This dinner was to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had reservations but arrived 45 minutes early and were able to be seated right away. Our server, Joey, was very helpful and answered our questions. Our cocktails were tres lychee martini and Negroni royale. We had the octopus appetizer, lamb ragu and beef cheek risotto for entrees and zeppole for dessert. Everything was delicious! We’ve enjoyed this restaurant several times before and will continue in the future.

So very disappointed. Had gone in 2016 and it was wonderful. This visit: Both items were over salted - big time - the arugula salad and the chicken dish too. The meatballs are 3 for $20. They are tiny and not great. So many other good places. Don’t waste your time or money.

I had very high expectations for Bottega. Overall, everything went beyond them. My partner and I chose to go here for an anniversary dinner and Bottega went out of their way to make it special, from a lovely card to a complimentary plate of little pastries reading, “Buon Anniversario!” in chocolate syrup. Complimentary bread was crusty and fresh, paired with a garlic parmesan spread. The appetizers we chose were phenomenal—a balanced bruschetta trio and perfectly cooked calamari with a charred meyer lemon and calabrian chili. I chose the Bear Flag Revolt to drink because the pomegranate bear sounded adorable, and it was! It was also a well balanced cocktail once the bear started to melt a bit. For our main, we shared the raviolo and gnocchi. Delicious but quite rich, we should have chose a lighter accompaniment with them. Lastly, the dessert knocked everything out of the park. In addition to the complimentary pastry plate, we ordered their tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake with creme anglaise and candied hazelnuts with a scoop of vanilla gelato. I would say that the dessert took a long time, but they did come out very fresh and were so, so good. The atmosphere was a bit too loud for my liking, but Bottega cannot help the wine drunk crowd here. Would definitely love to come back!

Our entrée’s were disappointing. Fish that was ordered, was dry due to being breaded? short ribs were on the too sweet side. Overcharge for an entrée that accompanied nothing else. Disappointing.

Nice dinner for 4. Issues with host/hostess station on arrival although we had made a reservation from 4+ weeks prior. Worked it out after 10 min wait. Service was okay, very loud table of 6 next to us and Chef and Su Chef kept coming to visit them and they were VERY LOUD. Interesting meal choices, bolognese was excellent, desserts were “meh”.

The restaurant was super busy, but the food was just bleh. Our salads were overdressed and had no taste and our entrees (with the exception of one) were just boring. Service was slooooow and mainly inattentive. I have been in the past and made it a point to come back but it seems to have gotten much worse, disappointing to say the least.

We enjoyed where we were sitting, outside on the "side" terrace. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Two of us ordered pasta dishes and they were lukewarm, which was disappointing. The bread was the star of the meal! Wondering what the "Coparto" charge was for, the bread or extra plates because we shared salads? It would be helpful to have updated online info regarding hours and menu price increases. I had to ask for another plate as the one at my place had a huge chip out of it. Sorry, not quite up to par.

Beyond amazing anniversary dinner! Everything we ordered tasted amazing, really good customer service, even at 9pm when the restaurant is closed. Full restaurant til 10pm on a Friday night. Food made quickly and my husband loved his beer. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious. Our table had the Fusilli with spicy tomato sauce, the giant ravioli and the bolognese. After Spa cocktail was refreshing. This place is hopping and loud. The price per portion is HIGH. I mean seriously, a cup of pasta and some tomato sauce for $24? Yountville 🙄

We requested outdoor seating at 5 pm (early) and were seated in Siberia. 😠 The yellow jackets were so bad I'm amazed nobody got stung. I won't go back, there are too many other great restaurants in Yountville to choose from. Sorry.

The outdoor area is lovely, however the music was way too loud. The portions have gotten smaller and the prices gone up—not a good combination. There should be some more substantial salads available at lunch as most of the dishes were too heavy for a mid-day meal in the heat. The staff were VERY slow—maybe focused on something else? 10 minutes for a glass of lemonade. Then 2 people were served and the others waited 10 minutes for their food. Very awkward (was a business lunch) not to mention the food of those served food was cold due to their waiting for everyone to receive their meal.

Usually a favorite we visit annually. I don't want to guess for any reasons it might be, but a definite downturn since last year. Portions smaller and incomplete. i.e.- Appetizers, Octopus one small little leg laid across three fingerling potatoes, also ordered the pancetta wrapped apricots, and was brought grilled peaches. When I asked if it was error, was told "we must me out of Apricots", and walked away. For main course I ordered the mixed seafood (Brodetto ai Frutti di Mare) the first ingredient listed was Cod. There appeared to not be a single piece in it. When asked server about this, he pointed to the tiniest little shaving and said "it's mixed in". Very disappointing. Also in dish was 2 whole shrimps, and one extra head. Did not separate, I looked. Just an extra head. The big block of toast/bread was room temp with ice cold sauce on top. Seamed out of place cold. Just not a good night for a place we look forward too. To end on positive note, the mixology was fantastic, and I ordered off menu a side of braised figs that were out of this world. I will try again when back next year in hopes of return to glory.

Great meal and night. The biggest issue is finding the place, the signage is close to a zero. Once we arrived everything was excellent. Service and apps 10, main course the fusilli and the vegetable lasagna an 8. Desert a 10.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here because we'd always wanted to dine at Bottega. Our waiter was amazing. The food was amazing. The ambiance matched it all. Still thinking about the Risotto and the wine. A must do for fine dining. Can't wait to go back.
