My favorite restaurant in San Fernando Valley. Everything always delicious. Creative cooking. Great bar. Always happy here.
Friendly and good as usual!
Great service, and amazing food.
The restaurant is just average the service is the best thing about the restaurant the service is fabulous above and beyond the beer is okay the food I've had better the ribs did not impress me at all.
THe food was dry, had no taste and completely overpriced. I feel like I threw $100 out the window!
The food at Boneyard, as always, fabulous. We came craving bbq— but happened to be there for one of the Louisiana seafood boil
Menus. Beyond delicious. My mom who went to college in New Orleans was with us along with my kids— and she just about flipped. Thanks for another amazing meal.
It's a great place.!! The food and service are always the same, with attentive servers and great BBQ and other interesting options. We aren't big drinkers ourselves, but the folks who come with us always comment about the beers and bar options. We always recommend the Boneyard when people ask for BBQ.
4 of us all originally from Kansas City where BBQ is king. Boneyard is every bit as good as KC BBQ which means it's the best in LA.
The food was just average. Had baby back ribs that were too smokey for my taste. My wife had a sandwich that was just average. Neither of us thought the baked beans were as taste as we expected.
I have enjoyed boneyard since it opened. I am sorry that the owner Aaron is spending less time at the restaurant now that his other place has opened. He always added a nice touch. His wife is there and she has a winning personality that adds to the ambiance of the place. The beef ribs are one of the best available east of topanga Blvd His corn muffins are outstanding along with what I consider the best Cole slaw in LA. Noisy at times due to the lack of carpet and sound absorbing wall coverings. Walker is a wonderful waitperson who always makes sure the customer is happy.
As always, both food and beverage were excellent. Brad makes fabulous cocktails so I like to sit at the bar at first even when we will be seated for dinner. I love the baby back ribs, especially because I can get them "dry" when so many other restaurants don't offer that option but rather slather them with sauce (which is fine for many people but not for me). Service is always friendly and professional.
Enjoyed the ambience and meat choices were superb. Yummm
We Love coming here! Always delicious food and nice atmosphere.
Can get a little loud and crowded (tables are close together)
The food was cold, for both of us. the prices changed when i got the bill.
the are always up charges for items you think are included.
won't be going back..
Saw this restaurant as the best BBQ spot in California. While that position is debatable the restaurant is really good with BBQs with slight differences from usual fare. Good beers on tap and we were seated immediately.
Barbecue, inventive comfort food, at least 35 beers on tap and half-price wine Tus and Wed. What's not to like?
I really like this place. Atmosphere and food are great, and the best baked beans I've ever had. Service is consistently outstanding but I will say that Boneyard is a little overpriced.
Awesome as always
Our server was very patient with us, as it was our first time dining there. She gave an honest opinion as to what to try (the beef ribs, brisket, and pulled pork) and what to pass on this time around (chicken, sausage). I had the brisket (I elected to keep it fatty) and the St. Louis ribs, wet (there were also options for "dry" and "Cajun rubbed"). The brisket was phenomenal, and the ribs were just ok. They weren't as "fall-off-the-bone" as I thought they'd be, and I didn't find them wet enough—thankfully, they provided some extra sauce on the side. For sides, I had the fried macaroni and cheese (okay), the baked beans (good), and cole slaw (not to my liking). Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'd go back again.
Bedt barbque around. A real gem with great beers and terrific side dises. Add impeccable but relaxed service and you have a winning conversation.
Our server, Star, was an absolute "Star"! Forgot my cc and she chased me down the street to return it. That was the cherry. She was fabulous all night. No better BBQ.
Four of us went, all for the first time, to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food, service and staff (including the manager) were all excellent! We will definitely go back again.
FOOD WAS NOT GOOD, PORTIONS WERE SMALL. I ALWAYS EXPECT BBQ TO BE TENDER AND FALL OFF THE BONE. THIS WAS CHEWY AND TOUGH. I HEARD IT WAS A GREAT PLACE BUT I DONT AGREE. THIS WAS MY ONE AND ONLY VISIT TO BONEYEARD BISTRO. SORRY TO BE SO TOUGH, BUT THEY DONT FIT INTO THE BBQ MOST DINNERS HAVE COME TO EXPECT.
The food was subpar. Beef ribs barely had any meat.
what can i say i love boneyard bistro. i'm coming back that's a guarantee.
While Boneyard is generally a BBQ focused restaurant/bar, the menu choices of non-BBQ selections is great and delicious! The beet app and salmon entrees were amazing!
This is my second time here and the food and service is even better than the first and the first was pretty good. Thank you
Both Food and Service were excellent. Nice atmosphere.
Amazing as always. The beer selection is beyond description. The meat ... Oh the meat. Nothing is like it.
