It was really great! I forgot to tell of a food allergy and they fixed my food readily. I will go back.
We love taking out-of-town guests here, and the food is always great!
Decor and food was fantastic. I shared the mixed grill for two with my girlfriend and it was out of this world. The only complaint I had was they really try to get the most out of the space they have. Our table was in the middle of a busy walkway with servers and customers alike walking by and bumping into me and my girlfriend which was quite annoying.
Great tasting food. Portions are a little small. Great service. Don't reccommend eating outside as tables are way too close together with people walking by and the street close by. It's very distracting.
Enjoyed the great food and wine selection. Waitstaff was very knowledgeable about menu and wine selections. Good atmosphere.
Always excellent food. Happy hour prices for adult beverages is excellent! Service is always consistent as well.
The owners, Doved and Tammy Sexter have taken this resturant to another level. The food is consistently good as is the service. Saad, their certified trainer is an incredibly attentive server who has an innate understanding of the hospitality business. I am at Bosphorous at least once a week - I take clients and guests there for lunch or dinner. They always deliver delicious food, amazing service at fair prices (lunch menu is so well priced).
Great food. Great service
Great service and good food.
We have been here 5 or more times. Quite good, distinctive food at a fair price. Noisey, however. Service/attentiveness was also-ran this time.
Great food and staff. Can be very loud. Recommended.
Our waiter was excellent and very helpful with authentic Turkish suggestions
Celebrated my in laws anniversary. Service was amazing!
Had an amazing experience. Would eat there everyday if I lived there. Our server was a young Turkish man and he was awesome. Made it seem like we were back home in Germany. I would definitely recommend to try it.
Table was not ready at time of reservation. Half way through dining, manager came by to tell us their gas had shut off and that our entrée order had not been prepared. 10 minutes later we were told that it was back on. All and all not the best dining experience, but I would give it another try. Food was good once it finally made it to our table.
Wonderful food & drink! Authentic Turkish food! Unsurpassed service and attention to detail.
Excellent meal. We dined outside on the sidewalk, so noise was not an issue for us. They had several gluten free options, although we did have to look at the online menu for ease in finding them. I wish they would modify their onsite menu to be as accommodating. This was our 2nd visit. The 1st Time, we had a hummus platter, this time We had the lamb shanks, they were perfect. Would return again next time we are in the area.
This place is amazing and well worth the money! I love this place so much!
What a great experience!
The food is very good but very expensive. Atmosphere is cool to look at but crowded and noisy. Service was very good. The lavas bread that everyone talks about is 4.50 and is basically dry pita bread. And there are literally two bathrooms for the entire restaurant and there was a 10 minute line the entire time we were there. Was fun to try something new but we won’t be going back.
One of the best meals we have had!
Great. Love it
Bosphorous was wonderful, as always. With the cold weather, everyone was sitting inside but the wait staff handled the situation perfectly. The food never varies - it is always delicious.
Seating was in the entrance and the staff kept the front door open allowing uncomfortable outside weather to enter restaurant making our dining experience seem like an unpleasant picnic. The guests waiting to be helped were right on top of our party while we tried to converse and dine...extremely uncomfortable. Lavash bread was under-cooked and 5 of the 6 meals were brought out together with the 6th apologetically delivered a good 10 minutes later... not the best service for a hot meal. We’ve been here multiple times and even sat at the same table one other time but this day was not worth it at Bosphorous.
Service was good but the time between ordering and the food on the table was 1hr. Server said they were backed up but there were plenty of empty table.
Bosphorous was a great destination for a lovely Christmas dinner! the food was excellent--two of us had the salmon, another had a great chicken dish, and we loved the appetizers (calamari and baba ganoush). amazing bread. Service good and consistent, restaurant busy and a bit loud but still cozy enough to talk. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Have been here many times and will continue to return.
Went for Christmas Day evening. Great as always. Always busy and the service is timely also.
We went for Christmas dinner and had a fantastic meal, great service and tasty drinks.
Christmas plans changed so needed to dine out on Xmas night... was able to land a 6:15 reservation the day before. Obviously, most restaurants closed on Xmas so the place was packed. Despite the hectic vibe, the staff service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, made recommendations, checked on us or offered refills on every pass by the table. The manager also was friendly, making sure we felt comfortable with our table and the wait time, and even brought out the wine tasting flight (quite a nice presentation they do for that). They are proud of the Turkish wines and Turkish beers they have on their drink list.
The food was very good. My lamb dish was excellent. Wife's shrimp casserole was interesting -- more creamy & pasta than a casserole / rice dish as expected. Both dishes were served 'separated' where you could mix the entree/sauce into the rice or pasta as you liked, and they also checked on the spice level you wanted when you ordered.
Waiter made a good recommendation on our appetizer, suggesting a side order of tomato sauce for a dipping sauce for the Sigara Boregi we ordered. He was right, would have been a bit dry without it.
Dessert - 'Turkish pineapple delight' was a moist spongecake interlaced with pineapple slices. Came across as a pineapple upside down cake, without being too sweet or dry at all. And my wife tried Turkish coffee for the first time -- the espresso cup packing a power punch. Makes the morning coffeemaker pale by comparison. Very dark, thick and rich in flavor. Again, there was pride from the service both in us choosing to order it and when they delivered it.
It was definitely a good choice. First time for me for dinner. Had walked past during Sunday brunch time and saw it was always packed. Outdoor seating available for nice weather / fresh air too. Sits in the middle of the Park Ave area in downtown Winter Park, so good people watching. Dog friendly outside.
Great food, great service. A wonderful place to enjoy a authentic meal.
