Bombay Palace - Beverly Hills
Exceptional in every way. Best Indian food on west side of LA, hands down. We’ve been to many and this is the best.
Exceptional food in a gorgeous setting, Bombay Palace continues to deliver the finest Indian experience after many years. Perfect for a special occasion or to treat yourself to flavors that go beyond your typical curry house.
It was a great experience. Good was great and the appetizers and tea were one of the best. The ambience and service was great. We had gone for an anniversary and they brought out a good sparkler for the occasion
I think I'm at risk of overusing superlatives for this place. Truth is I do generally have a weakness for Indian cuisine (as well as Italian, Thai, Jamaican, and French, to name a few, lol.), but the quality here is really is exceptional. Time after time, eating here, I've found myself saying, wow this is the best [insert name of dish] I've ever had! I came this time to take advantage of the birthday coupon they have been sending to me faithfully every year, ever since my first visit over fifteen years ago (faithfully, despite the fact that it would go unused more often than not). My choice for this birthday dinner was Lobster Masala with Kashmiri Pulao... and, yes I have to go there... IT WAS THE BEST!! Prices here are definitely a little higher than average for Indian fare, but a) the quality is higher than average, and b) it is Beverly Hills. WORTH IT!!!!
Bombay Palace is consistently excellent. It is rarely crowded, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere is conducive to conversation. The service is warm and attentive, and the food is spectacular. They happily honor requests for preferred spice level, they explain the many unusual dishes, and the food is complex and delicious. The only negative - they do not have valet parking.
The best Indian in Los Angeles, maybe in the U.S.!
Make it a point to visit every time I’m in LA. Food and service are great- family owned gem in Beverly Hills.
Great lunch buffet, good and not expensive. Perfect for a business meeting, quiet and confortable. Easy parking.
Family run for decades. Service was warm and attentive and informed. Dishes were all memorable. Top quality ingredients and superb preparation. Interior beautiful - beautiful figurines inset in the walls, softly lit. Just a wonderful place. Will be back often.
The best food and the most elegant Indian restaurant in LA. Been there many times and will be back
The best Indian restaurant in LA with great food and great service.
We had a great experience visiting this place. Food was excellent! Nice ambiance and friendly service.
Poor food and very expensive. Charged for everything. $150 for 2 people with on one cocktail each.
Absolutely delicious food and the ambience in the restaurant is so serene with soft relaxing lighting. Service was very nice too the host is very kind.
We were warmly welcomed and the history of this building was explained in detail. We felt right at home, catered to, and appreciated the entire night. My date and I had an exceptional experience, and we would gladly come again.
My favorite Indian restaurant anywhere! I can’t say enough great things about Bombay Palace!
Friday night is curry night in the uk so we looked for an Indian restaurant in Beverly Hills. Weren’t disappointed, a bit quiet but people were lovely and food and service great. Glad we found it
Although they accepted the booking at 2:30 the called at 2:20 asking where we were. Then when we arrived at 2:23 we were warned to order quick. In a rude manner.
We dine at various restaurant in the Beverly Hills area often as we do live in the area. It was our first time dining at this restaurant, we have eaten Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine many times and the food taste was good but it was poor service, the server needs better training and does not match the type of service we comet to expect from the area. The service was slow and not professional. The server also sat our food they had placed in a to go bag at the end of our lunch on the floor next to the table then walked off. Upon looking at the food after we returned home I noticed this Indian cuisine restaurant actually used Chinese take out style food containers the kind you expect at a lower end fast food restaurant to pack their food. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Very good Indian food. Loved the Tikka Masala, naan, samosas. Good deep flavors.
Best Indian food in Los Angeles! Always perfect!
The best Indian restaurant in the U.S.!!!
We had a wonder evening. We haven’t been there in a long time. We new the owners before they had children. It was
So nice to see him. He recognized my husband. He now Owens Saddle peak lodge. Can’t wait to go there💜
We were here 5 years ago when we first tried Bombay Palace. We were back and decided to go again. It was everything we had remembered the first time. EXCELLENT!
Beautiful restaurant with very good food. Maybe it was a slow night, but it was not very crowded for a Saturday night. Unusual.
Great Indian restaurant and cozy ambiance. I loved the food. Would definitely go back!
The best Indian restaurant in LA!!!
I had my wedding dinner here. It a great place to have best Indian food. They are here for 34 years. Food and Service were excellent.
Dinner out with your loved one or with a couple of friends, the place is special! You will have a great service and a special touch from the owner, great place!
A family owned and operated business that takes great pride in their food and their guests.
After moving to LA from the east coast, and also after having lived in London where I had amazing Indian cuisine, I was anxious to try this spot based on the ratings. It was absolutely delicious and I will be returning soon. We had three different plates, all of which were shared as well as appropriate side dishes and wines. Every bite was exactly as I had hoped. I definitely recommend having dinner here!
We try to get to Bombay Palace whenever we are in the Beverly Hills area at dinner time. Love their authentic cuisine and atmosphere.
I come here knowing I can always count on high quality cuisine. Their Butter Chicken rocks!
Excellent Indian food in a very nice setting. We dined here for our anniversary and had a very fine dinner. I can recommend the Onion Bhaji appetizer and for an entree the Butter Chicken and the Leg of Lamb. Enjoyed the carrot pudding dessert. Fine service. This restaurant has been in business over 30 years and deserves your patronage if you like quality Indian Cuisine.
Great food a very reasonable price . A family run restaurant and it show, with great service.
Food was exceptionable ! Total value here!
Every part of our meal was exceptional. We had butter chicken, tandoori chicken, lamb vindaloo, vegetable biryani, and Aloo gabi--a cauliflower and potato side with masala seasoning. Every year we come back here in February for a special night with the dearest of friends, and every year we adore the food and the people of Bombay Palace! Thank you!
Delicious food, wonderful personal service, fair prices, unusual building that really added to the atmosphere. We especially loved the tandoori vegetables; as a vegetarian, I’d never had tandoori before and this was sizzling and flavorful. We will come here again!
Food is quite good, very tasty but nothing exceptional. Service was rather preoccupied to pay attention.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Calm and sere environment
Excelente comida y ambiente MUY recomendable!!
