen put our salad on 2 plates and they were very generous. For our main course we ordered the scallops with risotto and the lamb chops with green beans and new potatoes. Both orders were a divine experience to our taste buds. We both had wine and the staff was helpful with their suggestions.

Great happy hour! I wasn’t that impressed with the original bread... Caesar was decent and the raviolis were good. Great service, perfect for a date night. I thought this place was good, lacking salt, and not amazing.

I really love Boticelli's - it was my second time there. The food was delicious as usual. I was a little bummed because usually they have a musician on Saturdays, but they didn't this time. My one complaint is that when I made the reservation I requested indoor seating. When the hostess sent us to the back I told her that I had made a reservation for indoors and she blew me off saying they had lots of reservations for indoors. It was frustrating, but thankfully we were able to sit under a heater. I understand the hostess' dilemma but she could have been more gracious or apologetic about it.

EVERYTHING was great. We were planning on another Italian restaurant up the street, but a friend recommended this place. We were able to make same-day reservations. The waitress was knowledgeable about the wine list and was helpful. The only negative is that my reservation mentioned 'anniversary'. It would have been nice to have that acknowledged and/or a comp dessert.

I really enjoyed the overall environment. The people were social and having a good time. I wasn't too excited after lunch and dinner. We had the lasagna and the ice cream cake(not sure of actual name). I enjoyed the lasagna but was hoping for a bit more food. A side would have been great. The cake was good but probably wouldn't get it again. Overall I would recommend this place to a couple and I am planning to try something different next time I plan to go. This place is great because the staff was excellent and hostess were nice.

Started with some cocktails while we waited for our table to be ready. Mike the bartender served us up some excellent drinks. The food was excellent and paired well with wine we picked from their expansive wine list. Overall, it was a great dining experience! Highly recommend this restaurant located in a very cool area of Austin that offers great bars and a few music venues all within easy walking distance of each other.

This is one of my favorite places for authentic, delicious, comforting Italian cuisine. Every time we take friends to Botticelli's, our friends fall in love with the place. Fantastic vibe, great indoor and outdoor experience. The best homemade butternut squash ravioli ever, ever, ever. The service is A+. attentive, interested, knowledgable. I love everything about it...especially the butternut squash ravioli...
