Went for mothers day, had 1pm reservation for brunch. Was seated in a back room by the kitchen door at 110. Was offered drinks at 145. Drinks were delivered at 212. our order was then taken. At 243 we were informed they were out of corned beef hash and another order of a reuben was made. At 318 we were informed they still had corned beef hash and our order would be out soon. 335 appeteizer ordered with drinks at 145 was delivered. 345 we recieved our cold food. HAPPY MOTHERSDAY!
Enjoyed having lunch at this restaurant. I wouldn't say the food was excellent, but it was very flavorful.
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. The chicken kabobs were dry, the chicken curry was also dry, and the ambiance was more dinner/cafe than restaurant. The reviews we read prior to going were all pretty good, but I suspect that they were written by the owners.
I found the food to be absolutely delightful! Many choices on the menu would seem to appeal to almost anyone. I will definitely be going again and again! Just a wonderful place!
Odd but tasty mix of food here. The burger was good, the curry was good, and the salmon was good. Great little find.
It was good food and nice staff. I will return
your recommendation list did not list regular breakfast but the eggs Benedict were excellent
Very accommodating for a large party of 14. Didn't faze them. They rolled with my family, which isn't easy.
We had a group of 12 meet at Boondockers and it was a fantastic experience! Food was delicious, service was excellent and my team was very enthusiastic about coming back.
We loved our breakfast here. We could tell the food was cooked with love and care. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The owners are hands-on and are very friendly. We had as much fun talking with them as we did enjoying our food.
This is a 5 star restaurant in a 3 star location. Food was superb with some mainstream and some unique dishes, something for everyone. Quality ingredients, real food. Highly recommend.
Great service and awesome food! Not too pricey and their milkshakes are to die for!
Outstanding little place to go :) Good Food :) Seated Quickly.....:)
We came for the bellydancing, and had a great dinner as well! One of us is watching our weight, and found a perfect dinner for weight-watching! The Pakistani pickle was fabulously flavored. The curry was wonderful, and the dessert tray was impressive.
I'm an admitted foodie and wanted to try the Indian cuisine. My Dal was okay - but very very spicy - I realize everyone has their own recipe - but I prefer to have some lentils to chew on instead of completely blended. My friend had the chicken kabobs - they were overcooked and dry. the Naan is $2 - 2.50 for only one piece.
They had homemade desserts and I tried the carrot cake - it was very good. Perhaps one needs to stick with the American cuisine at Boondockers.
Well-prepared American food, plus very interesting and tasty Pakistani dishes. The paratha and lamb vindaloo were delicious. And the service is quick and friendly.
This was my first visit to the restaurant and I took my niece to dinner. It was Christmas so there was a limited menu. I had the Prime Rib and she had the Turkey. Both were excellent. The food tastes like real home cooking. We both had dessert and it too was amazing.
There was a variety of people eating there for the holiday. It is casual dining and is kid friendly. I will definitely go back and my niece will too.
We would have preferred more menu choice, but what we had was good and the cheese cake was divine.
We have been to Boondockers many times. The food is good. A nice atmosphere and the folks that run it are always fun to chat with.
The day we were there just one man (the owner?) was working, taking orders, bussing tables, bringing orders, etc. He was a little overworked and as a result service was very slow. The food was fine, but I would only recommend going there if you are not in a hurry.
restaurant was completely empty for lunch service, ordered seafood platter and every single item was burned, dry, and nasty. vegetable's were boiled to mush, and all was unpalatable. I am confused as to why there were so many great reviews, as this was a really bad experience. My date wanted to do a substitution on her meal and was snubbed as to if that is possible.
This was our first visit to Boondockers Cafe. There were four of us dining. The Cafe offers classic American cuisine and a Pakistani menu. We ordered at least four of the appetizers for the variety. They were generous portions and delicious. One could easily make a meal out of just the appetizers. All four of us ordered of the Pakistani menu. Each main dish was plentiful and even more delicious than the appetizers. There is a lovely variety of homemade goodies for dessert, but we were all too full to enjoy any of them.....maybe next time, since we will definitely be visiting again soon!
We had a nice brunch - very friendly staff and owner who all made the effort to get to know us without being overbearing. Yummy brunch, quiet atmosphere, got to watch the football game, too! We will definitely be back to try their lunch and dinner offerings!
Our first time there and it was great...Went for brunch and had eggs benedict. It was quiet, good food and great service. Portions were perfect. I had to change our reservation time 3 different times. They were very accomodating!
We stopped in for a late lunch on the spur of the moment. We were impressed by the extensive menu, fantastic food (we had a steak and a lamb kabob), and excellent and personable service. The restaurant is a short hop off I-5 and is well worth the quick side trip. We will most definitely be back.
Loved the service and great variety. They had everything from curry to steak to bacon and eggs
Great little Gem, food was excellent and the owners were customer friendly. We had no idea this restraunt existed, we found it online, and thought we would give it a try. The breakfast was large and deliciuos, so bring a large apetite. Looking forward to lunch next the family wants to try the Kabobs. Oh yea they have a Mamosa Bar!
Went looking for a nice brunch/lunch & found it! Lots of options to satisfy everyone, even vegetarians. Host was very attentive & wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal, and then suggested great ideas for things to do in the area and on trip back to Seattle. Great experience & we'll be back!
We enjoyed a great Mother's Day dinner at Boondockers. My daughters are vegetarians and appreciated the choices available, ending up choosing Indian dishes, my son had chicken, and my husband had fish n' chips; all very good.
My meal was absolutely delicious! I had seared halibut w/blackberry cilantro salsa from the special menu. It was the best halibut I've ever had, so fresh and cooked perfectly w/salsa as the perfect accompaniment. My meal included salad, veggies and orzo and was a good price at $21 especially considering the high quality.
The ambiance was relaxing; the staff attentive w/personal service by the owners. Would love to see the seared halibut as a regular menu item. Soooo good! Thanks for a terrific Mother's Day dinner!
Food might have been good but did not get that far. Went for mother's day, sat for 30 min before we able to have someone look our way and flagged them down just to getwwater then was told they weren't serving breakfast which was why we had gone because the kitchen was too busy. Even though the mother's day special said it was served until 3.
Expected it to be busy!. Seated on time. We had a table of 4 and we were seated right in the middle of 4 big tops that had 6 or more in the party. Our server spoke softly. Our food was good, but the runner was clearly distrot. Mimosas are good! I would go back, but not for a special occasion.
Had the curry. It was very favorful and very good. Will definitely be back. Thanks
fantastic food and fresh! love the Chai tea! Owners are personable and care! We recommned this place for family & friends! Only place in Marysville we will go to!
