Bon Appetit Ratings and Reviews
Waterfront makes it a beautiful place to dine however, food is very overpriced for what is served. I had no complaints about food, but it is just overpriced. Restaurant is nice and piano music was lovely but we were placed next to the bar where the bartender was loud. It really took away from the experience. I would hesitate to return for these reasons.
We were vacationing in Clearwater, Fla., and went to Bon Apetit because we have enjoyed previous evening meals there, watching the sunset over the bay.
My wife had the chicken pecan rice dish which was delicious.
I had a wedge salad topped with a generous serving of lobster.
We were entirely pleased with the food, its presentation and the service.
And the ambiance is difficult to beat.
We dined at Bon Appetit for our Thanksgiving dinner. The table had a great view of the water, and the surrounding tables were not so close as to hear other people's conversations. The service was exceptional. Reyna was our server and she was efficient, professional, and friendly. The food was served hot and the presentation was enticing. We had the turkey dinner, and with the exception of no mashed potatoes, was excellent. Overall, we had a lovely experience. We had been to Bon Appetit on a previous Thanksgiving with my mother. She passed away in August, and we know she was with us there in spirit. Thank you for a memorable day.
We were there for Thanksgiving which was a very expensive (not surprising) four course meal. The view was amazing and our waiter Manuel took great care of us. He was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, but it was a bit much to have the age cutoff at 10 years old for pricing the same as an adult considering how expensive the meal was ($65 pp). It was the perfect setting for this occasion and we were happy to have someone else prepare our Thanksgiving meal so we could focus on getting to the airport on time!
Great outdoor dining experience. If there were any flaws in the meal (none that I noticed), the weather, water views, and service obscured them. I really like this place for a nice afternoon lunch, maybe a couple glasses of wine, etc.
It gets a little crowded as far as parking so it’s really helpful that they have a privately shared lot with the hotel next door.
My wife's petit filet mignon had gravy on it and was a bit over cooked. My hamburger and french fries were good, but their wasn't a lettuce wedge, as was previously on the menu for this entree. I was looking forward to the wedge and ordered blue cheese dressing for it. I thought I would receive it on the lettuce wedge. The cook placed too much blue cheese on my hamburger. The waiter didn't explain the entree and because I had too much blue cheese on my hamburger, I had acid re-flux all that night while I was sleeping. This was very discomforting!
One of our favorite places to just get a bite or enjoy a great meal for a special occasion. Service is outstanding. Mixologists are fantastic and friendly and keep things going at the unique bar. This it the place for a romantic dinner and a beautiful sunset. We were blessed with a beautiful rainbow as well this weekend. Dunedin's Best.....
Another special evening viewing the sunset from the window table......
Food was excellent.....
Your website states that happy hour is until 7 pm.....That is incorrect. I ordered a second glass of wine and it was before 7, but charged regular price, not happy hour price.
The food was average at best. My wife ordered filet mignon meadium rare and it came rare. They took it back for more cooking and it came back in pieces much better. The better restaurants would have replaced the steak with a new one. I had the duck and it was very dry. It was set on top of tiny sweet potatoes and was tasteless. We both had onion soup which was the worst we have ever had.
We love trying a new place every week. Heard many good things and the reviews I researched were good as well....so we gave it a try. So happy we did!
The seating view, the staff, wine and food were all great. This is definately a place we will come back to over and over.
