Dined here as a group of 6; so just a heads up that there is an upcharge for groups over 5. That said should I get great service? The food was excellent but not the service. Server ignored empty ice tea glasses. When requested she seemed really put out that she had to refill.
I never complain about paying for great food but when you are in the service industry give me great service!!! A smile goes a long way.
The sirloin steak and swordfish were prepared perfectly and had such great flavors. Atmosphere is very cool. We were seated upstairs, but if I return I will probably just sit at the bar and hopefully the bartender has better customer service skills.
Great food and poor service.

The Boiler Room is always excellent. The environment is distinctive, the food is innovative and delicious, the wine list is broad and well-curated, and the staff are highly professional. Our server helped us select the perfect wines for our meal and we had an amazing dinner.

At one point in the evening, there was a disruptive customer. It was handled perfectly, these situations are rare and challenging. Dealing with them effectively is a strong indicator of service commitment and quality. My confidence in the front of the house to provide an exceptional environment and service was already high, now it is absolute.

Between the food and the service, this is one of the most consistently excellent dining experiences in Omaha.

Really nice experience at the Boiler Room. From the greeting at the door on, they had their act together. Great looking space. Red Snapper with a crisped skin was excellent. All accompaniments were very good. They were accommodating in switching out one of the components for me. I should mention the server as well. I wish I could remember her name. She was very friendly, knew the menu and made good suggestions. She was there at the right time without being overbearing.

This would be a great spot for virtually any purpose. Date night, celebration or a client you need to impress. I should also mention they actually paid attention to my request through the OpenTable reservation for a table in a quieter area. Much appreciated as that doesn't always happen.

Our server was excellent and helped with suggestions for dietary changes necessary for one GF person at our table. Each entree was interesting, tasty and well prepared with unique use of vegetables. Fun atmosphere. Snapper was delicious and two ordered the Wagyu beef entree and one had halibut. The wild rice blend was delicious. Large variety of wine and cocktail choices. We enjoyed trying The Boiler Room when visiting Omaha. Slightly off the beaten path of the usual Old Market dining options but worth seeking out.

Second time back and glad we made the reservation. Berkshire weekend obviously a busy weekend in Omaha and Boiler Room was awesome. Drinks at the bar, table service, wine selection, and food execution were all on point. Couldn't recommend it enough. See you next year!

Our food was excellent. The menu is a nice mix of Midwest meets British Pub. The service was great. Our service was super accommodating and friendly. The only bummer was when we got a note from Open Table saying we stuffed our reservation. I told the host we had a reservation when we walked in and gave him our name, so either he didn’t hear me or just ignored what I said. So that was kins of frustrating to be accused of poor form later. We got in cleared up but if you go, make sure you clearly announce your reservation. No one needs to be responsible for holding up a table during happy hour.
We’d go again. The menu looks like a lot of fun.

The evening was very enjoyable. The wait staff were all helpful with the menu and order suggestions! We had the rabbit croquette for an appetizer and halibut for the entree. Both were presented well and absolutely delicious.

The only complaint is that Jones St is very rough to drive on.

Definitely recommend the Boiler Room and I have.

Our server was almost too non-pretentious. It took almost 15 minutes before we even discussed the menu, and he was rather nonchalant. My wife's tilefish entree was fantastic, well-paired flavoring. The Yukon potato gnocchi was superb. My porchetta had promise, but it seemed to have too many flavors competing and not pairing. Good, but not great. Our server did recommend great wine pairings for each of our entrees, and the cheese board was well done. Overall, Boiler Room is still really cool, and we appreciate their willingness to keep the menu fresh.

Food was very good. Pork belly app, as well as the charcuterie board we’re outstanding. Duck entree and pork entree were also well executed. Desserts were ok, creative, but I felt like just barely missed the mark for my pallet. Still executed well, it was just a personal thing. The only thing I felt uncomfortable with was the service and wine list. I don’t drink wine, but kind of felt pressured when ordering. The recommendation based on my tastes was outstanding though. Overall, great night out. From A semifinalist for a Beard award though, I would expect nothing less. Congratulations.

Loft seating above the open kitchen was nice. The food was amazing, we have no complaints there. The host was our only complaint, kinda gave us a 'are you in the right spot' attitude when we came in and seemed in a rush to get us out. Overall the experience was great and we'll visit again.

The only thing that came close to being better than the food was the service. We had Emily as a server, she was excellent, knowledgeable not just about the menu but the art as well! Delicious dinner and drinks. I'm personally a slow drinker and I was checked in with twice to make sure I liked it, they wold have been remiss if I had anything I didn't enjoy which was very considerate. This is a must eat of Omaha.

I moved to Omaha from Boston two months ago and I’m not lying when I say I have had some very serious low points rationalizing why I left the culinary diversity of Boston for Nebraska. Until now. The Boiler Room was by far the best experience I have had thus far in Nebraska.

You must be a willing participant when taken on a culinary adventure and our meal and wine were curated to perfection.
If Omaha celebrates one thing it’s meat and our meal was an elegant cascade of how to perfect just that.

Our group of four began with charcuterie and olives followed by culatello with pickled apple and herbed ricotta. We group rock, paper, scissored for the last bite... I lost. From that point on it was clear no one was going to settle for enjoying one entree on their own. Instead we followed this with three shared courses: Short rib followed by pork followed by Wagyu Sirloin and finishing with sorbet. Each course paired with brilliant Italian wine and dessert paired with Montenegro all chosen by our server Justin.

Service was a step above. Music and lighting on point. We had a blast.. finally. I have really been struggling with my new city and this experience left me feeling a lot better. It’s also worth mentioning that The Boiler Room is the ONLY restaurant in Omaha to have a Chef with a James Beard nomination this year. Bravo.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. They have a huge wine list and gave us plenty of time to peruse that and the menu. Our server was great with advice and was able to answer any questions that we had. The food was pricey but it was also some of the best food I’ve had since my wife and I moved to Omaha. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary. Well worth the money spent.
