If you go to Austin, we just celebrated our 19 year Anniversary at Botticelli’s on S Congress next to the Continental club. Matt (owner) is awesome! Service was perfect!
The food incredible. Ambiance in the front of the restaurant very cozy. Garden area more casual with music on certain nights. Italian... with more than a few family recipes...mussels, Botticelli bread, Ravioli in cream sauce and Tiramisu...amazing!!!
Showed up for our 8:30 reservation. When we entered the hostess informed us our table wasn’t ready and we could wait at the bar. We grabbed drinks and after 20 min asked about our Table he told us they were still waiting for the party to get up. Finally after another 10 min she walked passed us and said it’s ready. Walked to the table threw down the 3 menus and walked off. Like we bothered her Bc we had to wait an extra almost 30 min for our table. Other than her rudeness the food and our waiter were amazing. Just disappointed with the experience when we got there. Other than that could not have enjoyed the food more. It was great.
Food and service was wonderful! A bit noisy for a romantic evening, drinks were initially a bit slow, however was overall a great evening! We were seated in a booth which was perfect for us, but the other tables are very close together and there were some children.
I'd recommend if you're going to The Continental Club after dinner. We had the Botticelli Bread which is probably pretty good, but it was over cooked and black in places, the mussels were good, the house made pasta was really good (I had the carbonara), the risotto was so so and the dessert (some sort of lime/cherry cheesecake thing) was marginal. The service was very good. Ambiance was very nice even though it's a cramped space until it started to get busy. Who ever picks out the music does a great job. Overall I'd say it's good.
Went to Botticelli's in honor of my girlfriend's birthday. The food was fantastic. The wine was amazing. But the best part of the experience was Hillary, who provided the exact amount of service needed and who was quite knowledgeable about the wine selection. Her recommendation was spot-on, and greatly enhanced an already splendid evening. Thank you to Hillary, to the management, and the kitchen staff. Botticelli's is a 10/10.
Excellent appetizer of scallops with beet salad
Amazing poke chop and lasagna
Great selections and service !
This time for some reason the food didn't arrive at the table as hot as it should have--especially the normally perfect Botticelli Bread, but it applied to most of the dishes. (It was a cold day, so the extra chill in the air may have affected things while the food was getting expedited.)
Midweek business dinner, got seated and enjoyed craft cocktails. Waiter was helpful in guiding us to best options for entrees. Special was lasagna boloinase with arrabiatta sauce. Excellent! We went to wine with entrees. Great food and service in nice small building.
Great experience. Server was excellent and very helpful. Food was delicious- especially the bread.
Great place. Food was great and Jackie was fantastic.
BEST LASAGNA THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Also, service and atmosphere are awesome. Great mixed drinks too.
Our waitress was simply fantastic! She anticipated our every need/want and never pressured us. She went above and beyond! The veggie bread was amazing, and we loved the filet. All in all, we love your restaurant! It was a bit confusing because your website said you were open for brunch but you were closed at that time. We did dinner instead.
Great venue to sit outside. Service was excellent.
Food is top notch. We sat outside and the band was LOUD. Luckily they were good but it was tough to have conversations.
The steak is amazing and you can’t beat the Botticelli’s bread.
It was just too loud sitting under a blaring speaker. We endeavoured to have a great conversation but was just too challenging. Then to be sitting too close to the bar which later in the evening became a very loud space beginning with the person behind the bar.
Lived here 3 years, went to Botticelli’s for the first time this week, we’ll be back! Food was excellent, I had the mista salad (very nice) and the fish special (tuna) wife is gluten free and she had chicken, and the soup of the day, we had two glasses of a Cabernet they had just opened. Service was professional. Food was outstanding all around.
Everything was fantastic! Food, service, everything!
Opentable reservations don't allow requesting front of house vs beer garden. We chose to go when we did because we wanted to take advantage of being available on a night when there's live music, but we booked through Opentable and got sat in a corner of the very loud dining room. We couldn't hear each other because there were three to five roaring conversations going on all around us. The room looked very nice, but our table felt awkwardly placed in the room.
The food was very good, but definitely not a just-regular-date-night price level. It would have felt like a better choice if we could hear the music or at least each other.
Wanted to get a bottle of wine, but the cheapest bottle price was twice what I expected the low end to be.
Do get the specialty stuffed bread appetizer. Great dish, good price.
I was the first person at the restaurant and was greeted and seated. After asking the server Gian what he liked, I took his recommendation and ordered an amazing mint salad and the mushroom ravioli and added sausage to the order. Gian was did an amazing job of pairing a primativo for me with my meal. The meal was really good and had a kick to it, but not too much, and the wine went very well with my meal. Gian was very attentive and made sure that I was taken care of. When it became time to order dessert, I was disappointed to find out that the cappuccino machine was out of order so I ordered
the tiramisu and a dessert wine. The tiramisu was ok, however, it was a bit frozen which was very disappointing. I have recommended Botticelli's to a friend already and I look forward to going back again. Thank you Gian and Botticelli's for a wonderful dining experience.
What a great place! We sat outside and listened to local live music, even with hot temperatures the ceiling fans kept things pleasant. The food and service were awesome. We came for a college tour, hope my son is accepted so we can return!!!!
The food was Amazing! The wait was an hour with a reservation but the manager acknowledged the delay and gave us food to pass the time. Great service trumps every time. Money well spent!
Awesome as usual!
Botticelli's has been our "go to" restaurant for years and has never disappointed. Whether you eat on the patio with the live music or inside, the food and service are always exceptional. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Great experience great food!
Botticelli's always delivers! Their Boticelli bread is incredible, as is their lasagna. I highly recommend the chocolate mouse dessert.
Food was overly salted.
We found the food to quite average, the inside of the restaurant to be a cacophony of noise and the overall value to be more expensive than what the dinner was worth.
Good food, great service. I think the ambiance is mediocre and there are better places with the same price point for an intimate date nite. A great meal, nonetheless.
Both meals, desserts and the appetizer was great. One of the dishes came out cold, but they quickly fixed it. Definitely recommend
Delicious food and excellent wine selection. Great for a romantic date.
Love this place go here all the time. Homemade 🍞 bread, delicious. Have had most of the plates and all are good and a few are divine.
They have an awesome backyard area and bar with covered seating looking onto a stage at the base of a beautiful vast live oak tree providing shade. They have live music most nights of the week.
Nice Birthday dinner
Very enjoyable dining experience. Food was very good. Service was outstanding while ambiance was excellence. Price is very reasonable.
Our server Jacob was attentive and accommodating and had a great personality, the food was wonderful and the setting was quaint. The tagliatelle with meatballs was tasty as was the beet and goat cheese salad.
Perfect spot for family celebrations! Food was amazing and the service was exceptional. They did a great job in helping us celebrate our evening.
Best Italian in Austin.
A group of friends went for the Austin Restaurant Weeks menu. There were ample choices that suited everyone, and every bite was delicious. Our waiter Daniel was great!
Awesome Italian food, great service, and amazing atmosphere
We came for Austin Restaurant Weeks, and we were blown away by both the food, and the service! I will definitely be making a return trip to try more things on the menu. (Don't skip dessert)
Intimate restaurant with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent house made pastas and sauces. The Botticelli bread is not to be missed and can be a great meal all by itself. Interesting wine list with some real hidden jewels.
