We were seated promptly with a reservation. Wait staff was very polite and accommodating.
Food was fresh and delicious as was the various sangria's that were offered. We opt'd for the brunch and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.
Definitely worth a try. I thought all dishes were worth a try. My favorite dishes were the lamb meatballs and the octopus. Decent wine selection.
Service was great and the overall experience is totally worth it. Tapas were delicious, drinks and dessert (churros with dulce de leche!!!) totally recommend it
I love that our friendly waitress always remembers us and our preferences.♥️
They were behind on reservations by about 30 minutes. Otherwise, it was great
Excellent food and service! One of the best brunch options in NYC
Came at tail end of lunch and kitchen was jammed so waited a while for food, but was delicious. Recommend and will return.
You'll have good old tapas like crispy patatas bravas, octopus and so on.
Not the same you'll find in Spain yet not too far. Only cons, the sound at 80 dbs
very loud but excellent food
Loved the food and the ambiance was pleasant, they were just a little slow in serving. For lunch in NYC speed is key.
Food was ok.
Meatballs should be served with a piece of bread.
Octopus was amazing but the mash potatoes is not necessary, instead more shaved fennel would have been great.
The white sangria was awful. They should work on it or omit it all together.
Excellent food; imaginatively presented. Interesting wine, sherry and vermouth lists--vermouth is a great drink with tapas. Only wish that dishes came at a more leisurely pace, so they don't pile up on small tables. Service efficient and attentive.
The service was fast and genuine. Which is a big thing for me. I was celebrating my boyfriends birthday and he’s not one for signing and the staff was very discrete by only putting a sparkler in his dessert. The food was also good, but being a vegetarian options were a little limited to mainly carbs and the food itself was drenched in oil. So not an everyday meal for me. The dessert he got was my favorite out of everything; it was a hazelnut cake with ice cream. Very flavorful and I highly recommend! I disliked how close the tables were to others because you can hear everything especially with the people sitting next to us. It made what was suppose to be a nice and relaxing birthday turn into us rushing to leave. I would return with a group of friends more so then a date. All in all I feel like this place should be a must try!
First bad experience there. The sangria tasted like water and I was refused my complementary dessert
The food was delicious. The place was too noisy. The churros dipped in hot chocolate was a great ending to a great meal.
Waitress remembered us from last time we went! That's great service!
Delicious food, tasty red sangria, and delightful waitstaff.
Great service. Delicious food. The right amount of food!
Food ok great seevice
Tapas were on par. But had an unfortunate experience with server/bartender shorting us a meat course in the prefixe “classics” menu, after failing to initially heed my instructions as to a food allergy. Attempted to surreptitiously provide a potato dish at the end instead. Disappointing. I’ve dined here many times in the past, and have in fact enjoyed this menu option before. No way I will return. Too many better tapas places in NYC (with honest staff to boot.)
Service took forever and the tables are too crammed together. We ended up leaving after just a drink because they have no jacket on the door and we were freezing every time someone went in and out. I also got bumped by waiters every time they went by. I know the food is good here, but I don't want to pay $200 for a meal when I'm freezing and getting bumped.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love tapas and had never tried Boqueria before so we thought we’d give it a try. It was all around an amazing experience. The food was incredible, but our waiter really made the experience. He was able to take everything we were in the mood for and find the perfect recommendation - from the wine (he nailed it without recommending the most expensive bottle ($56) which was nice) to all of the food, as we decided to do the grand tasting for $60pp. I’m allergic to beef so he substituted the beef dishes with seafood and incorporated the a la cart tapas that we told him we wanted to try. Our favorites were the shishito peppers, patatas bravas, croquettes, and octopus. DEFINITELY give this place a try if you love tapas!!! Oh and don’t miss the churros.
Barcelona in New York!!! Authentic tapas and fabulous wine!! Can not wait to return to continue my way through the menu!
Great food and service. Just a bit too tight if you’re seated by the corner round tables where they sit groups of people. Very uncomfortable So we had to move somewhere else
Food and service are always great. And authentic to southern Spain.
Exciting but busy vibe! Phenomenal tapas, but hard menu to navigate and easy to get caught spending quite a bit on a meal. Very crowded table seating and loud proximity chatter accompanied by a host of waiters swarming through the labyrinth of patrons are accompanied by unique and authentic tapas cuisine. Worth going for the experience, but hard to make into a weekly or even monthly haunt.
With wife from California. Jumping place. Noise level high. Food and service were excellent. I’d go again in a heartbeat.
Outstanding ! Food, service, ambience was perfect! Definitely recommend!
First of all, the staff at Boqueria (Flatiron) was phenomenal. We had a party of 10 coming from multiple states with many last minute changes. They were very accommodating and understanding and made everything work without issue.
The “chefs” menu was perfect, as it took away any stress of picking food for an entire table. It just. Kept. Coming. We found ourselves wanting to stop any more service because we were so full. That is until the flaming churros made their entrance.
Overall, fantastic venue and wonderful experience.
The fixed menu was excellent. a lot of tapas and too much food. Everybody happy. The service was impeccable. We got the check and add the tip. They came back saying that tip was included and no need to add more.
Something outstanding in NYC
Best tortilla Española ever! The brunch tortilla is amazing, with salad, pan con tomate, olives, etc.
Friendly, informative servers. Delicious food. Loud! Would return.
Great food. Nice service from Brandon.
Great service and delicious food!
We arrived on a Friday at 12:30 for lunch had a few different tapas (shrimp, cheese/meat plate/ tortilla etc. and a great bottle of Spanish white wine. Everything was delicious. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend.
The food and service in this location are absolutely terrible. My bf and I have been there twice. Both times were terrible.
Loved every dish, especially and the white sangria!
Great hhhhhhhhhh kkkkkkk
