The view was really nice. That is ALL. For this price point (at least $20 for a drink or an appetizer) I would expect at least decent food. We had the flat breads and I swear, bar food at a local pub would be better. The quality was closer to fast food. I get it, hotel’s price points are always a little higher but I would expect something a little better. Don’t recommend
Excellent dining experience.
Awesome views, wonderful ambiance, delicious food and excellent service by our server Javier. Most of all, I fell in love with this place and the man I am with!
Service was good, but slow towards the end of our meal. We shared the humus appetizer as well as the cheese plate. Both were nicely done. My wife had the chicken Caesar Salad but the chicken was quite tuff and not very flavorful. Our waiter took that off of our bill and was very gracious and apologetic. He offered to have the chef stop by the table as well. I had the half chicken breast entree which was very good! The cheese cake and bred pudding were excellent as well.
The atmosphere, and service was excellent! Jaime, our server took great care of us. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely return.
It was our first time dining here, everything was good but we felt that the waitress was overwhelmed. She was very nice and attentive to us when she was helping but it seemed as she was just overwhelmed with tables.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly.
There we several tables with small children around us so of course they kept getting up and walking around. We are parents so very pro kids. But these kids all at different tables were louder and more energetic than we see in most decent restaurants
We ordered appetizers and took so long to arrive ( the restaurant was not full ). The waiter kept coming by to apologize while we waited. Ultimately he brought them out and said he would take 10% off.
The wait was so long we never ordered main courses. We got the check and left
Very delicious Long wait for drinks
The banana creme brûlée was delicious. Drinks were good but overpriced, but the view made it worthwhile. Good for out of town visitors.
Wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful 360 degree view of Down Town Los Angeles; perfect in the evenings. Food was very good. Such an unusual venue with the rotating lounge. Quiet comfortable booths and tables at the window.
We went after the John Legend Christmas concert at The Microsoft theatre. That was a perfect way to cap a great Christmas outing.
The restaurants is unique. The views are lovely. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding! Our waiter ‘John’ was perfect for our personalities. He joked and laughed with us! My only complaint is the outrageous prices! Cocktails are $20 each. A $62 filet mignon that comes with French fries????
Something else weird, is that when I tried to make reservations for 5 or 6 PM Open table said there was nothing available. We went at 4 and at 5, 6 and close to 7 when we left, the lounge was at about 30% capacity the whole time. We could have gone later, I can’t make sense of that. Pricing must be what makes this lounge empty and creates an inability to return unless you are in a position where money is not a concern. Lucky you.
We went there for a quick bite before a concert, it was a nice place and the service was awesome. We enjoyed the ambiance.
Took my boo out for our 5 year anniversary and we had a lovely time. Drinks, food, and service was great. Will be coming back again soon!
Go for the fabulous 360 view and delish apps. It is a quick car ride from The theatre.
Great views, but you can find better food at a Dennys. You get a complimentary cup of Chex Mix as a snack as you wait for your food, and that pretty much sets the tone for the food you'll get, not to mention you will pay $18 for an appetizer and $50 or $60 for an entree that are not worth it. But yeah, great views, and the lemon drop martini ($18) was good.
Great place for first date or 100th first date with spouse. Very classy and great service
The beet vinaigrette wasn’t the best. The filet was impeccable and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box.
The place was great. They validate parking. But its a little pricey with not many meal options
Beautiful atmosphere..perfect for a date .. loved this place.. a little pricey, but definitely worth it .. the walk through the hotel overall was really nice.
Food wasn’t worth the experience
The place was great... overall just fantastic. The only thing is that it's a bar and they have small tables where a group of 5-6 can fit around a tiny table and yet all of the food they serve is on giant plates. It's very awkward to share appetizers or eat a salad when it's on a giant plate.
Very cool spot! Takes 2 hours to revolve around once which made it fun. Pricey but Excellent service. Food and cocktails are very good.
Fun couples date great view!
Great view! Our server was so nice. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Great was to celebrate a birthday day
Good food. Beautiful views. Should be noted that although it states they open at 4 PM, they do not start serving food until 5 PM. We made a reservation for 4 and was told that the kitchen didn't open until a hour later.
Beautiful views of the city from the 35th floor of the Bonaventure. The Margaritas were quality which is hard to find these days. We liked the cheese plate appetizer while watching the sun go down. We requested a table that would see the sunset an hour later and the hostess seemed to not know how to calculate that (revolving dining room) so we did not get to see the sunset! Disappointment... We did not eat a meal there because of the prices. View is amazing and worth going for drinks!
Birthday celebration for my out of town niece. She enjoyed the views and everything about the experience is cool but I wish there were more options for food. Menu is too limited. Thanks!
We had a reservation for 4:00 but we could not go up till 4:30. The lobby restaurant told us that the elevator does not work until 4:30. That’s a bummer as we were in a strict schedule as we hired a sitter to watch baby at home. After spending time in the lobby and a drink we got up to find out the kitchen does not open until 5:00!!! Well they need to communicate well in the website about timing and DONOT take Reservation if you are not open!
Great place with a great view of the downtown L.A. area. It's absolutely great for a birthday or any special celebration. Definitely would recommend to anyone who's trying to experience a great night out in the dtla area.
We enjoyed the view from the restaurant that turn around 360 degrees!! Great food, good drink 🍸 and excellent service!!
The primary reason to go is the view but really a great place for drinks and a quiet chat.
Pure awesome! Beautiful views while dinning and great wine list.
The server was not available for ordering and when we finally got service he forgot to place the order to the kitchen and offered to make it not until we asked for the bill ...I took my friend for his birthday and I felt so ashamed for the incident.
A group of 6 meet for cocktails and apps. The views were amazing an it was fun how the floor moved. A one hour stay and your around the building.
One of the most overlooked places downtown. I'm going to keep this my little secret after writing this. That's coming from a lifelong Angelino. Definitely worth a romantic visit!
Great view! Amazing experience. Just go there for an appetizer and drink. That is what everybody else did. Except us that sat down for dinner.
