Just an average hotel dining experience. Too loud with several events and group meetings. Service could have been better. We had to find our own utensils. Just what I would expect eating at a hotel.

A lovely space with a very so-so environment. Wait staff doesn’t seem to care much, food mediocre with a limited menu of glorified bar food. No one seemed to know anything about gluten free protocol. Very boring.

This is my first restaurant review ever. It was the worst dining experience I have had in a long time, perhaps ever. I was meeting a date there and got there first. Sat at the bar. It was not crowed at all, although there was a private party in the dining room. Since it was not crowded at the bar at all, I felt the bartender took too long to come over and ask what I wanted. I also felt he was a bit “surly”, and if that is too strong he certainly was not at all friendly or gracious and gave me the impression that he wanted to be anywhere other than there. Once my date showed up he did get a little better with the rest of our order...more drinks and dinner, but I still think he was far from good. And the food was TERRIBLE. Then things just got worse. I don’t know what happened to that bartender because I actually don’t remember seeing him the rest of the night. But the next bartender was a total joke. He was younger and the first thing I noticed is that a couple of his buddies came in and sat next to us at the bar. They were drunk, loud, and obnoxious. But because they were his buddies, he just kept paying attention to them and talking to them as if nothing was wrong, and therefore not paying enough attention to us or the rest of the customers. I had all I could do to refrain myself from confronting those 2 bozos, as well as him. And at one point, to prove my point about his attention being focused on them, to prove my point I was tempted to sarcastically ask one of them if they could ask their bartender to get us a drink!! Before I left I should have demanded our entire dinner and drinks be free. I also think the rest of the staff and management should have told the 2 bozos to leave, and I think their buddy the bartender should be fired! Needless to say, never again!

Our food arrived over an hour after we were seated, though the restaurant was nearly empty. The service was appalling throughout, and when we’d finished, the server put a dirty plate on top of a half-finished meal before we had a second to ask him to let us take it home. The food was fine but the service so bad, we would not return.

Since we were staying in t be hotel we hit this bar/restaurant several times during our stay. we enjoyed our time at the bar and found the drinks to be reasonable and well made. However, we ate dinner here one night and ordered a steak. The quality of the meat left a lot be be desired. When I pay 50 dollars for a steak I expect a quality cut of meat. It was prepared properly and the rest of our food was good. I'd give this place a much better review if we had a quality cut of meat.

we went on sat night and I was looking forward to the live music, unfortunately there was a bat mitzvah party going on, so there was no band and this party took over half of the main restaurant. The food and service was excellent, but it was hard to make up for the 40s elevator music playing for the bat mitzvah party and the awkwardness of the scene that night. I will definitely return, but this time I'll make sure there isn't another party going on.

My fiancé and I were staying at Hotel Indigo as a possible hotel option for our upcoming wedding. While at the hotel, I decided to try BOKX 109 in hopes that all would work out as a rehearsal dinner restaurant. Upon entering we waited to be acknowledged at the hostess table however when we were, the hostess was very accommodating and friendly. Our waiter Joseph left us really questioning the restaurant. The reviews seemed decent but they did not live up to the standard of service that we received. We waited for long periods between his introduction, receiving our drinks and just checking in on us. It wasn't overly busy and there were plenty of staff working and we had to stop another waiter to take our order. Although the waiter walked by us numerous times and looked at us, he failed to check in. Our meal took an extremely long time to come out. The next time we saw the waiter, we had to stop him and ask for the check. I don't think we will be using the restaurant for any functions pertaining to the wedding.

I have been here a few times, the place is great to grab a drink. Everything is really pricey for food but if you're just having drinks and you don't mind having a good quality drink then it's totally worth it.

Slow service. Waiter wasn't knowledgeable regarding the current day menu & specials. The restaurant showed up on the restaurant week website & there was no mention that they were only participating on certain dates which I find deceiving. Food was mediocre, could find better food elsewhere for the same price range but better ambiance & service.

Even though the steak my husband ordered Decon was different and interesting, it was only okay. The food was pricey but it was not worth the price tag. The bread and butter served at the beginning of the meal was the best part. Also, the waiter spoke so fast, he was impossible to understand as well as less than knowledgeable about their beer menu.

We love this place and go at least 2x a month. The steaks are amazing but so are their appetizers and sides. Service is always good. You might get lucky and go on a night when a good band is playing in the bar. The music is usually great. Makes for a fun night out.

I was catching up with an old friend who I hand't seen in a while. The location made sense for us as it was convenient with the expected quality we were looking for without needing to head into Boston. It was an, overall, good experience. The only thing that stood out was the poor service. Despite having reservations, we decided to sit at the bar. There were a handful of mis-steps by the bartender in handling our order. He had to, twice, return to us, to confirm what we had ordered. I have dined there before and was pleased with the overall experience, and would go again, more for the convenience of the location and general atmosphere.

Bokx 109 is on par with most Boston restaurants, but living in the suburbs, it's a nice alternative to driving in. The restaurant has a sophisticated decor, nice menu, and a large, fun bar area for a suburban location. The prices are up there so it's not a bargain by any means, but the food quality is very good. The outdoor pool area is really nice for a drink during the summer, and they often have live music in the bar area.

Based on the prices this restaurant ($50 for a steak) should be one of the finest steakhouses in the city, comparable to Capital Grill. Instead, we ended up with a big bill and a disappointing meal. Plus the music in the restaurant was a bad 80s soundtrack that ruined the ambience. And it was brightly light like a supermarket. Maybe good for a drink and appetizer, but stay away for any serious dining.

If you have eaten at SkyBokx in Natick this is not affiliated!! We really don't like SkyBokx, Bokx 109 however is amazing. Little fancier, more expensive, but worth it. Have eaten here upwards of 15/16 times. Food is amazing. Menu/cocktails are always changing. Bartenders are A+, awesome crew, always remembers us and greets us back. Used to be able to get the bar menu food at tables, but not anymore. I recommend bar/lounge tables so you can order whatever you want.

I was looking for a great way to spend a summer day and found it at Bokx 109. Not only does it have a lovely pool with attentive staff, but the restaurant was fantastic. Although it's a touch pricey, the service and atmosphere were worth it to me. I am hoping for one last summer hurrah before fall descends on us all, and I will be coming right back here! :-)

When we arrived there was no hostess (10am) and there was a woman in a concert t shirt and short shorts cleaning the bar. She never looked up to help or call a hostess to seat us. We were finally seated. The food had no taste at the brunch and they ran out of everything. So my husband and I ordered off the menu after we tasted the dry bland eggs. We both got omelets. They were so over salted I went thru 3 glasses of water. The kids had the brunch. The food was sparse. The table the brunch is on is so high you can barely look into the serving dishes. There were no condiments. The bread for the buffet was just sitting in the bag. Everyone was reaching in pawing all the pieces. To round it all off, the didn't serves alcohol at brunch!

My best friend & I have been to BOKX 109 many, many times & have always enjoyed it. This was different! We brought a friend to celebrate her birthday. The Caesar salad, generally delicious, had very little dressing. We were not asked if we wanted anchovies, they were just put on the salad. I had a cheese plate, I needed to ask the server to tell me what the cheeses were. He was a bit uncertain. No coffee refill was offered. We asked for a surprise special dessert to be brought for our friend's birthday with 'happy birthday' written on the plate. The server acted as though he had no idea what we were talking about. All in all, what has always been a lovely dining experience, was anything but!!!

It was my first time dining there. The atmosphere was nice with plenty of spacious tables. The service was terrific. I had to send my steak back because it was under cooked. Then it came back overcooked. The sides were delicious . I would give this another chance

First, our server was great. Service was slow but I don't think it was him, I think it was the restaurant. I had made a reservation through Open Table for my Husband's 50th Birthday. They called to confirm the Birthday the day before and then NOTHING when we got there. No acknowledgement at all. Appetizers were good. My husband and son's steak was good. Mine was not at all good. Overcooked and way too much fat. I ordered the same thing as my husband. His was great. Not mine. Desserts were good. Sides were good. Very expensive steaks were hit or miss.

We've had diner here, so decided to try it for the Mother's Day brunch; what a disappointment! The menu was prefixed with odd to impossible items to pair from the first and second courses. First courses mainly lunch type while second courses were mostly egg based. We don't particularly care for a combination of seared tuna followed by eggs Benedict with short ribs, for example. The food itself was bland, very average, making it way overpriced. We could've had much better omelettes at our local diner for a fraction of the price. Not to mention that it was strange just to offer "complimentary" champagne to the mother and not per adult. We've been to other brunches and definitely won't be coming back.

I made a note in my Open Table reservation that it was my mother's 76th birthday. The staff could not have been more congratulatory! From the hostess, to the wait staff and even the manager stopped by. They made the whole experience delightful for me and my mom.

Feels like a happening place. Mostly young adults. Very noisy. The food is really good. No disappointments in any of our 4 meals. The restaurant overall is great. However, it is located in an old, tired building of a hotel that is very off-putting when you drive up . Actually, the hotel looks abandoned. Glad we went in because the restaurant was great.
