Best spot for brunch , and the unlimited option was worth it!
BEST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH I HAVE EVER HAD
Amazing food as always! Love it here. Patatas bravas are the best!
Food great as per usual but the service was inattentive.
Got sat at 11am for brunch but didn't get an order in till around 11.30am. It was if the kitchen wasn't quite ready and the wait staff were told to avoid us.......the only people in there at that time.
Drinks took a long time to order and receive too.
Once food starting arriving it was the only time we could get the wait staff's attention. Some closer pro-active attention was required for, water, extra orders etc.
Great venue and ambience with excellent food, but always pricey.
The least appealing of my several visits due to service but still enjoyable.
I loved it here! You MUST try the croquettes, you’ll die they’re so delicious. Perfect sharing sizes, waiter was so professional and sweet (John). Took my bf here for a birthday dinner, it’s a little loud but if you’re enjoying conversation and wine/cocktails then it’ll fade. Love it.
Food was plentiful but light enough where you weren’t stuffed by the time your entree hit the table . We did the unlimited
I know it is a chain of sorts, but they execute the concept so very well. My only niggle would be that the wait staff is moderately aggressive in trying to upsell your food orders.
A little slow getting us seated but I’ll let it slide—this place never disappoints!
Food is just incredible! Consistently excellent every time! Highly recommend!
Celebrated a birthday here with a small group of 6. We had the prefixed brunch menu which was very tasty! The portions are adequate but not too much as there are 4 appetizers, 2 mains and a choice of dessert. We switched between the mimosas and red wine sangria which were both great. It's a little packed during brunch but that's because the food and presentation is so good. Not to mention the service was phenomenal.
Great food and service. A little tight as far as seating always getting bumped if sat on isle. And way to loud could not here yourself think
Restaurant was cramped - we were seated at the family-style table in the middle of the restaurant and kept getting bumped into by people at the bar/walking to the back of the restaurant. Other than that (which really detracted from the experience/cozy ambiance of the place), food and service was pretty good.
Very attentive waiter who made delicious recommendations. Great staff.
Boqueria is a go to when I have friends visiting!
I've been to La Boquería in Soho a few times, but this one is apparently the original. It's a little less cramped than the Soho location, with a very similar menu. The only problem we had is that the tapas orders get slow when the place crowds up; we had to pester our server several times for a plate that was delayed an hour after we ordered. No mind, he comped us for it.
The place is noisy, and tables are close, but the menu is a good mix of traditional and creative tapas. Sangría helps with the detractors. Good for special occasions.
This is a great tapas place, you won't be disappointed. I'm giving it 4 stars simply because I've been to other places where I've enjoyed the menu and the venue much more than this one. I gave 5 stars to the stuff for accommodation and attention.
I'll definitely will be back.
Really fun, good service, outstanding Margarita and wine list, but tables are just too crowded. We made a reservation well in advance, but were at a communal table with high traffic. Sometimes adding in those 3 extra tables is just too much.
The food and drinks were good and the service was excellent!!
It’s a little too cramped, servers and people walking by kept bumping into my chair.
It wasn’t worth it for us to try. Simply Overrated.
Food was good and service was fast. Very loud.
The manager, Tom, was amazing! I had requested a booth due to my back issues, and although we originally did not get seated in a booth, I spoke to him before I realized he was the manager and he did everything he could to accommodate us asap in a booth area so I would have back support and could sit through dinner. The service was great and they were very attentive with any dietary allergies as well. Because of that service, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Also, the food was super YUMS!
Pop up for party of 6 or more wasn’t notice and made initial sitting down very uncomfortable
Brunch was good
Loved the restaurant, easy to book, our table was immediately available when we arrived, service was fantastic. Good absolutely stunning. Loved every moment of dinner here.
My wife and I were looking forward to a special representation of Spanish tapas. We were both disappointed. The dishes we ordered were uninspired and the quality of the ingredients, for example the shrimp, was a lower grade than we were expecting. The very loud background music was also a negative for us.
Having just been to Barcelona I was looking forward to a tapas authentic Spanish restaurant and found it here! Everything was amazing and we look forward to going back including the desert
Have been here many times with friends to sample and share tapas. Food is always delicious, but prices have been creeping up over time, especially on the fantastic white Sangria pitcher. This visit on a Thursday afternoon was especially noisy for some reason. The wrapped dates are a must-order plate. I dream about them!
The service was more than excellent as always. The waitress was really nice and attentive.
Tortilla Española w/ Pan Con Tomate and Olives absolutely delicious.
Their version of Gambas al Ajillo or Shrimp is perhaps one of the best I tried in Spanish restaurants. It's very flavorful and you can taste in the oil the garlic and the wine and they add peppers which gives it a kick, very simple but very complex in terms of flavors. The rustic bread it comes with has been a long time favorite of mine.
For dessert on brunch, their french toast has become another favorite of mine. It is very crispy on the outside and it comes with dulce de leche on top and some caramelized fruit.
The service here was phenomenal! Had a great dinner and even complimentary dessert on the house.
Typically the first place my wife and I hit when coming into the city Never disappoints. Even got to sit next to Gerard Butler this time. Great espresso to cap off dinner. I’m very picky with my coffee
Food is good and prix fixe menu is fairly priced. Sangria is excellent.
Nice little spot for some tapas and spanish cuisine. Paella was delicious, though i wish they had black ink paella on the menu. The grilled pulpo was alright, it was overcooked and tough. But overall good experience.
Great for brunch
Boqueria has the authentic menu you’d find in the streets of Madrid. Wonderful menu options, prices are a little overpriced but the food is amazing so well worth the cost. The restaurant gets extremely crammed and isn’t the best for an intimate dinner. Overall great for a social outing.
We loved everything ate and always enjoy sampling many different dishes. Some stand outs were the shrimp and the spinach with raisins and nuts.
I was a frequent patron here some years again when I lived around the corner and always enjoyed the food for its authenticity, thoughtful preparation, quality of ingredients, vitality of the seasonings and good value. Sadly no longer. Also our weekday lunches took 40 minutes to arrive at the table. Wound up doggy bagging to get back to the office. Manager cheerfully apologized but made no attempt at a peace offering. A glass of wine, a churros, maybe? Not forthcoming. Too bad. Won’t be back.
It was loud, very expensive and pretentious. Even the waiters seemed bummed!
So authentic I actually cried. (I had previously spent a significant amount of time in Spain)
Service was great. Thanks so much!
Loved it! Everything we ordered was delicious and our waitor gave great recommendations. The nutella churros are a must. Will be back soon!
