Very nice outdoor dining, enjoyed the starters and mains. The staff was very nice and accommodated us very well. Would recommend if looking for somewhere to go on a date/get-together with friends. Slightly expensive but you get what you pay for! Also received some complimentary poppadoms!
Fantastic experience as always here! Amazing food, professional service and great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again...
Our Sunday Brunch was the set menu but as always service was excellent and food was delicious , can’t wait o go back to enjoy normal Sunday Brunch Buffet.
we have been client of Bombay Brasserie for 25 years , and were excited to come back .
not only the atmosphere was terrible , service was very bad and food mediocre .
I hope it will get soon better
We were celebrating my wife’s Birthday and our 17th wedding anniversary which fall on the same day . The brunch made it a memorable experience . The food was delicious and the service excellent .
Beautiful restaurant, spacious & felt very safe.
The 'buffet' is served to your table and you can ask for more of your favourites!
Enjoyable lunch...missed dinner!
My favourite Indian resturant in UK.
Really faultless service and food. Benny (Manager) and his team provided fantastic service.
Food was incredibly poor and dry. Small portions and a bit of basic salad on the side. No good display of food.
Table setting was very basic too.
Refused to take our coats, made us hang our things on the backs of chairs.
Completely not worth the money at all! Very very experience for the below average experience we had.
Would not recommend to anyone.
The restaurant was not fully operational, yet serving, as a result there were mosquitos and flies, which completely ruined our celebration dinner. Starters were good, but main course was just ok.
We had an excellent lunch here on Sunday. Lots of dishes of tasty deliciousness! Very Charming staff and attentive service without being over the top. Can’t wait to go back.
Fantastic ambience and quality. Weekend brunch is great value.
Service was excellent and would recommend for any occasion
I have Visited Bombay Brasserie for over 20 years. I highly recommended this to a friend who turned 50. I was assured the branch would be just as nicely presented complying with Covid. Unfortunately the food was cold and the service was definitely questionable.
Delicious food and great service! Looking forward to visiting again.
Food was very ordinary- did not taste great. I have been to Bombay Brassiere many times in the past both individually and with my colleagues but this time it less than ordinary. I would not want to go again.
Expensive, but still good. Some noisy groups. No piano anymore.
Excellent food and service in an impressive room.
First visit to a restaurant in London since March! Covid precaustions at restaurant was fantastic. Food was good. Service was a little slower than usual I think maybe due to lack of staff as covid may have made an impact. Overall, would come again.
Went for the weekend brunch for my birthday. The appetisers and starters were outstanding. The main courses were excellent but 2 were not brought out. Desserts were satisfying. The masala chai and indian filter coffee were disappointing, the tea was overpowered by cardamom and the coffee tasted only of evaporated milk, both were lukewarm. The restaurant was very busy so it was difficult to get attention from the staff who were all very helpful and always smiling.
Nice building, pleasant room. Good Food and Service. There are a couple of places better for similar price in my opinion however this was a good high end Indian
The restaurant was lovely and the ambience . Was just let down by the quantity of the dishes against the cost. It was very expensive for what we got. I have had excellent indian cuisine for much less. But was an experience.
We are very critical about food but no doubt Bombay Brasserie is the best upscale Indian restaurant with best Indian food in London!
Service was sadly very disappointing, food was excellent
Good to be back here and so happy it is open for business. My pepper chicken was just that-it really had an overriding taste of black pepper which masked everything else. Shame really.
Otherwise delicious mimi papadums with excellent mango chutney, very good vegetable sides and naan.
good food, service a little bit confused and too much noise in the restaurant
Food is excellent and wine list is good. Good atmosphere and service. Liked the lamp chop starter especially. Went well with a Brouilly.
I have been to the Brasserie several times over the years and it has always delivered a consistent high quality product.
Weekend brunch is a great option and value for money for people who like to try new and different dishes.
They catered to our dietary requirements with tasty alternative options and the great thing is, you can order more of any dish you wish!
Must try at least once.
I have been dining at your restaurant frequently since the 80s! I particularly liked the buffets at the weekend and have introduced many of my friends and colleagues to the dining experience at Bombay Brasserie.
I appreciate that since the pandemic it is not possible to have the same standards but I was very disappointed this time with the food that was offered.
The vegetable dish with broccoli and cauliflower was unappetising. The only other fresh vegetable dish was a warm salad. The chicken and lamb dish were tasty. The rice with quorn (I think) just didn’t go with the rest of the dishes. I asked for some steamed rice and It arrived quickly. The service was very good with all waiters wanting to make us feel welcome and have a good experience.
I was also surprised that the price per person had been increased despite the economic situation we’re facing at the moment. I believe that VAT has been reduced to 5% for the hospitality trade and therefore expecting customers to pay more towards the meal is a little unfair.
Socially distanced brunch which was a buffet that came to us at the table. Very attentive service and delicious food. I had the veggie version and my guests had the non-veg option. The small plates and starter bits were absolutely scrumptious especially the paneer. The bhel wasn’t great because it was too dry and had far too much puffed rice. However all the main meals were delicious particularly the okra. Nice range of desserts too. Found the cocktails a bit pricey but I guess that’s London prices.
Was really well made food and quality
The service was amazing, my family felt warm in the restaurant and as the air conditioning was at the lowest temperature, the manager brought an independent AC unit. Credit to the chef as the food was brilliant. My family and I would highly recommend
We thoroughly enjoyed the brunch and its rich variety, now served at the table rather than self-service.
Food very nice. Had tasting menu but had to ask for menu back as the waiters were not announcing the dishes. Lovely place but extremely expensive.
It was a great pleasure to re-visit the Bombay Brasserie after a long absence. We enjoyed the ambiance, the food was excellent as was the service.
Maybe restaurant needs some modernising.
We had high expectations for this restaurant.
I found the good very average - there was nothing exceptional and very disappointed
amazing food we really enjoyed it and very nice staff
I’ve been to Bombay Brasserie 5+ times in the last few years and this was the first time when the service was shockingly poor! No one greeted at the door, had to wait for over 10 mins and then table service was super slow and lacklustre - they kept forgetting our bar orders and communication was utterly poor! I highly doubt if I can go there regularly!
very good helpful staff, good food. Staff knowledgable on food and also very supportive.
Unfortunately a dissapointing experience which was the opposite of our last experience at Bombay Brasserie.
Service at the bar was slow wnd compromised.
As part of our dinner experience - of the 10 dishes we ordered (starters & mains) only 3 were served as expected.
I am happy to share more detailed feedback if this is sought by the restaurant management team.
