Bosk, the signature restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto, brings to life ingredients harvested a la minute from a network of respected local suppliers. Diners can expect old-world cooking styles combined with contemporary ingredients, and served with genuine, caring service.

Bosk seats 80 diners, including private dining for up to 30 and a seasonal, outdoor terrace which wraps around the southeast corner of the building. In the summer months, the terrace offers table service for 40.

One word: superb. Service is attentive but unobtrusive. We enjoyed a meal of four courses each. All recommendations by our server were spot on. Definitely try the crab or caviar for the 1st course. The lobster and foie gras were immensely flavourful with a well rounded finish. Most moist yet cooked salmon main we have ever tasted. The milk and cookie dessert was both creative and balanced - the simplicity of the dessert's name does not do it justice. Just order it.

We enjoyed the calm atmosphere with the sounds of the live lobby bar music filtering in without being overpowering. Bosk definitely deserves to be on everyone's shortlist.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday at Bosk. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. They forgot to mention to our waiter that it was my wife’s birthday. When the dessert came out it didn’t come with a candle or Happy birthday written in chocolate, however, our waiter Anthony quickly rectified the issue and not only brought my wife another dessert with a candle, he also poured us complimentary champagne. Overall, I highly recommend Bosk to anyone.

Everything was amazing from ambience to food. I went with my girls for a dinner date and we were welcomed with a complimentary wine. Food was amazing with different pairings of wine. I loved every bit of it. Will be back soon

The best servers and the best food I’ve eaten so far, I’ve been to many other restaurants such as Canoe, Tundra, and Arriba. By far, this has been one of the best experiences so far.

Staff friendly and helpful. Met Yasmin, the Manager, and she was very concerned about our experience, to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and the food was delicious, which IT WAS. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends. Thank you, BOSK

Amazing food, excellent service.. portion size almost too big and unexpected but I still see that as delivering upon expectation! Good wine and beverage choices. Beautiful hotel.

Just a Heads up. There is a 2.50$ surcharge of water on the bill and they automatically add tip of 18% regardless of party size.

The food was great and the presentation was excellent. I ordered the Arctic char appetizer with duck as the main course and they both were done with perfection. The place did not disappoint me for my first visit. I will definitely come back another time.

Had a great benny brunch with bottomless mimosas. Brunch menu was straight-forward -- most of the cost seems to come from the mimosas, so I would recommend making the most of that option!

The food at brunch was very good but not spectacular. A little imagination required for healthier options that are still at a high level of presentation. Best part of brunch was the celeriac soup. Mimosas were good but could have been amazing if fruit purée used for the pineapple for example. Less options but real purée.
The cappuccino was extra, too expensive ($7), and not very good. The espresso was weak tasting or else the frothed milk was not in proportion. In any event I didn’t finish it. Had one at home afterwards on my Nespresso machine.

The service was wonderful from reception, to seating, serving all courses. Made to feel very special. Well cared for experience. Serving staff are well trained. Made the visit so pleasant.

So nice to have a cab hailedfor us by the doorman. Wonderful hotel.

On my niece's recommendation we came here for our anniversary. The restaurant is off the lobby bar which is very loud and busy. The restaurant was less busy on the night we were there and conversation was possible. The service was very attentive and friendly. My husband had the celeriac soup and the halibut, both of which he loved. I had the kale salad and the salmon. Also very good. The portions were not huge but were adequate.
We had dessert- the pudding. It was delicious. They had even written out on the plates "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate. When we received our bill, we were told that our dessert and coffee were gratis- to thank us for celebrating our anniversary there. Very special.
