Loved the dates wrapped in bacon, the Escalivada, and the Turrón. The patatas bravas were "take it or leave it", and you get more beans than calamari on the Calamares plate. Good spot for a date or special occasion.
We had reservations for 7:30 on Saturday, and were a little early, but were seated right away. The atmosphere was bright and energetic, but welcome. I do not know his name, but our server was lovely and attentive. Our party of 2 ordered the tasting menu with Iberian ham and some cocktails, and were very excited. The food itself was delicious, but the timing of the tasting menu was very disappointing. They basically brought out all of the food (minus 2 small tapas plates) within 6 minutes of each other, leaving little room on the table, or for us to fully enjoy each tapas. The communication must have been off, because they also brought us 2 sets of potatas bravas. The meal felt very rushed and hurried, and we felt that the pace of the meal didn't allow us to fully enjoy the experience. It's a shame considering we were looking forward to a leisurely evening of food and drinks. Will think twice before returning.
Disappointing, the food was flavorless, most of the seafood seemed to have been frozen. The service was not attentive.
We honestly had the best time. I took my sister and mom there and we shared everything and had a few great cocktails. Our server was AWESOME and made all the right suggestions. The food came quickly and consistently too which was great!
I love this place. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and it’s such a fun place to be.
I love this place, been here many times and highly recommend it. The only thing that bothers me is that loud music. It's like this all over America to be fair, but usually in bigger restaurants, chains like Cheesecake factory and places like that. I really don't think it suits Boqueria to play the music so loud, I literally had to yell everything I wanted to say, even the waiter had to repeat herself a couple of times only cus we couldn't hear her (when she stood right beside our table!)
Other than that...GREAT!
We went for a fun date night during our weekend trip to NYC. It is a fun atmosphere with great tapas! The sangria was amazing!
We had a full meal and after we finished which was after about an hour and forty five minutes we were asked to leave to make place for a new reservation. I have never had such a bad and rude experience. the request came from the manager on duty.
Small but cozy, good food but really noisy
The ambiance is wonderful and the staff is exceptionally efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Above all, the dishes we selected were fresh and delicious. They really stimulate the taste buds!
It was a great Boozy Brunch - the food, the Sangria Blanca and the server made sure our glasses were always full!!! Definitely recommended
Food was great. Place was packed at the time so service suffered a bit, but still acceptable.
Everything's so great except for the noice. My throats even hurts after 2h lunch
Had the chefs menu as we were 9 people. Great selection of 8 tapa dishes along with paella and desert for a great price! Everything was extremely tasty. Be prepared to do a longer dinner as the dishes are many in quantity and are brought to the table one at a time so that you can enjoy each dish.
This is a super amazing authentic Spanish tapas place!!!! The service is fantastic and every dish is great. We went twice in the last month and ordered the tasting menu both times. Not a single mediocre dish came out. Try the special sangria!!
We've been to the Upper East Side location before and loved it, and the Flatiron one is very similar. Great food, very cozy. Sometimes gets a little loud and you should make a reservation in advance, otherwise you can wait for space in the bar area in a first-come-first-serve-basis. Sangria pitcher was delicious but very weak (I had 3 glasses and walked home perfectly fine). Best dish are the croquettes!
Food is amazing!!!!!!!!!!
From beginning to end we had a wonderful experience, great food, drink. sercice and atmosphere!
Great place to share a business meal. The tapas menu has lots of variety and the quality was excellent. Service was wonderful - prompt, attentive and exceedingly nice. The wines are delicious and my guest really enjoyed the sangria. This was my second time, first was for lunch. Both visits were great and I highly recommend this place for work or social entertaining.
