   We have been visiting Bombay Palace for around 12 years and it has never failed to live up to the excellent rating I gave it back then. We have three children and, when we first visited, the youngest was 4 years old and was treated very well! I find the service level just perfect, there is always a waiter waiting for a nod of the head or a wave but never any pressure to finish and move on. The food is presented very well and is full of the flavours of different spices. There are many options including speciality dishes and the waiters are always there to give advice and appear to enjoy doing so. You would expect to pay far more for the quality of the food here, there is nothing that I can say that is negative and we will continue to visit on any special family occasion.    Booked late on New Year's eve not expecting to get a table but surprised how easy OpenTable booking was. The staff were very welcoming when we turned up and gave a good service throughout, food was excellent and we were not hurried or rushed out the door. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes a good Indian meal.

   I have been coming here since my youngest was 5 years old (he is now 15) and we have always been warmly received and well looked after. The service is at just the right level - not too intrusive, too slow or too fast. They are happy to recommend alternative dishes to those who would like to try something different based on what they normally prefer and I have never known one not to be well received! The food is always very tasty, fine quality and excellently presented with options different to those that you would find in your standard Indian restaurant. I consider it far above the level you would expect from the price you pay. Highly recommended.

   Quite expensive for an indian cuisine but their service is attentive and impressive. Great ambiance too. We shared a rice, a roti, fish curry, mutton and an okra dish between two people and could not finish. Portions may not look moderate initially but trust me they are super filling and tasty. Including drinks the bill cost around £80 in total. Ideal for business meals and for diners who do not wish to smell like curry coming out of an indian restaurant. Highly recommend.

   Busy Saturday night but we had three courses in under an hour. Didn't ask for break as we hadn't eaten here before. Main course came straight after starters cleared so must have already been cooked anyway. Food ok - not spicy enough.

   Our first time and we will return! Great food and wonderful service. One waiter in particular was so smiley and funny, kept us amused and we left very happy!

   We booked bombay palace for a quick lunch. We ordered the lamb kuchari and sag aloo amongst others. The lamb was very good, but the sag aloo lacked flavour. The service was very good. We would consider an evening meal rather than lunch.
