Wow. The service AND food was amazing. It was our first time out since the Covid-19 shutdown. The server was polite and gave tons of suggestions. Sanitizer as soon as you entered. Restaurant was spotless. The menu was a single use. Tables had santizer. New and updated menu. The Pav Bhaji was sensational. They even had Doubles, which are probably the best I've had in the GTA. Music was a good vibe.
Decent Indian restaurant. The tables on the parking. The food is not fancy but tasty. Overall - if you are looking for cheap place to sit in - this is it.
It was nice and not too hot when we were there, but the blaring 90s pop music may not be for everyone.
Services is excellent. Food is amazing and authentic. Need to go back to try other food on the menu!! Must go!!!
Went for a casual date night and we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Amazing service, even better food.
Lamb biryani wow. Butter chicken wow. Chilli chicken wow.... All with garlic naan... Best restaurant ever
Excellent food and good service.
They have butter chicken samosa's on a hidden menu. You have to ask for them. UNREAL.
Butter chicken samosa are amazing. Followed by a hakka style chilli chicken and butter chicken. Both being easily the best we have ever had. Garlic naan is so fresh. Might be the best Indian food we have ever had
Very cold inside restaurant
Absolutely lovely. Food, service, ambiance was all on point ... I will definitely be back
The rice was a little undercooked. The garlic naan was great. Good portion. Prefer the goat curry to lamb vindaloo.
Food is good as usual. Their beef samosas is pretty much why we go there. Love their usual dishes like Tikka Masala (chicken, shrimp, lamb). Our waitress was a bit of an air head. She rarely came by and we waited long to place an order or receive napkins, utensils, etc. Last time we were there, same waitress, same service level no matter how small or large the group size! She would give the water to another table when we ordered the water! The food would arrive and we would have no utensils. We ordered Indian beer as we wanted authentic Indian beer but they gave us an "Indian" beer made in Toronto. Don't waste your money on alcohol in this restaurant.
Had to go 2 nights in a row. Yes, that's how good it was the first time. Hands down the best butter chicken EVER
Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken , garlic naan... Wow. Absolutely mouthwatering.
Wonderful food, very tasty. Lovely decor, and great service.
Food, ambience, and everything was great. We were in no means in a rush, but the service (being greeted, getting water refills, receiving the bill, etc.) all took at least 2-3 times longer than any other restaurant we've been to, and we went at a time that there was only about 6 others in the restaurant. Overall, great food!!
Lamb Biryani was so flavorful and tender. Butter chicken is easily the best I have EVER had... With garlic naan
What a great surprise. We didn't have much expectations but it turned out to be one of the best Indian restaurants I ever visited. Very authentic.
Great food with amazing service. And the ambiance is very nice.
Amazing place for a casual date. Amazing food. Even better service...
A quick stop to grab a bite and they didn't disappoint. Good food. Good service and the mango beer was just outright AMAZING
Great food. Great service... Did I mention great food?
The service was a little slow as the main dishes came shortly after our appetizer which we had waited longer for than we would have liked to. That being said, the food and service was great nonetheless and I will definitely be returning!
Just amazing. Full of flavours. Customizable spice levels. Fresh. Hot.
Service was very slow. Short staffed. One person as greeter, waiter, phone and handling pick up orders. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks and we had to remind them.
Good indian food
Awesome food. Awesome service. Nice vibe in the restaurant. Reasonably priced. Easily my favorite Indian restaurant in Toronto
Excellent food and friendly service. Best butter chicken in Toronto! 👍
We’ve been to the restaurant a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. The food is very tasty, staff friendly and it’s quiet enough not to have to raise your voice to carry on a conversation.
It's always such an amazing time with our friends and family at Bombay Bhel. Great food, service and atmosphere.
Great beef samosas. Tandoori chicken was great - good sized portion too, lamb korma sauce was great but the meat was too tough to eat, so we exchanged it for chicken korma but then found that the sauce was not as tasty as with the lamb. Staff were excellent and added a complimentary naan for our troubles.
BEST Indian food we have ever had and we have eaten a LOT of Indian. Very accommodating to my allergies. Good vegan options. We will be back.
Had the beef samosa to start and they were fabulous. For my main course I had the Goat Curry and it literally reminded me of India but even better with a garlic naan. Followed that all up with this Mango Beer that was awesome! Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto.
Fantastic and authentic food. We have come back twice and the service and quality is consistently excellent. The lamb chops are awesome. It's great to listen to our servers recommendations. They helped select great dinners that are their house specialties. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Bombay Behl is a restaurant that our family goes to often. It is one of the best around and family run. The food is excellent always, very tasty and varied. My personal favourite is the butter Chicken - mild but yummy! There are so many choices!
The decor is nothing special but we don't go for the decor. For drinks they have Indian beer and canadian beer and everything in between.
If you are in the mood for indian food Bombay Behl is my recommendation!!
Ordered the butter chicken and beef curry for lunch and it turned out the chicken was a little too sweeten but still taste good while the beef was awfully salty... checked with the waitress, she took the dish back to kitchen and ‘replaced’ with another dish of beef curry to me also told me that it shouldn’t be that salty however she didn’t know why. Anyways, the ‘replacement’ came out and the taste of sauce was improved while the beef was still very salty inside so I realized they just dilute the sauce with the same meat content. It is true that it will take a while to cook a pot of tendered beef stew but if the whole pot has been overly salted then it shouldn’t be served to customer at the first place...
This was my first Indian Restaurant and it was a big hit....loved it. Definately will be going back.
