Often bring out of town visitors here because the view of downtown Los Angeles from this revolving bar is amazing -- especially at sunset. A wonderful spot to point out the many downtown landmarks. Love the flatbread! Service was excellent!
Kitchen was backed up and all food came out at once.
The food was remarkable, the service was outstanding and the view was breathtaking. If you are visiting Los Angeles this is somewhere you must check out. Carlos was extremely welcoming and got me seated very quickly. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed.
We wanted to try something fun and funky in the Westin Bonaventure; so why not a rotating restaurant overlooking LA? My spouse and I shared the filet mignon with fries and a side salad; paired with an ice-cold beer - perfection! The view at sunset.....spectacular!! This is a total recommendation for anyone to come visit, just for the views alone.......
I had a great time at Bonavista Revolving Lounge. I was celebrating my birthday with a few friends and the view was amazing. The service was outstanding. I will definitely be going back.
My experience was great from the start. I took my fiance, there for his birthday. it was our first time being there.. We got a table my the window, the view was beautiful. We got the wings, Bianco flat bread and a complimentary shrimp cocktail, after check-in on Yelp. My waiters name was Mariano, he made our experience even better. He was simply amazing! I highly recommend this place, is just perfect for a quiet evening for two, with great view of DTLA, or girls night out!
The view was awesome but the service was extremely slow. The lounge was not busy yet it took the waiter more then 20 minutes to come and take our initial drink order.
Aside from the view there is no reason to go here. Prices are absurd. Service on a slow night was really slow and the food was sadly disappointing. Great view but honestly you’re better off taking the elevator up, walk one loop and eating elsewhere.
I had a lovely time for my 40 bday. The empanadas were tasty just wish there were at least two more for the price and size. The waitress was nice Daize was her name if I am remembering correctly, I wasn't happy with how long she took from the time we sat down to ask what we would like to order there was hardly anyone there so I was confused as to why she was taking so long, and I had never eaten there so I had questions regarding the menu. She was more tentative to table kids next to us, I felt we were invisible to her, until I decided to ask one of the other workers passing by if there was a manager available, She then arrived at our table. I did not leave a tip because of this. When you ignore certain people, going by stereotypes assuming a customer will not tip, you get exactly what you assume. I lost my wallet for a minute but your wonderful hotel workers found it and everything was there thank you again. Had the waitress been better in the beginning I would have come back and given her a tip.
The ambiance was absolutely FABULOUS I would love to come back and spend some time in the hotel. I will definitely recommend the Bonavista Lounge!
Awesome view of downtown Los Angeles, great food, drinks and the staff were very good.
My fiancé and I had a late afternoon meeting downtown, so I bought a TravelZoo deal for the lounge (any excuse to turn it into an event). Our 6:00 reservation was perfect timing to see sunset. Apps and drinks are yummy (nice gluten free choices, too), but very pricey, about $20 each, so we’re not planning to return. We had 50% off. Pro Tip: Parking is validated for $7, for 2 or 3 hours. We stayed 1.5 hours, a full rotation back to where our view began. Great ambiance and service, pretty empty on a Thursday evening. A once in a lifetime, I’m good, sort of thing.
Food menu is very limited, vine list is not full. Waiter is not able to provide advices to choose meal and vine.
Waiter John made our visit so pleasant. He is a great asset to this place.
Food is a big disappointed, the careless of the chef is a embarrassement to all the people who work in the kitchen.
Okay I have to appreciate the view that this place offers of the city. You are on the 35th floor. Getting to the restaurant via red elevator is a treat in itself. The floors rotate at a very slow pace giving you a full view of city full of lights. Now let’s talk about the food. It was average for the price you pay. Service is fairly slow though but you won’t mind that as you look out your glass window and enjoy the view. Drunks and food items are highly priced for the quality and quantity of their menu. Go for the view, food not so much.
Fantastic view of the lights of LA. Good food and service
They went above and beyond to make it a special night for my girlfriend on her birthday 😊
Awesome wait staff and host! Great view of the city as we rotated around.
Kind of gross, overpriced food and drink. Views great, but...
The food is worse than McDonald’s.
Server checks up on you once every hour.
Never going there again.
We had a couple of drinks , the atmosphere and ambiance were great ! I will definitely be going back.
Everything was wonderful, the service, the food, and the view!
Went to Celebrate Valentine's day, it was our second visit there. The filet mignon was pure perfection, and the Salmon was Superior to any I've ever eaten....drinks were very tasty as well...very romantic venue...
We were seated and didn’t have our napkin cloth or utensils. Food came out cold. Server didn’t check on us much and we needed refills or when we wanted to actually order or receive the bill. 2nd time food came out and it was better, but still didn’t come out hot. The fries tasted bland. Overall, the experience wasn’t very good...
The view was stunning! We went there before sunset and it was amazing to see it and after that to enjoy the night LA.
The food was good but definitely not enough as a size and presentation.
Breathtaking View. But that’s the only great thing about the evening. Service was good but our waiter was not attentive. Drinks were fine, appetizers were pretty good entrées were terrible $60 for a sirloin steak that was tough as nails. That’s outrageously expensive
although again, the view was breathtaking.
The restaurant is expensive with poor quality food. Amazing view, food disgusting.
Valentine's Day-slow and relaxed
This place is amazing for the view and experience of a rotating lounge. Food was good. Will admit the money paid, being as to the price, is mainly for the experience and view. Great place to bring your lady for a first date.
Beautiful view! Come here for the drinks, the food is way over priced and decent at best. They charge $70 for a steak but didn't have fresh cracked pepper for the salad so yeah it leaves something to be desired. The chocolate martini was fantastic. We came just before sunset which was absolutely gorgeous. Glad we made a reservation, it did get busy on Valentines's Day. We had a lovely time and agreed to come back for cocktails only next time.
My fiance and I have been coming here for 3 years once a year for our anniversary, we love it and cherish the time we spend there together.
It was really nice going to this place
Great place for dinner! The views are great, especially for someone visiting LA. The parking can be a bit tricky to figure out for the first time, but there is valet service.
Had a great time. The ambiance, the view, the service, the food... all were great.
This place was amazing!! the atmosphere was amazing. I wasn't sure about the dress code so i dressed business attire but its more of a casual attire, i wish i could of went in my jeans! really relaxed, quite place, obviously the view was amazing. My reservation was at night was the city lights were awesome! the food was to die for! yes the menu is pricey but trust me it is worth it! oh don't forget there is an open bar! i recommend everyone to come here and see the beautiful down town LA.
Needs some TLC ...carpet and furniture old....great view, but in need of a makeover for sure! No happy hour specials.
Everything was absolutely perfect! The hostess was very nice, and our waiter was great. Great place all around.
The view is awesome. I ordered sliders with fries and a salad with chicken. The sliders were over cooked so the meat was very dry. The buns seemed kinda cold. The sliders didn't have much flavor. The chicken in the salad was also very dry and had no flavor. The chicken was actually kind of hard to eat because of how dry it was and being tasteless. The fries were the best thing I had and even those were mediocre. Overall, the food was terrible and I expected much better for the price point.
My girlfriend mentioned that she was interested in trying this place out, so I decided to book reservations on her birthday, and it was a very underwhelming experience. The vide was ok, the service was ok, and the chicken was dry as hell. For the price of their food, you’d think they’d have a 5 star chef back there making it happen. I doubt if I’d try this place again.
