Great food! Good cocktails
Good was good, not great. Very noisy!!!
The owner’s wife was lovely and offered us another table outside.
We declined it because the noise from the street was less preferable than the inside noise.
Good BBQ at a local restaurant. Easy and casual.
Good food and good service.
Barbecue items are beyond yummy! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is great, and so are the deviled eggs, but be careful. The eggs are spicy! Overall, the food is delicious, the ambiance is fun, and the service is friendly. This was my third time here and I've never been disappointed.
Great Service, Great food.
Great Birthday Singing!
Having been a customer of the Boneyard for many years I was disappointed in my meal. Both the ribs and chicken were dry in a way that their sauce could not remedy. I go for the food. If they continue their slide they are going to loose me as a patron.
Awesome, food is amazing! Unbelievable onion rings, too
Very good food and drinks. We loved the crunch salad and you MUST get their brussel sprouts with burrata!
Okay, this is the best BBQ I have had since leaving Texas.
The Brisket and Beef Ribs are *^&%**(%$#@$ good!
Always love it here!! In every way.
We were a party of 4 with a reservation. We were seated quickly at a roomy table near the front window. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We had a wide variety of foods all were very well prepared. The ribs and brisket were very good although the brisket was a bit dry possibly because I had ordered the lean version rather than the fattier cut. The meats were fairly smoky in flavor as would be expected. There is an extensive menu and many wine and beer options. My only negative comment would be the noise level. It was difficult to have a conversation. All in all a pleasant dining experience.
Dinner with family. Son in for a visit and was leaving the next day!
I like Friday lunch at Boneyard. It's the type of restaurant that I'd go to when I worked in advertising on Fridays when I didn't want or need to go back to the office, and now that I don't work on Fridays, it's a great place to hang out at the bar for a couple of hours with good beer and wildly inventive food. It doesn't hurt that I'm friends with the staff, but there's no reason you can't get to know the staff yourself.
This restaurant is across the street from the playhouse we were going to later. We decided to have dinner there and cross the street to go to the play. The tri-tip and beef ribs were exceptional. The baked beans were flavorful and with pieces of tri-tip. I had the empanadas. They were flaky and had tender beef. Our waiter was friendly and chatty. We plan on returning.
Great tri-tip and chili. Noise level is so high that it is very difficult to talk.
The noise level was over the top. It was impossible to have any type of conversation,
and after YELLING to one another for 15 minutes, we gave up. We ate as quickly as we
could. It was also quite warm inside the restaurant, and we couldn't get out of there
quickly enough. Not an enjoyable meal at all.
Barnyard Bistro has a great energy, great liquor options, great beer options, awesome food. Terrific bbq on Ventura Blvd.
Great food and drinks. The brisket was dry otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Everything else was amazing. We ordered the Evanator. Plenty of good meat for more than 4+ people. Highly recommend the baby back ribs.
GR8 food and service
We were looking for someplace new and decided to give this place a try it was well worth it they are very well staffed very friendly and the food is amazing you get lots of it and you can go hungry and leave in the wheelbarrow our table was a little tilted and it’s not high and dining so make sure that you’re not wearing a tie when you go to this place we would definitely go back it’s a great place for the family
love the food, a bit too noisy for us - why do these places have to be so loud?!?
We have been to this restaurant multiple times. We love it mainly for the food which is consistently excellent.
Favorite restaurant in the valley. Go as much as possible.
Our group enjoyed our dinner very much. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful since this was our first time here. The pulled pork was wonderful and also the fish tacos were tasty. Parking is awful, however. No valet until 6pm. We arrived at 5 so parked on a side street but by 6 pm had to go and move the car to valet or risk a pricey ticket. Would be nice to have valet available when they open at 4:30pm.
We went for happy hour. Super tasty.
We love boneyard. Great food and drinks. The best (strongest) mai-tai in town.
Great BBQ! This is our go-to BBQ restaurant. Love the food. The restaurant is a little noisy for us. The wait staff are very friendly.
Boneyard is so consistent with food, service, atmosphere. We've enjoyed the apps, cocktail & beer selection since stumbling upon place 4 years ago. Wish it was closer to home!
The food was fantastic, we had the brussel sprouts and deviled eggs for appetizers and both were prepared perfectly and delicious followed by the ribs. Service was great!
Bbq lacked flavor. Four guests and we ordered 6 different dishes all were below average.
Food and service were really good!
My favorite restaurant in San Fernando Valley. Everything always delicious. Creative cooking. Great bar. Always happy here.
Friendly and good as usual!
Great service, and amazing food.
The restaurant is just average the service is the best thing about the restaurant the service is fabulous above and beyond the beer is okay the food I've had better the ribs did not impress me at all.
THe food was dry, had no taste and completely overpriced. I feel like I threw $100 out the window!
The food at Boneyard, as always, fabulous. We came craving bbq— but happened to be there for one of the Louisiana seafood boil
Menus. Beyond delicious. My mom who went to college in New Orleans was with us along with my kids— and she just about flipped. Thanks for another amazing meal.
It's a great place.!! The food and service are always the same, with attentive servers and great BBQ and other interesting options. We aren't big drinkers ourselves, but the folks who come with us always comment about the beers and bar options. We always recommend the Boneyard when people ask for BBQ.
4 of us all originally from Kansas City where BBQ is king. Boneyard is every bit as good as KC BBQ which means it's the best in LA.
