We went to dinner for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the minestrone soup appetizer, it was amazing! Our waiter Edwin went above and beyond to make my evening special. I can’t wait to go back!
Always consistent ..Saturday's are our favorite night with Drew the singing DJ.Food & service top notch.
Like the ambience but noise level very loud and not exactly a safe place to be during these times as tables are very close together. Mixed reviews on the food. Sicilian ribeye very fatty but pork chop delicious. Will try again to see if we can make better choices.
A freezing cold winter night, I requested a table next to the fireplace and wow! It was like a private home setting. Everything was fantastic and I can’t wait to return💫👌🏻
Love this restaurant but last night we got stuck in a side room where there was a patrician up to section off a birthday party - all men - that was very loud and ruined really intruded on our evening and experience. Food and service was great as always. Just wish they out that loud party in a private room.
My husband & I went to Bottagra on Saturday night for the first time and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Our waiter came by often to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. The service was amazing. So glad we did not get extra side dishes because I couldnt finish the veggies that came with the Filet Mignon which was the best Filet I have had in a long time. We will definitely go back again.
My lychee martini “Naughty Elf” was delish. We had the arancins as an appy & they were delicious! I had Veal Francase and the veal was like butter. My husband had Shrimp Scampi and enjoyed it but was a bit to lemony. The Italian Zeppoli’s for dessert were to die for! Will definitely go back!!
Fantastic meatballs and delicious potato and hot peppers! Generous portions..... only down side was the draft that kept coming in every time the front door wad opened...
Despite this, a great meal indeed....
We went on Christmas Eve.. We will be returning as we are very fond of the Food and Cocktails
I can't believe that this restaurant fries everything in one oil pot according to our waiter. My son has a shell fish allergy, so this made the menu very limited. We couldnt order arancini, fried calamari or chicken rollatini. We asked for an exception to have the food cooked separately but we were told no. Any other restaurants have never been an issue. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon and for the first hour of our meal we were literally the only patrons in the dining room. After about an hour three people came in and the one person told the waiter that she is vegetarian and he told her the same thing. That vegetables are fried in same oil As shell fish.
As far as the seven fishes dish, I believe it was over priced for the amount of fish that was in the plate.
The quality of the food was good.
Nice but bathroom was a mess.
Everything was great. Noise level was very high.
Hugo was our amazing waiter. He provided excellent service as did everyone else!!
Highly recommend. Everything was fantastic. From the minute we sat down to the minute we left to get our car. Food was great, service was great, ambience was cozy, comfortable and elegant.
Went to celebrate wife’s birthday on a Sunday evening. Called ahead a few days prior to make sure it would be a quiet night with no large events/parties. The restaurant assured me there were no large events on Sunday nights. We arrived to a see a large tent out front with a huge wedding reception and inside the entire indoor dining room was booked full for a huge party with a clubbing atmosphere. We were put in a small adjoining room sandwiched between the two events and treated to dueling baselines all night. Very disappointing…
We didn’t stay. We were seated between two
Large very loud parties. It was impossible to hear anything.
Very nice establishment. Very friendly. The Land and Sea meal was excellent. I’d prefer a choice of baked potato or mash.
Fun, active, festive yet noisy!
Horrible start to the night. Bottagra calls their guests to confirm reservations and wether you will be sitting inside or outside in their tent. I specifically said "absolutely inside". The woman on the phone said "but we have heaters and live entertainment outside". I said no thanks "we like being indoors." Fast-forward to the hostess stand. "Right this way" to the tent. I said please check again I requested indoor dining on open table and confirmed that on the phone call from the restaurant. After waiting a few minutes we were told that there were no more tables available inside. At almost 6:30 on a Saturday, alternative options weren't realistic. We reluctantly go to a table in the tent. We sit down and become aware of the noticeable declining pitch that the table and chairs are set on. Table wobbly, chairs slightly tilted. My wife has equilibrium issues and immediately let me know she was feeling off. Awesome. The hostess apologized and said she would "tell someone". The service was meh, I had to flag down the waiter after having an empty glass for 5 minutes. The bar and kitchen speed are pretty quick. Appetizers were fine. Drinks were good so kudos to the bartenders. Pasta was a little softer than I like but the sauce was good. We noticed the table next to us getting up and moving to a different table. An owner, assisting with the move saw me looking over and asked if everything was good. After hearing what had happened he asked if we wanted to move indoors and if there was anything he could do. Already situated, 2 courses and a couple of drinks down, in we stayed where we were. Entree's we're good. Desert was ok. Espresso and more drinks. Bill came, no adjustment. I mentioned that to the waiter and he came back with 2 drinks comped. This was the first time our experience wasn't up to par at Bottagra, out of the other many times we've been here.
The food was very good, so was the service. The atmosphere was great making it a fun experience. The prices are a little high, but overall it was a very good night out.
Overall great experience just felt a little rushed when asked to place order for appetizers and entree at same time.
The food is always amazing and the service is wonderful. I can't say enough about this place always a great meal it never disappoints. And an added surprise was the live music last night the guy was fantastic.
Excellent atmosphere, great ambiance, exceptional food
Food and service were great. Requested an indoor table and we were seated in a tent outside that was very cold. It was 40 degrees outside and the heaters they had just weren’t doing the job. My suggestion would be to get more heaters or honor the indoor seating reservation. It may be getting too cold to be having a tent outside for dining.
My first time there, everyone else in our party had been there before. We went for 3 birthdays. Great service, appetizers were great, dinner was good, desserts were amazing!! Cheese cake and peanut butter pie 😍. Staff was outstanding!!! We’ll definitely be back!!
We have been to Bottagra many times and it remains one of our favorite restaurants. Good drinks, great food and spot on service.
We all had a wonderful time and the Food was FANTASTIC!
Long time customers. Used to love this place, but since COVID it is all about Huge groups - inside & out. Loud, thumping music. Limited Menu - very reduced and quality of food is significantly less good. Hate the huge tables of 10 to 20 people. Most smaller tables 2 or 4 were empty. We now understand why. Will not return.
Food and service were excellent. We sat outside in their outdoor dining space and it was very comfortable considering it was a cold night. Wine and cocktail list very creative. Chocolate lava cake was a hit for the table. We will be coming back soon.
Keep up the good work !
Great food Great vibe
Will definitely be back
The ambiance was beautiful! Our food was amazing I got Blue Point oysters WOW, so fresh. Definitely will be returning.
We have eaten at Bottagra many times & loved it. Last night we went & it wasn't very good at all & since it is very pricey, we were very disappointed. The chicken in my chicken marsala was VERY tough. I had to ask for a steak knife to cut it! My friend ordered pasta bolognese (which she's had there many times) & it was extremely watery & disappointing. Plus it was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other talk. Needless to say we won't be going back there anytime soon!
Service was exceptional and the phone was delicious! Highly recommend.
The staff was very courteous and nice. The room was quiet and spaced apart and our waiter wore a mask at all times.
Calamari was delicious,
Entree's are a bit pricey and portions were ok.
Will return for special occasions.
The food and service was excellent as always!
A favorite place! ALWAYS get the spinach malfatti for an appetizer, it's soooo good. Everyone enjoyed their dinner but we did have to send a pork chop entree back because it was really dry and overcooked. The replacement was great but didn't have the fancy sweet potato puree (though it was still delicious). Staff was wonderful!
Food and drinks were amazing, great atmosphere but would’ve liked for our waiter was a little more attentive.
