Wednesday evening and it was very busy so the host could not respect the reservations and we sat with 35mins delay. Not great!
Birthday dinner was amazing. Kendal our waitress was amazing and so friendly. Was extremely accommodating for our gluten free and vegetarian friends
Great tapas, paella, and Spanish wine. Very noisy in the evening.
love this place always have a delicious time when I come to Boqueria :)
You will enter a pretty noisy restaurant, sometimes too much but fair given it was a Saturday night. The food was good but overpriced. Good service overall, reactive staff.
Service was wonderful, and they were incredibly careful about my gluten allergy. They also sent over a special dish to try with sherry as I had never had sherry prior to this occasion.
Great food, great service, just a little pricey!!
Food was beyond delicious! Great service! Must have reservations
So why did I downgrade the service, which was excellent? Not the server's fault, but the management. I booked a table for 7, and was told once we were seated that we had to have the chef's tasting menu. If I was told that ahead of time I would have called to change that, since we had a person at the table who flat out wouldn't do that. The rest would. So there was angst, the server had to check, all of that a waste of time (we have been to their other restaurant on the UES, wasn't told that, and in fact, the chef's tasting was offered but not required. Once that was out of the way, everything was great.
The restaurant was too loud for my taste, but the food was terrific, and the servers did know what they were doing. I've loved food in Spain, and frankly, the patatas bravas were the best I ever had, including Madrid and Barcelona. They were that good, and the house serrano jamon was also first rate, on a rival with much of Spain. That's high praise, and I don't grant that easily. By the time the (truly great) paella came, we were already stuffed.
The cuisine and service at Boqueria Soho are fine. We love the blistered shishito peppers and their Paella. The wine list is also really interesting, especially the "Aging Gracefully" section of red wines. Be forewarned, however, that in the evening, this place is crowded and L-O-U-D. Diners are packed in like sardines, and the sardines have to lean forward to have any sense of conversation.
Loved this place so much! Amazing food was with a group, they easily accommodated. We got a ton of food on the chef’s menu!
Great place in Soho to meet up with friends. We loved it!!!
great food and value in a buzzing environment, one of the best tapas restuarants in NYC, the sangria is smooth and easy
Second time here. Two for two. Plates are on the larger side for tapas, which I’m not complaining. Good drinks. Overall solid go to. Priced just right.
Our daughter took us there on a recent visit to New York, and it was so good that we brought some friends a few days later. The food was great, the service likewise - highly recommended!
Always noisy and busy but with a rez, you always get seated right away.
DELICIOUS food. Super-sweet staff - attentive enough, without being invasive. There is a reason this place is always full - thanks guys!
The food was delicious and plentiful! We were full all day! The sangria was tasty and flowing! The choros were such a fun addition!
Very fun atmosphere. There were a lot of gluten free choices that were really good. Our server was great! The background music is fun but not too much.
Had Boqueria Special - all selections were excellent! Great Sangria and service! Will definitely be coming back!
Food was Great and outstanding service!
Great Vibe, Waiters were awesome. Food was average.
Food, drinks and service were all excellent but even for New York, the prices are way too high for the portion sizes.
Had a great time here. For tapas and paella, you can’t do much better. The atmosphere was good especially for a group of 12. Highly recommended!
Food and service were great. They have jammed so many tables into this place it’s absurd. Patrons are practically sitting on each other. They also had only 1 restroom operational! How can a place that seat 100+ (my guess) only have one restroom? The wait for the restroom was silly and annoying.
Great food & drinks!
Excellent as per usual.
Amazing food and service! Staff friendly and beautiful place. Red sangria was unbelievable good!
Great service. Quality food.
I admit I’m spoiled to have lived in Spain. Though, I wasn’t impressed by the tapas at Boqueria. Overpriced and not really that special. The $12 mocktail I got was basically just orange juice.
Always a genuine pleasure to dine here. Best staff in Soho!
Rica comida , bien atendidos, alto precio para tapas y demás
Even with a reservation we had to wait ~15 minutes for our table - but, they treated us to a complimentary round of cava in return. Food was good but not the best tapas in the city and came out in an odd order. Kind servers and good overall vibe.
Our server was incredible and the food was delicious! Definitely coming back more often.
Great date spot, the jámon iberico with an overeasy egg over crispy potatoes was phenomenal. Would definitely return
Ordered tapas which were just fair in comparison to tapas I've had elsewhere in NY. Very cramped space.
Both small toilets were filthy!!
Overall great brunch experience! Chose the bottomless and family style food option! The portions were very generous and the food was great!
The reservation was on time, no waiting time which I love! Tapas were so delicious, however the batatas bravas were a dissapointment. I've had them at Sangria 71 and i thought it was better there. Sangria was so good but I definitely think it could taste better. Overall, i enjoyed it with my family and friends.
Amazing for brunch! Went here with four girl friends. The brunch feast is a must! Great value and great service.
