   It was mine and my husband‘s first time yesterday at Bottega. Such a beautiful restaurant. Hand’s down, the best place we have dined at. We started off with a delicious Cabernet and Pasta Fritta con Prosciutto. So good! Then my husband had the New York steak (which I tasted) with Calabrian chili, chimichurri and truffle fries. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi della Nonna with old hen tomato sauce and Pecorino Romano. Both were absolutely amazing! We didn’t get to have dessert as we were full with the delicious food. From beginning to end, the staff were friendly, warm, professional and attentive. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning back!

   We were very disappointed and shocked that this place received good reviews. We both ordered the $45 short ribs. We both received two giant chunks of fat. My calamari had 7 small pieces. We couldn’t wait to leave.

   We had excellent service and the restaurant is lovely. All of our food was excellent other than our main course (gnocchi), which was disappointing. The gnocchi was flavorless and mushy. Every meal I've had here in the past has been excellent but this one wasn't up to par in my estimation.

   The servicer took 15 minutes before greeting us. Only asked for drink orders for those ordering booze (1/2 the table doesn't drink alcohol). Did not know much about the food or specials. Had no idea what the dessert specials were. The food was SUPER salty and not great. Disappointed. Bad choice for a mothers day lunch!

    This is our second visit to Bottega, and like the last one, this came close to perfection. We ordered the duck, the chicken and the tagliarini bolognese, and were jealous of each other's meals. Our server was excellent, knowing when to check back in and when to leave us alone, but always close by when needed. Our only complaint was that we were in the mood for chocolate for dessert and our first two options-- the chocolate lava cake and the special donuts-- were ruled out because they either had nuts throughout or they were fried in peanut oil. With the prevalence for nut allergies, including at the table, we were shocked at the unnecessary inclusion of nuts for those selections.
