Terrible service we had to wait for a table we reserved the hostess was rude while others with the same party size were being seated. Only one server in the bar area & he was too busy chatting up the customers instead of taking orders will never go there again with a client.

So lucky to have made a reservation during a busy weekend. This place is such a hidden gem. The secret pancakes and the fried chicken were delicious. The staff was super friendly. This was my 5th visit. The waiter with the big behind was a nice view too.

We love the Unlimited Brunch and have been at least 5-6 times since January. I think we're burnt out on the menu though. The food is always good. Never disappoints, but the service is hit or miss. The lady we got today was slow and impatient and didn't hide her emotions very well. The food came out in 40 mins intervals so we didn't get to order too much. Was super disappointed with our experience this particular time. Others times have been great though. Like I said... hit it miss.

Brandy was our server, and she was excellent! I would request to have her again if I was coming back. Ronnie was also awesome! The food is wonderful and unlimited small plates for brunch are delicious and you can try so many different foods! And bottomless mimosas are always a must in Vegas! I would recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Overall, the food was very good. I’m not sure if it’s Vegas but the friendliness of the wait staff just wasn’t there. Everyone seemed to be going through the motions and the service really needs to meet the food standard for a repeat - which I can’t say that I will return.

We came here for a late dinner after a show and had a table on the patio, which was lovely. Our server was gracious & attentive. Food was excellent! We had the special prime rib tacos, broccolini, street corn, and plaintains. I would definitely come here again and order all of these!

We sat on the outdoor terrace overseeing the Mandalay Bay beach pool area at night. The pool area was closed so it was pretty quiet and relaxing. It was a very nice view as the pools and surrounding grounds, with all the palm trees, are all beautifully illuminated. The temperature was very pleasant and allowed us to escape the standard Vegas A/C for a nice dinner time. For dinner, the two of us started with freshly made guacamole, then followed with the Baja ceviche tostada, duck carnitas, caramelized plantains and nopales salad (cactus). Everything was delicious and fresh. We have lived in Arizona for over 20 years and this is one of the finest Mexican restaurants we have been to. Some dishes like the duck carnitas are definitely innovative and not traditional Mexican, but overall the food was superb and with decent prices for the quality. Highly recommended.

Mandalay Bay website shows a picture gallery for the food at Border grill which according to the manager 3 of the items are no longer available. The food was chewy, the server was arrogant and slow. We won’t go back.

Friendly, attentive server, and very pleasant to sit outside. I was undecided btwn the Steak Tacos and the Fish Tacos; my server recommended the Fish and I went with that. Plate was nicely presented and my first bite was encouraging, but once I bit into the fish I was disappointed, as it was dry and flavourless. I had to load on the (mild) hot sauce provided on the side to make it okay. Guess I should have had the Steak. Menu is appealing so may try again but this first time was a disappointment (first disappointment after having eaten in four other restaurants in Mandalay/Delano).

Always make a point of coming to Border Grill every time I stay at either Mandalay Bay or Delano. Made a reservation (highly recommended) and was seated on time. The food menu IS NOT your typical Mex or Tex-Mex food faire and the bar offers a next twist of several drinks.

Mercury is definitely in retrograde because I’m surprised how one of my favorite Vegas restaurants has gone way down hill. I used to love coming here with every visit to Las Vegas. No more. It started with my interaction with the hostess who completely ignored us as she was putting food in her mouth and talking to her walk-ie talkie device. Even though we had reservations we were escorted to a tiny corner half booth where neither myself or my mom (who was celebrating a special occasion) would be comfortable. After asking if we could be seated to a table we were escorted to a table. Our server, Katie almost immediately came to take our order as if we were in some type of race to the finish. I’m so disappointed in the service. It felt rushed and felt as if we were an imposition on her. Excited for the lomo saltado as I am from Peru and what came was just tasteless and bland and FULL of oil. We didn’t ask for anything to be taken off the bill and I appreciated that she did take the lomo off the bill but had she checked in on us after we started eating I would have gladly ordered something else but because she didn’t come to the table for a long while I didn’t think it was worth trying something else. No dessert for us this time. The plantain empanadas were delicious though. Not sure I will come back and it’s a shame. I used to love this place.

This was the best food we had in Las Vegas. The free appetizer was fresh chips with 3 types of unique and tasty salsas. We also had the queso fundido with carnitas that was excellent. Our entrees were the chicken poblano enchiladas and carne asada quesadillas. The enchiladas were a small plate but were wonderful. The quesadillas were a large portion. The service was outstanding and we enjoyed the whole experience. Indoor/outdoor seating with booths and low top tables. Full bar. Cloth napkins that are shined by wait staff. Secretly located in South Mandela Bay near the the shark reef. Reservations recommended. I will definitely return.

We filled up on three shared appetizers, one side and two drinks each. My wife loved the plantain empanadas. Four were included in the order. The guacamole starter was terrific. There was no cilantro as we requested. Thank you Mike! The grilled rainbow cauliflower was delicately spiced and delicious. The four fish/shrimp tacos were very good. Unfortunately the cilantro was not deleted so my wife was unable to eat them. We had just enough room left for the coconut flan which was very good and larger than we expected. The sangria and margaritas went down all too easily. Tasty! We appreciated the lack of smoke odor so common in casino restaurants. We highly recommend the Border Grill.
