Absolutely wonderful, best tapas is the USA. Patatas bravas were amazing, and worth a visit for these alone.
Chairs are uncomfortable, and noise level is too much for conversation, but food is too good to pass up.
The food was excellent. The choices on the menu, abundant. Drinks were delicious. Went with a couple co-workers after work. Very enjoyable.
Delicious food. All of our food was amazing...except the desserts, which were pretty crappy, to be honest. A half-cold, half warm, and poorly baked crema Catalina, and about 3x times the appropriate amount of cream on a cake. Desserts were a major letdown after the phenomenal appetizers and entrees.
Just loved all the dishes/tapas we had and loved our waiter and the timing of the service.
It was so so loud though— hard to even hear people next to you. A fun vibe there but they have to figure out how to improve the sound. A bit!
We’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Food is amazing and service is excellent. Must try the patatas bravas, lamb skewers, and shrimp with garlic.
This place was happening. Pretty full the entire time we were there for 2.5 hours on a Saturday night. Make sure to get a reservation. The place is small. The food is excellent. The prices are on the higher side, however I do realize this is in line with other upscale foodie tapas restaurants. Noise level was pretty high because it was so crowded. However at our table we were able to hear each other okay.
Fantastic food and great portion sizes. My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and it was a fantastic place to eat and actually be full after a tapas dinner!
Food was excellent but comes out whenever chefs feels like it, no rhyme or reason. I would not have chosen to start my meal with a bowl of patatas bravas. Our waiter wanted to take our food order before we even got our drinks so we felt a little rushed. Very noisy so we had to yell. Sangria is delicious.
Love Boqueria! Great place to gather with friends for a delicious shared meal. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the sangria is to die for. I definitely recommend giving Boqueria a try
Good food, but really too loud for conversation. Amazingly uncomfortable stool seats try to pitch you forward out of your seat.
The seafood paella is one of the best I've tried so far in the Chelsea neighborhood. Tapas are always delicious there either as appetizers or as the main course. I tried that night:
• Tortilla Española (They had a special with chorizo and scallions). It was amazing.
• Pan con Tomate is always a hit.
• One of the best dishes is the "Gambas al Ajillo" in my opinion. For some reason, their version of the famous Spanish dish is absolutely fantastic. I'm not sure if it's the wine they use, but it's amazing. And the rustic bread that it comes with is excellent too.
• Crema Catalana is one of their best (if not the best) dessert at Boquería. It has tan tangy / lemony flavor that you normally don't get in other versions of this dish. It is absolutely delicious!
I had been at this restaurant many times before and had never been disappointed. Unfortunately this experience was not memorable one. It was our anniversary and the staff gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate. But besides that sweet gesture there was nothing else that impressed us. The first thing we noticed was that our waiter smelled. It was extremely noticeable and unpleasant. I was saddened to find out that my favorite dish had been discontinued. We ordered the dátiles which are usually a crowd favorite. All we could taste was the cheese. It was such an overpowering flavor that it took away from every other ingredient. The Pan con Tomate was a hit. The meatballs were mediocre. The octopus was the most delicious item that we ordered. I ordered a watermelon sangria but had to send it back because it was gross. Ended up having the Vodka Mule which was delicious. I wish I could say our experience was better. We were sadly disappointed.
wonderful service and food! am a regular! always come back freequently
Excellent food. Great service. Cannot wait to return
The food was excellent- especially the calamares, but the service was pretty horrendous.
Noise level was too loud and it was difficult to have a conversation.
The food here is excellent, and with a party of 6+ they do a fantastic chef's menu that is tailored to individual dietary needs. It's also a ton of food. Only downside for groups is it is absurdly loud in the early evening - have to yell to be heard at all.
The service was outstanding! It was a team dinner and one of us was vegan. The chef was accommodating and both the normal and the vegan food were delicious. Everyone that served us was aware of the dietary restriction and was careful when bringing the correct food out. Our server was perfect, timed his visits to our table very well and we had a delightful evening.
Wonderful tapas and great ambiance. Spanish music playing and people at the bar with their tinto and croquetas.
Was overall good
Perfect location for a boozy birthday brunch! Food & service were fantastic!
Great service, food was great, definitely look forward to going back!
great food, great service, but to noisy when crowded, been come my here for years.
Food was very good. Noise level was terrible. Very difficult to hear just across the table
Delicious food and great service in a great laid back environment.
A tapas restaurant where your taste buds have a party tasting various small plates. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Great food but a little overpriced for tapas (small portions).
Such great customer service and so amazingly accommodating ! Their bartender , manager and hostess deserve a special shout out!
Just love the brunch deal here! $39 for four delicious tapas dishes, a main for two, and dessert, not to mention unlimited sangria. Overall one of my favorite go-to restaurants!
Good Food , great service .
I decided to try this place out as it was recommended to me. Very happy with my decision. The food was tasty and staff was great, very accommodating. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. I will definitely go back!
Horrible experience. The hostess provided awful service. Table was not ready (no big deal..) but she was more concerned trying to install a tv on a table than to help people understand what was the waiting time and even though we had a reservation she sat other people before us.
The food that was cold, tasteless and done in a hurry. Everyone seemed more interested in a soccer game than in providing a bit of service. Hey we all love soccer but this is not a sports bar, at least I thought so.
Stood up to get the check and stepped aside for servers to walk by and stepped into the view for 10 seconds of the tv I just mentioned. A woman tried to push me out of the way. The servers reacted in my favor but the hostess said I was blocking the soccer game and I had to seat down. I just wanted to get the check!
Best paella I ever had. Great sangria. Lots of fun.
Ambiance too loud. Hard to hear friends and felt need to talk unnecessary loud. Love food though.
The first time to try Spanish restaurant. It comes out amazing. Only cons to me is this location does not have enough brights. It is a small place without views.
Great food, service, everything was amazing, thank you
Delicious, as always. A wonderful place for brunch.
Mediocre food, confused-slow wait staff, intolerably loud.
