Unfortunately I got quite sick after eating here. I thought the food on the buffet was very overcooked.

lunch buffet was a nice assortment, everything you expect and a few extra nice touches. you get naan with the buffet, too! server was attentive and kept up with clearing and refills. Not formal, but much nicer than the other Indian place in the next stripmall over. Would recommend for a friendly lunch.

Used open table to make sure we could get in on Mother's day but this restaurant is a regular haunt for us. Meat and vegetables well cooked and sauces out of this world. Spice levels adjusted to your individual tastes. Great drinks at the bar, quiet with a soft ambiance, good service - everything you would want in a regular restaurant.

Great food and service as always. This time, the female owner was out and about saying hello to ALL patrons. That's a huge change to the male manager that picks and chooses the tables he visits.

We had a bad experience. We were there for a long time. Service was very slow, never received our appetizer, or Naan, or raita or chutney. Chicken Tiki Masala was different than before at this restaurant, very tough, with lots of gristle Although the manager apologized and comped the chicken, we felt like we had wasted our evening. We have eaten there many times and previously had good experiences.

This was a really nice Indian Bristo for a dinner date. The staff was friendly and food was great. I will be back for lunch meetings as I don't work far from location.

Not very good Indian food. Menu not very interesting. Go to Sitar if you want Indian in Nashville. It was open and convenient to Cool Springs.

I've been a passionate follower of Indian food for many years and I was so surprised to find truly excellent regional Indian food in a Cool Springs strip. The service was outstanding and attentive. The decor is muted chic but not self-conscious. And the food - customized to your preference of spiciness - is absolutely the real deal. Complex and delicious, prepared in traditional means, it is worth the drive. Highly recommended!

Great lunch buffet. Better than I had remembered! There could have been more chicken in the curry but very impressed at how everything was allergy labeled. Very yummy!

Bombay Bistro is a great place to eat if you like Indian food. It is a family run business and they strive to make sure you have a great meal. Also you have to try the Bombay Blues cocktail. Sort of a Long Island Iced Tea with an Indian twist.

This is some of the best Indian food I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh, delicious and delightfully spicy. They also have some interesting cocktails. Only downside was the wait. Our server was fine, but no apologies for the one hour wait despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't full. If you aren't in a hurry and/or starving, it might be worth the wait.

Valentine's Day dinner. Good selection on the menu and specials for the evening. Had the Bombay Chicken special. Taste was great, chicken was a little tough. It looked good but tasted like it was fatty. A more tender cut of meat or better cooked meat would have put the meal over the top. The Kingfisher beer is a big bottle. Big! Service was fantastic. Byron was very attentive, took our picture to celebrate the evening, and put fresh rice in our To Go container. He made the evening that much better and we made sure to tip him well for his hard work. Much appreciated!

I'm not personally a big fan of Indian food, but this place is definitely the best I've been to for that. Their garlic naan is delicious. The butter chicken was very good, and they control the spicy level to your preferred taste. Cocktails were pretty good, too. Definitely a date night spot - not very kid friendly (though we were there on Valentine's eve, so maybe lunch time is more kid friendly?)

I tried Bombay Bistro for the second time, but this time, I went on a weekend and brought two of my Indian friends with me. Just like the first time, the experience was great. The weekend buffet was outstanding with a variety of Indian cuisine. My friends were impressed and said that this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Nashville.

Keep up the great job!

I tried Bombay Bistro for the first time (01-08-2015) and I would say this is one of the best Indian food restaurants in Nashville. I went for lunch, and although the buffet was a bit pricy at $9.99 per person, it was well worth the price for the variety of food items offered. My Indian food experience was expanded by the appetizers, entrees, and desserts I have never tried before. The buffet choices were not limited to the Masala or Korma recipes that most Indian buffets offer. Also, the service was very good, the hostess was excellent and friendly, and the owner visited almost all the tables to say hello (he did not visit my table).

I will certainly come back and visit this restaurant the next time I am in the Franklin, TN area. Heck, I may make a special trip just to eat their food again. Thanks.

Too pricey, quality is poor and service poor. I have eaten at the smaller Indian restaurants and the food is better and cheaper. the other new Indian restaurant down the street close to walgreens, serves better portion and their service is unsurpassable!
I found Bombay Bistro folks to be haughty and obstinate in their dealings when questioned about what we were served. We had American guests for dinner and it was a total embaressment! Americans know no better and seem to like the food, but frankly, Bistro is out for us!! too bad lost a customer!!

Bombay depicts the total package....delish food, pleasant contemporary interiors and excellent wait staff.
The owners are from Southern Cal where good food was a given. They clearly put the total package together and brought it here to Tennessee. Every time the owners' son waits on us, we are pleased with the outcome of the food.
His recommendations are spot on.
Would prefer a bit more vegetables as part of any protein dish but the sauces are always delish.
Both tomato and lentil soups were creamy and very flavorful.

Bombay Bistro is a top notch Indian restaurant on the east side of I-65 in the Cool Springs area. Full bar, decent wine list. Great food from lamb dishes to garlic naan. They do a lunch buffet 7 days a week, which is unusual.

Having recently moved here from New York City, I'm used to the finest in Indian restaurants. After one disappointing meal after another I discovered Bombay Bistro. As good as any Indian I've had in New York or London, for that matter. If you're looking for the best Indian in Nashville this is the place. Namaste.

We are delighted to finally have found a great Indian restaurant in Cool Springs / Brentwood. We have dined at Bombay Bistro at least 6 times and have never been disappointed with food, bar or service. They have an excellent list of special Indian cocktails that always are flawlessly executed. Their breads are the best we have experienced anywhere, including Manhattan. And all entrees are excellent. We highly recommend our friends at Bombay Bistro!
