I don't know why this restaurant is so highly rated. It was recommended by my son who is a real foodie and his recommendations are usually right-on. But this time he was way off. Tandori chicken was dry and had a funny taste. The curries we had were pretty lacking in flavor, an amazing feat for Indian food. Naan was Ok but nothing great. The yogurt condiment was watery. Overall I think I am being generous rating it as average. To provide perspective, I am a lover of Indian food and get it frequently. As a general proposition I am a good evaluator of food as I travel extensively and have had many of the world's cuisines in their courty of origin (my best experiences with Indian food were on my many trips to England).

During our eating around the world experience we found this restaurant on Yelp and it had good reviews. My wife had never had Indian before, so we were excited to find this restaurant that had a champagne brunch. Food was buffet style which allows you to pile up on the foods that you like. Would definately repeat.

The best Indian buffet in the south bay. Most items, great and consistent quaity. They always treat our family very well. Kid friendly, and they have a banquet space that is always booked. We've tried them a and this is our utimate Indian spot. Love them!

Spinach paneer and mango lassi's were delicious. The chicken was a little dry.

This is the best Indian restaurant in the South Bay, without a doubt. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and so skilled at proper service.

We had an incredible dinner. The waiter walked us thru the dinner and we got the best combination. The 3 of us had plenty to eat with the recommended dishes. The food was very flavorful.
They really took care of us.

It's hard to find good Indian cuisine in the Torrance area. I've only had a better lamb curry once, and that was in Japan! I will definitely be back.

The food was great but the waiter was the best. He explained the menu and we ordered a combination dinner that we perfect for 2. He remembered everything we ordered and guided us thru the entire ordering process. We ate the whole thing!

Bombay Tandoori has the most flavorful Indian food in all of the South Bay. Manager Robbie is so warm and charming, he is a bonus to overall dining experience

The restaurant is part of a hotel and it looks very no-frills, but the food and service are excellent. I was surprised, as I went for the lunch buffet, which is usually hit or miss. Also, I went with an Indian friend of mine who is VERY discriminating of Indian cuisine and by his words, "this is the real deal." Not a great place for a first date, but a definite must for foodies.
