We reserved this spot for a birthday dinner. We came in early to beat the crowds. However, it was not crowded due to “social distancing”. Not only did the waiter seem short but nothing special was done for the birthday. We split the check in to two parties. The waiter decided to give himself an extra tip on one of the checks. The tip was included for the entire bill on the other party’s check. Also, two of the four people ended up sick they evening. They shared an appetizer that the other two did not eat.

We had a wonderful lunch at Bottega. The rabbit sugo is amazing! We also shared the calimari which was done perfectly. It was a wonderful day.

Food was great, but definitely need to order more than one appetizer. Beautiful restaurant a d great location. Server kept trying to up sell, which I understand, but it was a little pushy. Suggested and brought a glass of wine for $22 and the Moscow Mule was upgraded to Belvedere $18, which we didn’t ask for (unless that’s their house vodka, but I doubt it)

A wonderful evening at Bottega to celebrate my mother in laws 70th birthday. It was the best meal we had while in Napa. The funnel cake appetizer was unique and delicious. The gnocchi was like little pillows of deliciousness. The David Arthur Meritagio wine made it even better.

Recommended by a friend for our trip to Napa. Our waiter totally took care of us with a great flight of appetizers, second course, and then the chicken under a brick and braised beef ribs finished us off. Outstanding dinner!

Menu was so original and the food and wine were delicious. Wait staff was attentive and well coordinated. Seating allowed plenty of elbow room and was comfy.

Overall a fun and satisfying dining experience. Pleasantly surprised.

Great restaurant food and ambiance is a amazing. The server, while nice, was very aggressively pushing items throughout lunch. While it didn’t ruin the experience, it certainly could have been done without.

Had a great meal. One thing to be aware of is that they charge a dollar per person for water and bread. Not a big deal but when you are paying this much for your meal seems ridiculous and they don't tell you about. It just appeared on the bill.

Maybe the worst meal I’ve ever had in Napa Valley and the same mustache waiter was rude and offensive to the guests. never going there again going to cancel and 80 person party that my firm is having it was more than bad it was offensive.

Great food, great ambiance. My only issue is that the waiter treated us like second class citizens the whole time because it was obvious he was so focused on all the high-end clients or the bigger tables. Very disappointed in the service. He forgot our drinks, wouldn't check up on us until we waived him over every time.

One of my favorite restaurants in Yountville, if not the world!!!
That mushroom appetizer is a favorite. Everything for lucn was amazing. Pasta Bolognese. the wine, the service and the lovely ambiance.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here with a great server. Ended up seated next to acquaintances from 12 years ago and he read our interest in talking over dining at that time. When we were ready to select wines, I requested 3 “by the glass” samples to figure out what we wanted with different courses. He presented them blind, which is the first time I’ve had a restaurant do this, and we’re wine geeks who do this at home regularly. And of course the food was excellent! However great service always makes a difference, and is especially important in an area where there are countless options for great food.

Disappointed.... salad was sad... my pasta was really bad. I ordered an arrabiata... it seems they just poured a tomato can over the chicken/pasta. Definitely not recommendable....

Terrific dinner on a busy Friday night. We hadn’t been for 5 years and it was just as good as we remembered. Started with the Raviolo, which was just delicious. I had the beautiful Branzino and my husband enjoyed the pasta Bolognese. The sommelier helped us pick a wonderful Brunello and we finished with a delicious Zeppole (Italian donut) oozing with homemade Nutella. Chef Chiarello was in the house and visited the tables with a warm greeting and posed for pictures as well.

Wow! We were so taken by surprise at this beautiful restaurant with wonderful, friendly service and a delightful and creative way of preparing and presenting Italian food. We shared the meatballs dressed with a dab of sugu and pine nuts, a smear of roasted eggplant and on the plate were a few roasted peppers; the smoked salmon risotto with clams was too big and rich for us to finish and the pan roasted chicken with Calabrian chili was the best chicken we’ve ever eaten! We will be back!

It’s always a wonderful evening spent here at the beautiful Bottega restaurant. Excellent service! This is on the top of my list !! I had the cauliflower (must order item), the spaghetti Alla Sophia Loren, and the luscious chicken!! Beautiful bread too . Can’t wait for the sun to come out so I can sit on a spring evening under the awning and enjoy some more fabulous foods here. Love it so much !!!

Love Bottega!!! Our go to restaurant when we are looking for great Italian food. We have dined here several times and have not had a bad experience ever. The service is always great, and food delicious. The restaurant has a fabulous outdoor space which is lovely during the warmer months. This is a definite must visit restaurant when in Napa Valley, you will not be disappointed.

Restaurant is beautiful. Dark. Good service. Cocktails were excellent but overpriced as usual. Food was very good although the main course was good it wasn't amazing. However, you could tell quality was important here and I would definitely recommend you stop. Plenty of choices. Good place for a date!

Tables too close together to enjoy a private dinner for two.
Food excellent and service outstanding. Loved the decor, but loud parties next to us spoiled our evening as we could barely hear each other across the table.
