'Meh' would be a good summation of my experience there. The food quality is not worth the price. Go somewhere else.
Excellent Catalonian-style food. Rivals the Barcelona dishes we had last summer! Highly recommended!
What you advertised as a Thanksgiving Feast was not. The turkey was from a turkey roll not a roasted turkey. The waiter was horrible. I had to wait a half hour to order a drink. Dinner wasn't served until 9pm. My reservation was for 8pm.
Excellent environment great service and food! We loved it!
Food was amazing. Everything was delicious. Worth the price very reasonable.
Everything’s was really good. Favorite place.
Favorite restaurant in the city.
Boqueria is amazing. I had a show to catch and the server ensured that all items were dispatched on time and preparatory information was provided. The Latin music was pleasant and added to the ambiance. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and would come back again.
amazing food, cozy but modern aesthetic. I'll definitely be back!
Kicked off Girls Weekend 2019 with lunch at Boqueria. Found a nice Priorat on the wine list and went to town on the tapas (a benefit of having 5 people to share!) Everything was delicious and the servings were plenty to share among 5 people. The pan con tomate on the Tabla de Quesos was garlicky and delicious. Pimentos de padron were plentiful, perfectly blistered and salted. Order the Escalivada for the bread alone - it's soft and pillowy. Patatas bravas were crispy and the garlic aoli was the perfect complement. The croquetaas and albondigas were both tasty as well. Our server was very knowledgable about the food and was there when we needed him without being overbearing. Atmosphere was lovely. (I've been to the Boqueria on 40th and found it to be crowded - this one is cozy).
Was great! Food was delicious. Especially lamb skewers
Food is delicious, service is generally good
Excellent service - very attentive, welcoming and friendly. Great food
Perfect birthday brunch!
The food was amazing and the staff incredible! Has a wonderful birthday!
7 people. Chef’s selection. Mostly good except the paella, which sucked. Dessert, the last course, took forever even after telling the server we were running out of time. So noisy, you can’t hear what someone is saying across the table unless they shout...
Coming back from a trip from Spain last month, we wanted an authentic experience. And we got it!
Loved this place. The food, the ambiance, the service..everything was excellent! The only critical feedback is the bathrooms could be cleaner. Other than that we enjoyed the experience, will definitely come back.
Terrible!! Never got a server within 15 to 20 minutes. Walked out.
Loved it. It is always consistently good! Definitely loud for a Thursday night so if you want quiet, go elsewhere..
We arrived at 5:45pm for an early dinner. So the restaurant was not crowded and the noise level was very low which is important for my husband who has hearing issues. The acoustics are good and as the restaurant filled up the noise level remained good. The meal was spectacular. We had wild mushrooms and olives and the special appetizer. We ordered the medium sized paella at the recommendation of the server and it was the perfect size for the two of us and we had some left to take home. (We are not big eaters) The rice was cooked the proper way with a slow absorption of the fluids and spices. There was a generous amount of seafood - mussels, clams, shrimp, squid. The service was excellent. Our server gave advice when requested and we found everything to be excellent. We will definitely go there again.
Awesome! Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
Great meal- super nice server.
Great restaurant! I was a little surprised when we got the check.... it was more expensive than I had originally realized. Overall, highly recommend!!!!
I want for the 2-hour bottomless brunch and there were two menus. We chose the tapas menu. 4 types of appetizers. The lamb meatballs and the potatoes were my absolute favorite. I started to get full by the second course (the brunch paella) but it was so good that I had to eat it. Last was the dessert and we chose the churro sundae. It was to die for. I will 100% be back next weekend.
The flavors were amazing. Our server really helped us to choose items we loved.
Waiter forgot to order my paella and we waited two hours for it. He then didn’t apologize and actively avoided the table while we waited. Then the manager came over when I waived to her and tried to resolve the problem so we waited another twenty minutes for paella with no soccarat because they rushed it.
Amazing authentic Spanish food. After living in Barcelona for five years, I brought my mom here for a girls Friday lunch to sample some Spanish tapas and wine. We opted for the bacon-wrapped dates (YUM!), sample platter of cheeses and meats, octopus, and tortilla española (AMAZING!). Super happy I decided to take my mom here- it was a great nostalgic trip back in time! I would definitely recommend!
The food is delicious! The kale salad was wonderful with perfectly cooked hangar steak. My husband loved the burger. My mom who is incredibly picky really enjoyed the lamb meatball bowl. Make reservations and eat early. They rum out of some dishes. The service was great and the ambience is energetic.
The website said they were doing their weekend brunch on the holiday Monday- Columbus Day. This is the reason why I booked it. I got there and they said they usually do it but their “kitchen wasn’t equipped.” It was frustrating because I specifically looked for this on the website and they said it was happening.
Great tapas! The Potato Bravos was delicious! Sangria too! We had a party of five so thankfully we made a reservation in advance so we could reserve one of the two larger tables located at the back of the restaurant. Otherwise you are pretty much packed in like sardines. We had a fantastic dinner and will definitely be back.
I take everyone here that visits the city. Great food and such a cool dining area/open kitchen
Great food. The brunch special is an amazing deal. $42 for 4 tapas, 2 regular sized brunch items, a dessert and bottomless sangria. Nice ambiance. My only complaint is that the bathroom was pretty dirty.
If you are more than 6 persons a fixed menu of USD 50 or USD 70 applies.
Always a good time in this place
good was great, service was little slow and it was noisy.
Bit crowded and loud but lovely food
