Always a treat to eat and drink here.
Good service. A bit loud but overall romantic.
Was the most beautiful view and great service we enjoy our dinner drinks and hotel was the best service as well , can’t wsit for back soon
We really enjoyed our time there...Will return soon
My first time here and i loved it.. food was excellent and our server was wonderful
amazing, everything about this place was amazing.
it was amazing. if you have a date you are trying to impress, look no further.
The service is good, but for aome reason, we always get a bad table, by thw time we recolve to the dwntwn view, were ready to leave
The restaurant has amazing views and the seats are comfortable. Ambiance is right. Lighting is perfect and romantic. The downfall is the price of the food. To start, they give you chex mix in a cup instead of the traditional bread that most restaurants give. I ordered the ceasar salad and empanadas starter. Not impressed and they were $18 each. My husband ordered the salmon. It was $56 and it doesn't even come with sides. He liked it though. Over all we had a very nice experience but we probably wont be going back. It was a one time thing to experience the revolving lounge. Been there done that. After spending $180 here. We were ready to go eat. Lol. Please do go experience it at least once for yourself. Maybe have a drink or 2. The drinks start at $18 fyi.
Overall experience was great, just needs more options of food in the lounge.
Service and location were great. Ambiance was sullied by crying babies and overall noise of the restaurant. Food was good just could do better on the side salad we got with our steaks. Drinks were awesome.
Appalling food. A restaurant that relies on its gimmick (revolving) which is no reason to go to a restaurant. It felt like a cheap diner but the prices were Michelin Star. Seriously bad experience. It was revolting and revolving.
Fantastic view. Great service.
Really over priced and watered down drinks. I was very disappointed
Brought my girlfriend here for a special night out and I must say I made an excellent choice. I actually booked a reservation at the Bonavista on a whim because I the original restaurant I chose was overbooked. Awesome views of the city skylines. You can't feel the restaurant rotate so don't be worried about motion sickness. The only thing that I didn't like was the limited menu and choice of sides. However, the food was delicious and prepared exactly how we ordered. I recommend the filet mignon. The restaurant is pricy, but worth the money.
I had a great valentine day
Are you KIDDING ME?
There was a "special" INCREDIBLY LIMITED menu designed for the night we dined there...but when they called to confirm our reservation, they made NO mention of this. NOTHING. Not only that, but the prices were EXORBITANT! 2 apps + 2 entrees + 2 cocktails: $307.00!!!!! They were MUCH HIGHER than what was posted on their online menu, which constitutes bait & switch in my eyes.
While we ordered our food and drinks we asked for some bread while we waited for our apps. No bread. Asked again. No bread. Finally, the third time we asked, our waitress told us she had "to go upstairs for bread", whatever that means.
Our appetizers arrived but we were never given forks, knives, spoons or napkins. Had to ask two people to make it happen!!!!
No salt. No pepper. Had to ask. At this point, our appetizers are getting lukewarm.
My guest was in the middle of eating his appetizer when a server came by and TOOK HIS PLATE OUT FROM UNDER HIM!!!!!! He said "I'm not finished with that yet!" and the server smiled awkwardly and slid his entree in front of him event though HE WASN'T FINISHED WITH HIS APPETIZER!!!
18% gratuity for the 2 of us was included in our bill, even though the service was TERRIBLE. They did NOT deserve anywhere NEAR 18%. They took an unfinished plate from us!!!!!
At the end of this terrible meal, we told the hostess we wanted to speak to the manager. We waited. And waited. And waited. No manager. Nothing. Not even an apology from the hostess about not being able to produce a manager for us. When we left, we said 'Goodbye. We're leaving." and she just waved and smiled "Goodbye."
Save yourselves the disappointment of this dinner trap. Go to a place where the manager has the balls to come out and face a customer that has been mistreated and robbed.
It's a beautiful lounge but the food wasn't that great. The hummus was delicious but I got the half chicken with asparagus but it was literally only 1 asparagus chopped up and my husband got the filet mignon and it was left out too long that it was dry on the outside
This is such a gem. The drinks are delicious, and the energy is great! Will definitely be back.
We celebrated my daughter turning Twenty-One! Enjoyed fancy cocktails and flatbreads.
Service extremely slow. Ambience - looks tired. Only the food and view were good. Not worth when compared to places like the CN Tower in Toronto. Will not recommend to anyone
It’s an amazing restaurant with beautiful views, excellent service and delicious food. This particular time that I went it was noisy with what looked like people from a convention that were drinking being rowdy. But overall it’s always nice coming here and the service and food are always on point.
The view was really nice. That is ALL. For this price point (at least $20 for a drink or an appetizer) I would expect at least decent food. We had the flat breads and I swear, bar food at a local pub would be better. The quality was closer to fast food. I get it, hotel’s price points are always a little higher but I would expect something a little better. Don’t recommend
Excellent dining experience.
Loved the dinner and being urged once a week for weeks after to leave a review! So fun!
Awesome views, wonderful ambiance, delicious food and excellent service by our server Javier. Most of all, I fell in love with this place and the man I am with!
Service was good, but slow towards the end of our meal. We shared the humus appetizer as well as the cheese plate. Both were nicely done. My wife had the chicken Caesar Salad but the chicken was quite tuff and not very flavorful. Our waiter took that off of our bill and was very gracious and apologetic. He offered to have the chef stop by the table as well. I had the half chicken breast entree which was very good! The cheese cake and bred pudding were excellent as well.
Food is served at 5 pm but we had a 4 pm reservation so had to wait an hour to get food! The view is awesome but food was mediocre
The atmosphere, and service was excellent! Jaime, our server took great care of us. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely return.
It was our first time dining here, everything was good but we felt that the waitress was overwhelmed. She was very nice and attentive to us when she was helping but it seemed as she was just overwhelmed with tables.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly.
There we several tables with small children around us so of course they kept getting up and walking around. We are parents so very pro kids. But these kids all at different tables were louder and more energetic than we see in most decent restaurants
We ordered appetizers and took so long to arrive ( the restaurant was not full ). The waiter kept coming by to apologize while we waited. Ultimately he brought them out and said he would take 10% off.
The wait was so long we never ordered main courses. We got the check and left
Very delicious Long wait for drinks
The banana creme brûlée was delicious. Drinks were good but overpriced, but the view made it worthwhile. Good for out of town visitors.
Wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful 360 degree view of Down Town Los Angeles; perfect in the evenings. Food was very good. Such an unusual venue with the rotating lounge. Quiet comfortable booths and tables at the window.
We went after the John Legend Christmas concert at The Microsoft theatre. That was a perfect way to cap a great Christmas outing.
The restaurants is unique. The views are lovely. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding! Our waiter ‘John’ was perfect for our personalities. He joked and laughed with us! My only complaint is the outrageous prices! Cocktails are $20 each. A $62 filet mignon that comes with French fries????
Something else weird, is that when I tried to make reservations for 5 or 6 PM Open table said there was nothing available. We went at 4 and at 5, 6 and close to 7 when we left, the lounge was at about 30% capacity the whole time. We could have gone later, I can’t make sense of that. Pricing must be what makes this lounge empty and creates an inability to return unless you are in a position where money is not a concern. Lucky you.
We went there for a quick bite before a concert, it was a nice place and the service was awesome. We enjoyed the ambiance.
Took my boo out for our 5 year anniversary and we had a lovely time. Drinks, food, and service was great. Will be coming back again soon!
Go for the fabulous 360 view and delish apps. It is a quick car ride from The theatre.
