Murph was a great server and made our experience fun and effortless!! Highly recommend!
We had a superb dining experience!!!!
It was our special 51st Anniversary. The table near to us had several middle aged women acting very childish. They were standing on their chairs, yelling and screaming and were quite drunk. It pretty much ruined our evening. We can't believe management would not have done something.
Great Food Great atmosphere
Our waiter was wonderful, the food delicious, portions a little smaller which I prefer. The variety of seasonal selections excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Birthday lunch. Has become really expensive.
We have been going to Bottega for more than 8 years and continue to enjoy the creative and seasonal changes to this fabulous menu. The service staff is exceptional, knowledgeable and customer service driven from start to finish!!!
We look forward to visiting Bottega again soon!!
Food Wasn’t Good at all, tasted as it was on the hotline too long . Over salted as well
Server became very angry that we sent it back
And didn’t pay any attention to our table the rest of the time
Which reflected in his tip !!
He then had the disrespect to follow us outside with our paid bill and shake it at us and give us a dirty look because he wasn’t tipped well
Absolutely so unprofessional!!! Disrespectful
Horrible Service at this point
My experience can be summed up by "Meh." I'm not the type of person to send dishes back, but out of our 5 dishes, 2 had to be sent back, as they were absolutely flavorless. The gnocchi was the worst I've ever had (it was explained to me it was ricccota gnocchi, so therefore it must be my unrefined palate that was to blame). My lamb chop was cooked perfectly, but had zero flavor, again. The tomato pasta dish, however, was some of the best pasta I had ever had. Her chicken dish was absolutely amazing. The appetizers and desserts, were great, the service was overall solid.
So do the highs outweigh the lows? Probably not, especially at this price point.
Wonderful. Staff treated us when they found out my girlfriend was a breast cancer survivor. Thank you for making her birthday special!! Food was outstanding.
Veggie lasagne was not cooked; potatoes were raw; tasted awful; ruined our experience. Wait staff was great; we were comped on the uneatable meals; given a replacement different selection. But, bottom line is that when you are on vacation seeking top wine and culinary experiences you want to avoid a bad dining experience. Will never return and advise anyone else to beware.
Bolognese was fantastic!!!
I would go to this restaurant just for the bread spread ... delicious! Great ambiance ... chill, warm, and cozy.
First visit and would definitely come back. LOVED the food. Only negative was our server who was trying too hard to be funny and didn’t know when to stop talking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Ed or server is very knowledgeable about the menu and how the food is prepared. We always ask for him to wait on us.
Egg Ravioli. Was the best Pasta dish I have ever tried. Simply a must!!! Will go back. Also the grilled octupus was amazing
Tasty food but our waiter messed up a few things. Nice guy and did his best. It was good! But they need to make gluten free fries.
I have been here many times but I must say last night visit was very disappointed. Service was bad and it wasn't busy. Plates were thrown at us and the food was salty.
Terrible service and people
Disappointing that a special occasion was marred by the noise level in this restaurant, not only by the extremely loud music, but the volume of nearby diners. This restaurant's acoustics needs vast improvement for one to dine there again.
Service, ambiance and wine overcame what was average food. One entree was cold and the other nothing special. Maybe just an off night as our reservations were late.
We had the short rib, octopus, shaved brussels sprouts salad, and the sea food bowl. All were outstanding! This is our second visit there and will return every time we come back to Napa!
Absolutely wonderful. The perfect place to go after a day of wine tasting.
Amazing dishes! Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all delicious!
The restaurant is lovely. The wait staff is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The wine list is extensive, with excellent value. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Be sure to try the short rib meatball appetizer!
What a wonderful place. Everything was fabulous. The ambiance, inside and out, the food, the service and the price exceeded our expectations. We were a party of eight.
We had a perfect table between the two flickering fireplaces on the patio. Our server was kind and personable and the food was delicious.
We had reservations and were seated right away. We had a nice table. Service was excellent as well as food and drinks. We will return again.
Very underwhelming. The crudo was insignificant. The Frutti di Mare was sub par. The service was good and attentive. Perhaps too attentive and very stiff. The atmosphere in the entire place was not your usual Wine Country California casual but a seemingly forced repressive quasi-formal cloud permeated the room. Not very enjoyable at all.
As a local this will be our very last time here as there are so many fantastic restaurants around.
Awesome food and service
A little disappointed in the food this time. Sauce with pasta had a burnt taste and sirloin portion of porterhouse was tough and under cooked. Ambiance, service and CFV wine was very good as alway.
Over rated. Food was not great for price and servi e was exrremely slow
One of my favorites of all time ! Best Italian and great location.
My wife and I eat at Bottega four or five times a year - touristy, pricey, crowded, loud - but the food is always good, the service is excellent and we always enjoy ourselves.
Casual lunch with friends visiting Napa for the first time. We’ve dined here happily on many occasions. This is high season in Napa so service was predictably slower than usual, and the noise level was very high with chattering Millennial groups. However, as always food was excellent, especially the 4 starters we had and the simple spaghetti entree.
Fabulous dinner, service and location!
My all time favorite restaurant in Napa.
Food and service always exceeds expectations. We look forward to our visit every time we're in town.
Incredible! The food, the atmosphere, the service. Loved it!
My Dish was superb! I had the ragatoni rabbit au jus - pasta au dente. My friend had smoked salmon salad and she said it was dry. Another had meat bordelaise and she said it could’ve had more sauce. Warm bread with a delicious butter/cheese spread was great!
Service was slow...seemed like he had too many tables to serve well.
I’ve wanted to go to Bottega for years, and I finally made it for my 60th birthday. Fabulous from beginning to end. Loved the quartino sized wine. Perfect size! The burrata salad was amazing. Cauliflower was delicious. Spaghetti a la Sophia Loren was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer...in NC.
