Bonannos New York Pizzeria brings authentic Italian hand-tossed New York-style pizza to Las Vegas. It uses all-natural ingredients, fresh yeast and high-quality flour to create each of its pizzas. The tomato sauce is made in house. The pies are then cooked in a brick oven. The philosophy at Bonannos is to serve every dish fresh from the kitchen.
In addition to its well-known pizza pies, Bonannos offers a variety of classic Italian entrees, including baked ziti, lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. The restaurant uses family recipes passed down through generations to create the authentic flavors in each dish and pizza.

Bonanno's - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
Delicious food in a quiet, uncrowded restaurant steps away from Las Vegas Blvd. This place lacks the noise and high prices of the casino restaurants. Service was attentive and the staff all seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Bonnano's is a hidden gem, and I'll be back.
Small and tucked away for being on the strip.
The food was plentiful and very good!
What stands out though was the service, so helpful and attentive without being intrusive!
Oh, and the Tiramasu was delicious, only wish I wasn't so full so I could have enjoyed it more!
I made a reservation for our dinner on Saturday night, the restaurant is kind of new and hard to find because people at Planet Hollywood Casino did not know where it was.
Go south on Las Vegas Blvd, turn left just past the PBR Bar and restaurant, and you will see the big sign for this restaurant. Now for the food and service, it was a busy Saturday but the restaurant was very quite. The space only holds occupancy of 100 people and it was not at all busy. Not a bad thing, because the food was fresh and simple, just a nice and surprising right off the main strip. It does have outside seating but it was too cold on our trip to be outside.
We ate here in November 2015 on 11/5/15 and the food was surprisingly good for the moderate prices. It's located right on the strip near everything. We ordered lasagna and ravioli and they were both really good. I'm Italian and usually am disappointed with Italian restaurant food, but again, the food here was very good. It's a pretty small restaurant so we made reservations just in case. Would recommend dining here if you are looking for a good quality, not expensive meal in Las Vegas.
Great Italian restaurant, we just couldn't find it because it's outside on the Blvd. But that's what made it extra special. Dined on the covered patio and was great, especially with the freak rainstorm. Had the veal parmigiana special, excellent breading it was so good, and filled the plate. My wife had the penne primavera and was excellent as well. Great staff too!
We were quickly seated; however, it took about 10 mins before we were greeted by our server. We placed our order that included drinks, an appetizer and salad and entrees, the drinks were brought out rightaway, but it took forever for the appetizer and salad, I would estimate between 15 and 20 mins. We were given some super greasy cold garlic knot breads, and some bottles of olive oil, I don't know how anybody could dip that greasy bread in more oil. The salad was a very large portion, the appetizer was the buffalo mozzarella, simply 3 slices of tomatoes, 3 basil leaves, and 3 slices of mozzarella and lots of olive oil, no flavor! About 30 mins later our entrees arrived, i had the grilled salmon, it was swimming in oil from the garlic, green olive and tomatoes that were put on top of it, it was over cooked, what chef in their right mind would overcook a piece of fish and serve it, let alone try to cover it up with a oily mess, it came with some vegetables swimming in more oil with no flavor or seasoning. My wife had the lobster ravioli and it was actually pretty good. We also had dessert, i had the tiramisu and my wife had the canoli, both desserts were good.
On a recent weekend trip to Las Vegas, our group of 7 people - including our 7 year old - felt like having dinner at a low-key casual spot that wasn't too pricey and wasn't inside one of the casinos - hard to find considering we were on the strip. Bonanno's was a perfect choice! Not too loud and not too quiet, they serve unpretentious comfort food that's good.
Our group was 8 people in size, sat next to the kitchen and noise level was just right. You didn't have to raise your voice to be heard, the place is clean and nicely decorated. We shared a couple of appetizers (meatballs and goat cheese and tomatoes) which were both very tasty and my wife and I had lasagna and chicken Parmesan. Portions were just right and the appearance and taste were great. No problem recommending the place for the food and surprisingly for Vegas Strip, the cost. Entree average is about $16-17 and the service was excellent and timely.
Have been a few times now and loved it each time! We live in Vegas, and can honestly say they are the real deal. Great food, service, pricing and a view! Highly recommend for any Vegas visitors! Use Open Table to make a reservation for groups larger than 6 if you can. Kind of a smaller place, but only in physical size.
This was my husband's birthday weekend in Las Vegas and one of his favorite dishes is Pasta Carbonara. Not many places have this as it is labor intensive and really cannot be fixed in mass in advance like other sauces. Bonanno's had it, so I knew this is where we we go on the strip after our show. We both ended up with it and it was so wonderful. It is not something you would want on a regular basis as it is so very rich, but what a treat, especially for him. This is a very simple restaurant with a pizzeria adjacent. Nothing fancy, but great food, value and service. The waitress knew it was his birthday and topped off this meal with a complimentary cannoli!! Felt like we were in New York!! We will be back. Great spot after an early show too. Only issue was not knowing about parking. We didn't know about the 'secret' parking lot just behind the restaurant on E. Harmon and we parked in the structure behind that seemed a mile away and was an obstacle course to get to the restaurant which is right on the corner, facing the street and not in the indoor shopping mall.
We were pleasantly surprised and thrilled to find a fun place with excellent food and a great atmosphere! Not only can you park behind the building off the strip, you can eat outside or inside the restaurant, or choose to have the pizza in a casual atmosphere.
Our waiter Michael was attentive, friendly and informative. The manager Jason came over to us to speak and that was a nice surprise. What a wonderful time we had sipping $4 wine and happy about not paying hotel prices.
Being Californians we plan to visit every time we get to Las Vegas, if not for the meatballs, but also the chicken dishes!
We were in Vegas and had a Groupon for this Italian restaurant right on the strip. When we checked out the reviews, they all seemed good, so we thought we'd give it a try. From the complimentary large sized garlic rolls to the chicken piccata, pasta bolognase, finishing up with cappuccinos, tiramisu and their dark chocolate cake (enough for two), everything was delicious! We will go again when we return to Vegas, even without a Groupon😄. The service was amazingly attentive and wonderful, which is not always expected when you come to a restaurant with a discount coupon. Did not try the pizza which is on the menu, but they also sell it by the slice at their pizzeria next store.
I loved the food! The waitress, and servers were also awesome! I live in New York City and if I closed my eyes when eating last night I could honestly say the food was like New York but BETTER!! Yummy the salmon piccata was scrumptious! I just polished off my leftover tiramisu for breakfast!! Huge portions!
We were looking for an Italian restaurant that was close to our show later that evening in Planet Hollywood. We had also been eating at very fine dining restaurants the previous few nights, so we were interested in someplace simpler and less expensive.
Bonanno's sure fit the bill. The ambiance of the restaurant was like a small Italian one in New York or San Francisco. The food was delicious and featured all the old standbys as you would imagine, Lasagna, Eggplant, Spaghetti, etc. Wines were mostly Italian from several regions, but they did have a Cabernet from Napa (Rutherford) called Bon Annos (good year) which was outstanding and reasonably priced ($48) for such a good wine. Service was very fun and friendly but knowledge about the wines was somewhat limited.
It turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Vegas !
Received wrong drinks, so then the wait staff had issues with each other; was told the specials and then ordered one and then was told it was out after the appetizer, so had to choose something else; waiter told hostess to bring us a menu to choose something else and she brought it to the table behind us that already had menus in hand asking if they needed another menu; wait staff was slow and never checked on us; saw manager wipe a table with his hand rather than use any type of cleaner; the food was average
What you'd expect from a basic Italian place in Vegas - good food, good portions and they worked hard to get us out on time for a show, but nothing super-special. Good value and one of the few kid-friendly places we found in Vegas that were truly kid-friendly.
We went to Bonanno's with a group of 6 people to celebrate a birthday. Finding a reservation space that will take 6 people in Vegas was a hard find. We sat down and were served quickly. Food was better than expected and portions were moderate and filling. The special that night was Veal Parm which is the birthday boy's favourite - it came out with a plate full of veal and a side of spaghetti. Other favourites, the lobster ravioli, lasagna and pizza. Great spot! At the end the owner or manager came out and could barely speak English through his strong Italian accent and asked how the food was - which was awesome! The only complaint, we wished the environment was a bit more upscale to match the fantastic food. Great find in Vegas!
I would highly recommend this restaurant. From the appetizers , through the entree's to the huge portions of dessert. An excellent meal. Our server was very friendly and helpful with our choices. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in a New York Minute !!
The server did not make us aware that gratuity was auto added to check and when I questioned her she responded rudely that it was printed on the bottom of menu. I almost double tipped and I believe our server was trying to work it so we did double tip. Food was good and service was rushed
The Open Table reviews were on the mark. Don't let the quaint neighborhood family style decor fool you. This place hits the mark on every level. The food and service are excellent, noise level was perfect for our party of 6 to share in great conversation, and the prices reasonable. The restaurant was a little hard to find because it's not in a hotel. Use the Walgreens on the corner as a landmark and then walk a few steps down E. Harmon. You don't want to miss this restaurant when dining in Vegas.
Staff were courteous, friendly, and gave great recommendations on the menu. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The tiramisu was a little disappointing though. The texture is wonderful but the flavor was lacking. But otherwise was a great experience. Highly recommended!
