After waiting a few years to find our way to Bolete, we loved the total experience. The atmosphere and simplicity of the 200 year old structure, the caring, informative, fun attention by the wait staff, and especially the creative food and drink ensured our return. We began with cocktails who’s descriptions had us Googling a few ingredients until our server filled us in. They were interesting, seasonal flavors blended to perfection. The food was beyond our expectations and definitely, and with great delight- out of our comfort zone. We were celebrating 2 milestones and this was the perfect place for that or just Wednesday’s dinner! Thank you to Bolete for a fabulous, memorable dinner. See you again soon

This was to be an Anniversary Dinner. We drove up to a graveled parking lot facing huge garbage containers. Unsightly! Had it been raining we would have to walk into water puddles to reach the poorly painted entrance door. The ambiance in the so-called Four Stars Restaurant was almost identical to the Old Inn of the Falcon. Dressed up for the occasion we expected to be among relatively sophisticated patrons. Dress code and dignity for a so-called Four Stars restaurant, non existent! Our neighbors were a young couple in shorts and a so-so short dress engrossed in their cell phones. No other man had a jacket on, no lady with a nice dress.

We chose the full course, appetizers, main course, a wine glass, desert and coffee. I liked the coffee, everyting else was just acceptable, For the price we paid, $186. we could have had a much better dinner at the Edge, Bethlehem Hotel or Twisted Olives. Cannot understand who and why so many stars were assigned to this restaurant. We have traveled world wide and enjoyed eating at the best restaurants in Europe, particularly in Belgium, and consider Bolete to be a minor quality restaurant for the price we paid.

The food was without a doubt AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! Great menu, unique preparation, being able to order from the "bar" as well as dining room menu made the meal perfect for both my husband and I. The service was "fair" at best. Our waitress seemed to know several other guests and got hung up chatting at tables...we were left hanging quite a bit, including over 30 minutes after dessert before we could get the check...and we had to keep asking for water refills, so that 30 minutes was very long without anything to sip on or eat.

Amazing dinner at Bolete on a busy Friday night. Recommended dishes: asparagus salad, kimchi beef dumplings, soft shell crab and halibut. Service was attentive, wallet-friendly wine list. A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive.

Living closer to Philadelphia than to Bethlehem, we typically gravitate in that direction for fine dining. But having been to Bolete in the past, my wife and i knew it would be more than worth the trip: outstanding food, service, and ambience!

Came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. From service to the food, everything was fantastic. Bolete never disappoints. I love that their menu changes and there is always something new to try. Their soup is amazing and the presentation is spot on! This was the second time I ordered the scallops and they were just as good as I remember them. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. And the mint ice cream?!? So perfect!

This restaurant is cozy, inviting, and charming. The food is exquisite, so flavourful and carefully prepared. The pace is slow enough to fully enjoy the meal. Service is low key, but just right! I love that the food is locally sourced as well.

This restaurant is a gem. The food is incredible in a setting so charming. The service from the servers and hostess is smiley and friendly and beyond accommodating. Very unusual spot and truly an experience.

The food and service were fantastic. The menu was innovative and the dishes were perfectly executed. Our server was knowledgeable about wines and all of the menu items. The experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return!

Fantastic french-inspired food. The seared foie gras was a highlight. The flavors of the pan-seared salmon were carefully selected. The server was very professional but conversational when the subject turned to the industry. Extremely pleased to find this in an otherwise slightly overpriced, undervalued culinary area.

Bolete is a truly remarkable dining experience. The service is impeccable and the food truly amazing. The cocktails are world class, as is the wine list. Elegant farm-to-table with many home made items, like the rolls, and every ingredient is designed to create euphoria for your taste buds!! Erin is the most gracious hostess, and her staff is equally patient and attentive and informative!! We are lucky to have Bolete in our community!

LOVE this restaurant!! One of the best in the Valley. Made all the better for the Lee, Erin, and their incredible staff. If you're not local, it's worth the visit --make a reservation--
Food is always fresh and seasonal, cocktails are delicious.

We love Bolete. Every time we visit Bethlehem (once per month), we eat there. It is excellent for dinner or brunch. Highly recommended. Best in the region.

Bolete was amazing. From the home made dinner rolls to the earl grey sundae, everything was outstanding. The service was great-they even put your coat on for you as you are leaving. Hoping to go back and try eating in the bar area.

Bolete is the definition of the ultimate dining experience. Each dish is an explosion of flavors, color, and textures. The freshness of ingredients is evident in everything we order. Everytime!! Ambience, service, cleanliness are a 10! No 11! Our anniversary surprise meal ending were 2 Beach Blonde oysters sitting on a bed of crushed ice. As my husband and I don't eat many sweets, they knew we'd truly appreciate these. We'll be back again and again and would not hesitate to recommend Bolete. Erin and Chef Lee are outstanding hosts and we're so happy to have them close by.

Really enjoyed our Anniversary at Bolete! The food was fabulous, well presented and amazing flavors. Drove over an hour on recommendation to try...so glad we did! Well worth the trip. Doug our waiter was attentive and offered great selections on wine and dinner, thank you. We will be back!

The Bolete Tavern area is perfect setting on a cold night for their skillet roasted chicken with porcini mushroom dumplings and a big pour of bar tender Stephen's outstanding grenache vino tinto....

Over all experience was great. Food, service excellent. First time there so we didn’t know what to expect. We had reservations. We were seated in the bar area ( without being asked ) so it was a bit noisy from the bartender. A bit pricy but it was a special occasion. We will definitely return.

Went for brunch and would definitely recommend. We were seated prior to our reservation. Server was nice and professional. Cocktails a little slow but that would be really stretching it to find something wrong. The craft cocktails were unique and tasty. We had one that was very smokey with tequila. Very good. The salad was delicious. It was a caeser with mushrooms. excellent. The eggs chizmar excellent. Oysters were so tender and tasty. Mushrooms and biscuit delicious.

My partner had the Duck Hash and loved it. He hates runny egg yolks so they fried the egg hard rather than poaching. I would go back for it with the soft poached egg.

All in all loved it.
