Boiler Room Ratings and Reviews
Once again, the Boiler Room was excellent! Our server was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions about the menu and wine pairing. We weren't rushed at all, and even received a complimentary cheese plate when our entrees were a little delayed. Superb meal, superb service--definitely worth the price!
Had a great time a Boiler Room, again! The wait staff was great, food was outstanding and restaurant is beautiful. All in all, great experience. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody who is celebrating a special occasion or a nice date with a special someone. Hope you choose to check it out!
Boiler room is our absolute favorite place for a night out! Every special occasion brings us to boiler room, where they not only graciously accommodate our complicated food allergies, but also make every effort to make us feel right at home. We feel so very fortunate to have such a high caliber restaurant in Omaha!
My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here and had an amazing experience. Our menus were customized with "Happy Anniversary" at the top and the waitstaff very knowledgeable. Our food was delicious and the timing of each course was perfect. I had a the Ora King Salmon which was like butter and my husband had chicken confit. We couldn't decide which dish we liked better since both were outstanding. Will definitely be coming back for another special occasion in the future!
Ambiance and service were great. Cocktails were fabulous. Noise level was kind of high. Very limited menu but it covered all bases. Though they were out of the fish entrée, which was a little disappointing. They substituted with a scallop dish which looked good. Only complaint was that many of the dishes we ordered were overly salty. They were very tasty and presented well, but could have used a lighter hand on the salt.
Excellent in every respect. the food was as good as the service, which was as good as the food, etc. Small menu, and everyone liked their meal, from cheese plates to start, to entrees ranging from steak to fish to pork. One of the "top 10" experiences I have had, in terms of service that "anticipated every need."
Must try the unique delicious cocktails - best in Omaha. The atmosphere is unique. Great service. Constantly changing menu. Food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I love being able to watch the chef cook. Learned a few tips for home. Everything on the menu will be exceptional always.
Steak entree wasn't balanced at all. The turnips had so much heat they overtook everything else on the plate. Unfortunately they were sauteed with other items on the plate so even removing them didn't help. Sad day! Enjoyed almost everything else. Check presentation was super awkward as they didn't seem to know what was going on.
We had a wonderful evening! My husband and I both had the Waygu beef and it was exceptional!! Our waiter choose our wine and it was perfect!! Had to wait a bit to get our meal so they brought us a charcuterie board in the interim. The restaurant was beautiful and we would definitely go again!!
Read reviews and had a recommendation here... the crudo was excellent, swordfish ok and the pork was crazy salty, dessert more like an ice cream cake than brownie sundae. Would not visit again as the reviews didn’t match the food and the server could have not been more DRY no personality or recommendations.
Once again the staff and the cuisine at the Boiler Room did not disappoint. As a treat for our 8th wedding anniversary my wife and I booked a table with a request to overlook the open kitchen, which was granted without a fuss.
The host was attentive and knowledgeable - our custom menus had a 'Happy Anniversay' greeting on them and he was more than helpful in explaining the cocktail menu so help us make the perfect selection.
Again when selecting our dinners (after a delicious charcuterie) the waiter helped make the perfect wine pairing, even brining a small sample of the red he had selected as a compliment to the sparkling white my wife went with.
The food was, as always, delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was exquisite. It's easy to tell the ingredients come from local farms and producers, and the chef allows the local flavors to speak for themselves.
Fantastic staff. Never a moment that lacked service. Beautiful meal, cooked perfectly. We had the chicken and steak, both were prepared and plated exactly as expected for the environment and price point. Desert filled in my sweet craving in a lovely way. Now, we will be back and very likely it will be soon.
My wife and I have been trying to get to Boiler Room for a couple of years now and it just hasn't worked. So last week for my birthday we made it happen. Wow, have we been missing out! What a brilliant concept that they pull off with flying colors! We loved the atmosphere - which really feels like you're in the boiler room of a huge industrial building, but with very understated and comfortable tables, chairs, etc. The food was unbelievable and the service even better. I will never miss an opportunity to fine here again.
The staff seem odd and make you feel uncomfortable and not welcoming. Had the sausage to start, which was wonderful. Our entrees were just ok. For the price, and the way the waits made you feel, I would not recommend. Also there was a large, loud table next to us, so the whole atmosphere was ruined in order to have a quiet, enjoyable dinner. The place itself is very unique but the food, price and noise level was not the best. Probably won't be back.
