Bon Vie - Columbus
Bon Vie's hardwood floors, large antique mirrors, tin ceilings and zinc topped bar make the perfect home for its moderately priced, creative cuisine. Bon Appetit!
I reserved it for our 12th anniversary and the atmosphere was amazing, weather was very helpful to set outside . The staff were so welcoming and addressed our occasion . I knew ahead - upon reviewing their menu- of what I will be ordering and I did not regret it.
Lunch menu may not have many options but the ones it had were so cute and nutritious .
We simply loved it.
Merci Beu quo Bon Vie
This was our first visit but knowing it was part of the Brio Group, we were confident the food would be good. We were not disappointed. Everything was served with perfect timing by Mike, who also helped us choose menu items by making recommendations. The crab cakes were delicious, calamari tender and cooked right, the aioli (get extra!) was something I wanted also for the frites. We will look forward to going again. The baguette could have been better but everything else was so good, who cares.
Frankly, I would rate this bistro as "mediocre" at best. There are better places (inexpensive or expensive) to spend your money on a much better meal. Won't go back.
We had a reservation but had to sit at the bar tables. Worst service ever when here. Appetizer was cold and sent back and without even an offer to make it right. Asked for bread three times and when it was finally served it tasted wrong.
Our server brought our salad and we didn’t see her again until the bill came. I couldn’t get anyone to get us another drink for the entire dinner. Very disappointed.
Welcome lunch for a new team member. Service was excellent, but one of our guests found a hair in their salad. The server took care of replacing the salad immediately, but still marred the experience a bit.
Service was a bit slow. I waited 15 + minutes for a Bloody Mary.
It was a great experience! Service was outstanding, the environment was amazing!!! Made my birthday dinner a night to remember!!!
Good place to try something new. I would say go during the day because evening gets really busy!
Everything was fine but on the reservation I noted it was a birthday and no one was aware.
Great experience for a party of 9, for a birthday!!
I brought some business associates from out of town. We were celebrating the retirement of one of them. The food was great as was the ambiance. All of us enjoyed the evening.
Just barely ok
We had Shrimp & Grits, and the Lobster Bisque. Awesome!
Good meal. Food was well prepared and tasty. My meat loaf dish was delicious.
The service was exceptional, the food and atmosphere were very nice.
Food was very good and prices were outstanding...one meal was forgotten, and arrived late, however manager acted with grace and was efficacious, not charging for the one meal
Always a great experience here! The staff is top notch and the atomosphere is classy, but casual. Our go-to restaurant at Easton.
Our waiters name was Chris. He was awesome and attentive.
Thank you for accommodating our large crowd in the round table room.
excellent timely service and food was outstanding. great place to eat. i also liked the on line reservation app.
A bit of wait for food and bill, but otherwise good.
First visit. Nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was good.
Good service and ambience but the quality of the food was lacking.
We celebrated my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary and everyone was very attentive. We were seated in a private area that allowed us to celebrate! Service and food was fantastic!
We celebrated a birthday and they offered special dessert and our service was excellent.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was PHENOMENAL!
Normally we love the food but everything tasted burnt in our meal. Maybe a new kitchen staff.
Service at both the bar and for dinner was moderately attentive. Lack of attention didn’t appear to be due to being overly busy — just moderately interested in us.
Our menu selections were good.
Food was great and a great price for lunch!
Booked this after walking by and thinking it looked like a fun place to try. Arrived in time for our reservation and were told they were running behind. We were finally seated about 30 minutes after reservation time. We were shown to table; and we waited quite some time for anyone to come greet us. Finally ordered drinks; took about 10 minutes to come but we had still not received any silverware, even after the bread came out...no napkins, plates or utensils. I ended up having to ask for them. We ordered all food at once given the time we had already spent there; took about 15 minutes for the appetizer, then soup and salad about 15 minutes after that. Then more waiting. Dinner arrived with over-cooked filet, undercooked fries; pasta carbonara was very good. Waiter tried to manage the situation but it was really beyond salvage, surely from a time perspective and partly from a meal perspective. Waiter offered to take $2.95 off of bill due to the undercooked fries but it couldn’t compensate for this really poor experience. Even worse, a party of 10 who has reservations made over a week prior were forced to wait almost two hours (!) for a table that never became free. The wait staff finally sat them somewhere else. We overheard this while we were waiting. I hope someone at least comped their meals...totally unacceptable. We will most likely look to dine somewhere else next time.
Bon Vie was perfect. Traveling from out of town, I made reservations through open table and was very happy with my choice. The restaurant has a comfortable ambiance. We had some excellent menu choices and everyone in our party was happy. I had the French onion soup and it was excellent, not overly salty like some restaurants. Everything else we ordered was equally as good. Our server, David, did an outstanding job. He was helpful and efficient without being hovering. He was charming and made us all feel welcome. We loved our experience and will come again when we’re in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food. We’re low carb and appreciates their modifications to make it for our desires.
Best beef stroganoff I've ever had! Husband enjoyed the n.y. strip. We had to ask for bread but when it came it was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return.
Everything was great from making the appointment to the waiter and the food
Wonderful time. My favorite Valentines Day ever! Great service great food...lovely time!❤️
Ordered the Brie Fondue with crudites. The sauce was good but it was served with only sliced apple a broccoli. Really? I got the French Onion soup which was OK. My wife got the soup of the day which was also OK. Wife got the Shaved Vegetable Salad which she said had nothing to do with vegetables. I got the Cobb which was bland and seemed like it was made the day before. This restaurant was pretty decent 10 or 15 years ago but is a joke now.
We came for Valentines Day. We arrived early for our 7:00 reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. The entrees were excellent! We had the mascarpone cheesecake and coffee with Baileys for dessert. A delightful evening. The restaurant is well-named!
Noise level was a little high. Didn't appreciate the view of the kitchen.
loved it - very quick and the flat bread was delicious!
