Love the ambiance, cozy and comfortable. Our server, Molly, was above and beyond wonderful. The pricing is high, especially if you want a side dish. Although some menu items did include a side. It's a fine dining experience, for sure.

Food was delicious- unfortunately food was not steaming hot my fiancés food was cold, we asked the waiter for new plate and he was shocked how cold his food was. Overall the food was tasty but I do feel it was too much money for the experience. Great customer service from the water. The hostess did not seat us in a great spot had to ask if we can sit in a certain spot for our special occasion. She wanted to place us by the bar for our celebration for two people I found that to be very odd! We asked to be placed in the back where it was a comforting and relaxing spot to celebrate.

This is a very nice restaurant with some excellent dishes and some not so much. We have enough experience at Bonny and Read to know what to order. Service, in our experience, is hit and miss but mostly hit. We do enjoy the place and always leave satisfied.

My partner and I went initially to celebrate our anniversary, but he had proposed earlier that day and it turned into a celebration of our engagement! We’re from Texas and originally heard great things about this place, but honestly it was mediocre. The food was good, but the service and wait times were what brought our interests down. We waited maybe 6-8 minutes to be greeted (we got sat in the bar, granted it was a little busy) and our server who was the bartender came to us maybe 3 times total excluding checking us out (greeting, taking our order, asking how the food was). The good food took forever to come out and we felt like the other server in the area checked on us more often than before. There was no small talk, just felt like hi and bye type of talk. Scenery was nice, food was good, and that’s about it. Might come back again, might not.

Very disappointing food this visit. Normally really enjoy our meals, but tonight nearly everything we ordered was disappointing. My ahi (which I requested rare) was very overcooked and the rice was also overcooked and mushy. Our arugula salad was very steamy and not very fresh(seemed like old arugula). My husband enjoyed his salmon, but it too was over cooked a bit. Hopefully it was just an “off” night since we have enjoyed the food here in the past.

We frequently dine at B&R and have always had great food and service. I happened to read the reviews before booking again last night and saw lots of rave reviews along with a few other comments on the lobster stuffed halibut. I order it and enjoyed it very much it was not overcooked or warm. The lobster stuffing was flavorful and the halibut flaky, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My husband had a streak Bonny Style which he enjoyed. We also had “Doug” who was our server and he was awesome, there when needed, friendly and efficient. The reviews mentioned Doug specifically and he did not disappoint! All the staff there is terrific, by the way. We love the pineapple upside down cake.

My first lunch here- and I was vastly impressed with the scope, caliber and vision of the menu. Refreshing for Colorado Springs! I'm a vegetarian but there were plenty of options for me- and all very robust to the palate. Incredible, attentive staff who attended to every detail - and so so kind. Love this place. It will be a go-to for me.

Used to enjoy it here, but I think the food has gone down hill. The blue cheese encrusted NY strip was a very, very tough piece of meat with a ton of blue cheese just melted on top. Prices are too high for that food quality in my opinion.

My Salmon was great, the ciopino was a little spicy for my wife. Oysters Rockefeller were very good. Service was very good, but the forgot my clam chowder. Overall, this is still one of our favorite places downtown.
