Went for my birthday dinner and it was amazing as always. Took my dad for the first time and he loved it! He said it was not only great food but a great dining experience.

The service was professional and attentive, and the food is delicious. This is not a place to come and snack, this is a place for serious eating!

Overall one of my favourite places to dine in Calgary especially for birthday gatherings or romantic dinners and anniversaries. I usually request a quiet romantic booth and get a lovely spot every time. Absolutely awesome food!

Good food and service

We come here for every birthday and absolutely love it. Our waiter, Mark, is excellent! He seems to always be our waiter and we love it!
One thing we noticed this time was several of the meats were dry and over cooked. Not sure why. It has never been our experience in the past 4yrs.

Thank you for the great dinner. We had something to discuss as a family and Easter Dinner no one really was up to cooking so Bolero's was our choice. We have been there 5 times now and have even brought friends from BC there and they fell in love.

Amazing food as always! This was my 3rd visit, and it did not disappoint. I love the meat that comes around, I can’t pick a favorite, it’s all so good. But I can tell you that the Tres Leches Cake was still to die for. Mmm. It’s still on my last meal on earth list.

Two out of the 6 had been to boleros prior. Everyone enjoyed the food and service. The other 4 were still talking the next day about how great boleros was!!

This was our third visit to Belero. The food was fantastic. The only complaint we had is that the servers didn't stop by our table quite a few times even though our block was still on green so not sure why that happened. We would still recommend Belero to others though as the food is always outstanding.

We are a group of 5. We were celebrating a birthday. The meat was very bland. No flavour. Most of the meat came filled with blood and the skillets that were served were overcooked.
The price was too high for the quality of food we received.

A bit pricy but some of the best meat I have ever eaten. Not for everyday but for a special occasion, ohh yeah!!!

I was disappointed in my last visit at Bolero. The last time I was there it was an amazing experience. The food was great and the service was quick. This last time, I can't say the same. We had a moody waitress that treated us like crap for no reason, the meats were lukewarm at best, and a bunch of them were really undercooked. Also, we had to wait 15 minutes between meats. Big difference in dining experience and I don't know why. Step up your game, Bolero.

The premise of the restaurant is fantastic, and the service was very good. The food... some of the meat we were served was very good, others were bad cuts of meat, and were very tough. It unfortunately ranged from delicious to completely inedible which really ruined the dinner and overall experience. I wouldn't recommend Bolero due to the inconsistency of the food quality.

It's always a great experience at Bolero. They have wonderful service and the food is amazing. If you try their pineapple just once you will have cravings for life.

I had a surprise birthday for my husband here. Everyone just loved the food. Service was great and it was convenient for me to book the reservation online. We often do birthdays here in my circle of friends as it never disappoints!

Great dining. Great service, it’s not inexpensive though. You can’t afford to go once a week that’s for sure.

We were a little disappointed with the quality of the meats served at Bolero. This was once very good quality meats, however I think the cuts now must have gone down a notch. Just about every piece was chewy, fat and gristle. The salad bar was very good, however once again, some elements were missing (ie. smoked salmon). Service was very good. Cost cutting in Calgary. Too bad.

This was mine and my girlfriends 4th time there and we loved it all over again. Food and service was both amazing.

Service was not as good as previous years. We made it a habit to return here every year for my birthday and was always treated with a free bday dessert. This time around it seems like any other restaurant nothing special that separate themselves from the rest. When my wife informed the server of the event the server just nodded and continued on. Time for a change!

We were at Bolero for Sunday brunch. Very disappointed as they only had 2 servers serving the meat. Our waitress had too many tables so we got neglected. We will not be back for brunch. Pampas downtown is much better.

We were most disappointed with our experience at Bolero. I've been to other similar restaurants and have been wowed by the delicious foods. This was not the case at Bolero. All of the red meats were cooked improperly and carved in such a way that even though the meat was quite rare, it was tough and rubbery in texture.
The booth we were seated in was small and claustrophobia-inducing. Service was mediocre at best.
The only items we enjoyed eating were the bacon wrapped chicken, chicken wings, sausage, and pineapple. They only brought the pineapple around once during our entire visit.
The "hot" buffet items were barely warm and lacking flavour. There were no cheese and cured meats items as advertised on the website.
When we spoke with our main server about the subpar quality of the meats, we were met with a look of disdain.
The meal cost our family of 4 over $200 and we left feeling hungry and dissatisfied.
We will NOT be returning.

Myself and my husband ate here on Saturday and although it was very busy the food was hot and delicious and a very attentive waiter, swords of meat did slow down but we getting full anyway, will be back again for sure.

The food was one great taste after another. My wife had the seafood and raved about the lobster and crab. The staff were amazing and the young girl serving the food had a very fun, humorous personality. First experience there but not the last!

My favourite though is the BBQ pineapple!

I have been to Bolero several times, I was disappointed this time the Caiparinha cocktail was tasteless and full of ice. The meat service was very slow and several of the cuts were tasteless and or very greasy.

The difference this time was in the interim we had gone to the most famous churrasco in Rio de Janeiro and unfortunately Bolero do nor match up.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner. Was really looking forward to the sizzling cheese and fresh cheese bread but neither was available so was a little disappointed about that.

Meats were great and service was good ! We got there a little later so I think dinner would've been more memorable if we got in around 7/7:30 PM

An amazing dining experience. The buffet and meats were simply delectable! I would recommend it to all my friends, and I have!
