About
Consistent great barbecue -- a mix of Texas and Kansas City. Had the large brisket bone short rib (huge) and couldn't get enough. My wife doesn't like barbecue so she had food from the Bistro side of the menu. Great Catfish with grilled vegetables. Casual dining taken to a whole new level. Also, super wine list for this type of restaurant.
Went to Boneyard Bistro with friends because they wanted barbecue and I don't eat meat but the menu had lots of choices for me. My husband and friends ordered a combo meal for 4 that came with all of the different BBQ meats/pork and lots of sides. I ordered the trout. The food came luckily split! I couldn't believe how fast it came. Their feisty looked incredible and judging by what was left, it was delicious. My trout was just OK. It had a citrus taste throughout the fish and all of the vegetables on my plate so it was Ll pretty one note. My drink was awesome though! I think it was called the smoke and salt. It was like a margarita made with mezcal. It was soooo strong and once I got used to that, I loved it! Our waiter Walter was awesome too. Very friendly and efficient as was all of the help there that night.
Great appetizers and Happy Hour. Ribs were a little over cooked but still tasty. Would go back. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive.
Seating was too close to others as restaurant is small inside. Since it was our anniversary, this was not optimum conditions.
That said, the service and food were both excellent!
Good food and service!
Mother’s Day Brunch was delicious. Loved the special menu as well as standard lunch menu option.
My family and I went to Boneyard Bistro for lunch to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom. The food was delicious. Everyone was beyond happy with their meals. The service was really spectacular as well. Very friendly and attentive staff who made us all feel very welcome. Great dining experience. I highly recommend Boneyard Bistro for delicious BBQ and a wonderful overall dining experience.
Is an okay restaurant. Very casual, burgers and barbecue.
Great food, friendly service, and excellent value.
I love the service and delicious food they have.
Consistently great food, great service and great atmosphere. Love the rotating beer menu and the food is always delicious!
Great dinner with family in the bar area so we could watch the game. There are many items for vegetarians on the menu which are delicious.
The food was great, but what made the night special was our server. He was so knowledgeable and guided me through my first whiskey tasting with a custom flight. Would definitely go back.
Excellent food; quality mixology, outstanding Bourbon/whiskey selection.
Slightly overpriced or need to increase portion sizes.
I love the food at Boneyard Bistro. We ordered the chicken and it was very good but the 1/2 chicken was a bit on the small side. Other than that, no complaints.
I will be dreaming about those beef ribs until I'm able to visit Voneyard Bistro again. I've never liked beef ribs but on a strong recommendation from a friend, I ordered a small plate. Two bites in and we knew that one plate wasn't going to do it - and we immediately ordered a second large plate before the waiter even left the table. Absolutely ridiculously good. I mean, they shouldn't be legal.
Pork ribs were good, too. Actually, very good. But I don't think I'll ever get over those beef ribs. Plus, best cole slaw I've ever had, hands down.
This place just never disappoints! The food is AMAZING!
Boneyard Bistro never disappoints. We celebrated my husbands birthday there this past week and the food and service were awesome, as always ! I’d highly recommend it!
The meat was cooked properly but was so salty it was hard to eat. They had no pork ribs of any kind at 7 on a Sunday- they told us they would be ready in 20mins- 20mins later we were told it would be another hour and a half. Service was bad but it wasn’t the servers fault as it appeared she was the only one working the bar
Food service and atmosphere was great! Highly recommend eating here!
We love Boneyard Bistro. They offer organic grass fed beef ribs - which is awesome. We do wish that they had more grass fed/grass finished beef options on their menu. Baked beans and coleslaw are some of the best we have ever tasted. Service is always great!
This is the best restaurant on the planet. The food is great. The beer selection is great. The staff is great.
I was extremely disappointed with our meal on Sunday. Boneyard Bistro has always been one of my favorite go-to places. I admit it's been awhile since I've been there, so it was particularly disappointing to see the quality of the food was not what it used to be. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was very dry as was the bread with a just a smear of dressing.

Food and service were great. A little overpriced but worth it.
We very much enjoy dining at Boneyard Bistro. The food is delicious from cole slaw thru our yummy ribs to our dessert pudding. Mmmmm good.
The BEST for slow roasted meats! The brisket and pulled pork are especially tender and flavorful.
The food is too expensive for the portion size served as well as the quality. I know running a restaurant is expensive with too many city and State mandates, but this was not worth the visit.
Fantastic selection of whiskeys/bourbons and draft beers. They now have a vegan option, which was delicious. Husband loved his brisket. Our server, Brian, was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding bourbons and beers for flights; great lunch experience all the way around at one of our favorite restaurants.
Food as cold expensive and taste awful
We have been here in the past and enjoyed it. Recently it has mostly been at the bar for apps. This trip was so disappointing. The entrees went from inedible at the worst to mediocre at best. We ended up sending the shrimp and grits back because the grits were lumpy and tasteless and the shrimp had an odd odor. We ordered the Prime Rib Melt as a replacement. It was soggy and unappetizing. The fries were very underdone but we didn't want to send them back after we just sent back the other meal. My father, who eats just about anything, was entirely underwhelmed by the dry smoked brisket - which had neither a smoke ring or smoke flavor. My duck confit was at least edible but not particularly enjoyable as it too was dry - it is really hard to dry out duck to the level this was with all the fat inherent in it. In the end the only beings happy we went there were our dogs that got the brisket and the prime rib added to their bowls. Sadly it is close to our house but we can't imagine going back.
Boneyard Bistro is consistently good - a great neighborhood place that serves our comfort food.
Nothing special. I’ve been coming to boneyard since the week it opened and generally it is been pretty good. But tonight the chicken was bone dry, The brisket and the ribs were room temperature and the beer was warm. Price has gone up quite a bit over the years also…Fail
Food was good. Our waiter was fantastic. Nice job. Thank you for the hospitality and the cake!
Everything was WAY too salty (Brussels , fries etc) Kobe donuts looked microwaved and tasted bad. Burger was meh. Not convinced the bun was gluten free either. Overall very disappointing/expensive birthday meal which I was looking forward to.
Chef owner who cares about food. Best wine list I have ever seen for a good barbeque joint. That said, the non-barbeque items, even the salads, were first rate. Oh, and half price bottles of wine on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I will be back, for sure!
I ordered the Barbecue Chicken (breast and wing) and Brisket combination; the breast was relatively small and dry, and the few strips of brisket were also dry. Additionally, I ordered collard greens as the side; and, though the waiter assured me they would not be spicy, they were, and I couldn’t eat them. Overall, this $24 meal was poor.
Our appetizer was very salty salty. We had to drink water to wash it down. Then we ordered beef rib and it came with almost no meat on the bone and again way too salty. Not worth the money. We will not be going back.
Food has gone downhill. My prime rib sandwich has no flavor.
I've been here before and it was good enough that we came this last visit.
Service was decent, but 3 of 4 got waters which never were refilled. My soda was refilled twice tho.
My baby back ribs were super dry; previously they were fine, but they were just incredibly dry. My mom's salad also lacked dressing. My fiancee's St Louis ribs were great & moist at least.
We would have gotten dessert, but by this point we just wanted to go.
Sadly, I won't be back.
For comfort food in the big city this is the place to go.
How do we get great bbq drippings off my shoe?
