Delicious Food and great spot for a birthday dinner for large groups.
I feel as though I was tricked. At first glance it seems like a decent restaurant. 30 mins in I realized it was essentially an Applebee’s with a Spanish twist.
Great place! I bit tight! But excellent! (Pre-covid)
Great food and atmosphere. Don't go on a night when you don't plan on eating Dessert because the Churros are too good to pass up!
Service by Jose Manuel was exceptional !!!! The chef menu experience was super delicious. The turrón was an amazing end to our dining experience!!
Excellent food , great service and good drink options
Our server was excellent, and gave us his honest opinion on the menu items. Everything was delicious. Weirdly, the eggplant dish he recommended may have been my favorite thing. The dulce de leche stuffed churros also did not suck. Washed it down with a pitcher of sangria. Not a bad way to spend a date night.
I took my sister in law who is visiting for a good night out and we splurged by ordering the boqueria experience special menu. I can assure it was not an experience at all and for 60usd pp definitely not worth it. The paella tasted very gamy and overall we left with a not great so great experience.
Super friendly service. Delicious Tapas. Shrimp is delectable!!
Always a great atmosphere and great food.
Great food and service. We had to wait for 15 mins after our reservation time to be seated but the wait staff gave us free Prosecco to apologize. Great restaraunt and even better service.
Everything was perfect! The experience made for a very good 1st date! Thanks for everything!
Great food and location! We've been to a couple different Boqueria locations, as well as other locations, and this one in Soho is our go to.
Good: Came with a largish group (9) and was promptly seated. Main server was very courteous and prompt.
Not good: with group dining, you had to order a prefix option. No one was given any info on what the menu included. Multiple staff members were clearly not trained and kept placing multiples of the same dish at the same spot on the table (so no one else could reach)
Very poor: the wait in between dishes. My goodness the poor chefs were so overwhelmed.... there were easily 20 minutes wait between the more substantial courses. To the point that no one was hungry anymore just halfway through the meal. We also waited 10 minutes for dessert and then gave up on it because it took so long.

Great food, friendly waitress. Loved it.
Loud, cramped and pitiful portions for a 120 dollar meal.
Boqueria Soho is the go-to meeting place for my friends and me - every two months. At our last visit we went early (5:45) and sat immediately. Our server was really sweet and made great wine recos. He was patient when we kept chatting and were never ready to order. We had patatas bravas, shrimp, dates and the endive salad. Everything was delicious. Wish we saved room for churros / next time!
I had a great experience during my last visit at Boqueria. 5 of us met up for my birthday and we had a large comfortable table. The waiter was great and gave us excellent wine and dish recommendations. The manager even sent over sparkling wine for all of us with our dessert !
Vegetarian heaven! We had the spinach, eggplant and salad. All were good portions and cooked to perfection. I wish they had a recipe book! Also, the hostess was wonderful. She honored our seating request. I really appreciated that.
You can have a good conversation with a friend and not feel that other people are too close.
Enjoyed the tasty tapas and the sangria. It was fun eating.
The food was outstanding! Definitely recommended. Only minus was the lack of service, waited almost thirty minutes to order and the restaurant was almost empty.
Disappointing! As a Spanish food lover I always like to go to different Spanish spots to try their food and this was a miss. Came for a brunch with my partner and the food was not it. It was salty, mushy and just didn’t taste good.
The apps- The patatas bravas were super greasy and not big on flavor, instead they were drenched with the mayo dressing they out on top, the meatballs were still pink inside (gross), the torta was bland, the croquettes were the best app but even they weren’t anything mindblowing.
For the mains we got the shrimp scrambled eggs and the eggs were pretty runny, so it was a very basic dish. Nothing special.
We also got the huevos on chorizo, again the chorizo could’ve been cooked more as the taste didn’t sit well in our mouths. I thought it was impossible to mess up fries but this place did it. They were crispy in a bad way and were another item that was bland.
The churros were okay. Overall the food was just too greasy, bland, and in instances not cooked properly.
The drinks were decent but yea, will not be returning to any locations this restaurant has.
Best bottomless brunch!
First time at this location (we normally go to Flatiron). Food and service were impeccable as expected. The noise level was a bit high to hear conversation across the table, but my ears aren't that great, so you'll probably be fine!
Perfect spot for a post work drink and Nosh. Vibrant atmosphere but not too loud to hear. Incredible cocktails and tapas with wonderful service to guide you through the menu. Will be returning often!
First time there and I Loved the food!
Kitchen was off, and slow. Portions have been reduced since our last visit.
Overall ok experience love the potato’s bravas
Great food and service here. I suggest you make a reservation as place seemed full even on a normal Tuesday evening. Bar area was all occupied when we arrived at 6 PM. Food was exceptional and our waiter Emerson made good suggestions and recommendations. Will certainly come again
Amazing brunch feast, one of the best deals in the city
Service was friendly but a little off. Ordered a bottle of wine that took over 20 min to be brought over. Wasn’t chilled enough and had to be sent back.
Food came quickly, but wasn’t impressive.
Everything was just ok. Nothing that made me want to come back, but also nothing that made me say I wouldn’t.
Went for brunch and the tapas were the perfect portions! The restaurant cooks the tapas according to how many people are dining at the table to ensure everyone is full. The food was flavorful and our waitress made sure our drinks were never empty. They had a nice variety of brunch cocktails to offer. The restaurant itself was very clean. It was also helpful that they were able to make some dishes vegan friendly as one of our friends is vegan. Seemed to have no problem putting certain sauces on the side and etc. Would definitely recommend!
I was dying for some Spanish food and was extremely excited when we got seats at the chef's table/bar. We ordered the chef's menu $60 pp and got a boring tapas selection valued way under $120 for two: nothing stood out except the squid ink fideos which we specifically asked for. The bartender was apathetic at best and did not seem concerned with our experience; we were celebrating a birthday and did not even get a smile from her. The ambiance was lovely but otherwise, I'm looking forward to trying a different tapas experience in Manhattan instead next time.
Fun vibe, a bit loud and service took a bit long but still really fun and casual
Consistently good food and excellent happy hour deals. Love coming here for a quick snack or bite.
The place is ideal for Friday/Saturday going out with friends. Very cool atmosphere, tasty food, great service. We enjoyed every minute of our evening. Will come back for lunch as well. 👍
Food was great! Dinner was pretty affordable. We got a meat and cheese plate, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, cauliflower and steak, on top of 2 pitchers of sangria and it came out to $70/person for three people. Definitely recommend.
Food was mediocre at best. It seemed like everything we ate had been cooked in advance and reheated. Very salty. In particular, the paella and chicken so disappointing . We had the tasting menu (chef’s experience) and there was nothing special about the experience.
Weekend train schedule delayed my arrival. And upon my check-in at the restaurant, my reservation was canceled either by the system or by the host.
Host was really up-right and unfriendly. Everybody else was ok. The waiters and waitresses during dinner time are definitely way more friendly than those during brunch time.
That’s my only unpleasant part of the experience.
