Boi Na Braza - Dallas Ratings and Reviews
Great experience. We had Thanksgiving Dinner here and really appreciated that hot Turkey, Stuffing, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, etc. had been added to the "Salad Bar". Various Beef cuts, Chicken, Pork, Sausage were brought to our table throughout the dinner and each was nicely done. The portion sizes were huge. The service was excellent. We would eat here again and would recommend it to our friends. Reservations are best as this seems to be a popular restaurant.
The selection of meats was not what I was expecting. The website listed more than what was served. There was only one chicken choice and no pork. I was expecting to have more options besides beef. They also did not tell us that dessert was not included in the price of the meal which was frustrating when we got the bill. I would like to have been informed of the pricing at the beginning of the meal. I will not go back here. It was not worth the $300+ for four people.
I cant believe this place was just around the corner and i only ate there now for the first time. By all means this place is spectacular and every meat lovers dream everything on the menu is just jaw dropping good. Do yourslef a favor and eat there asap its worth it.
I WISH I could give a negative rating for this restaurant. I am SO disappointed! Came here for our anniversary, expecting a nice night. Opened the front door and was immediately hit with heavy smell of cigar or cigarette smoke. GROSS! It's 7:00, maybe 5 tables are full..that's it. I'm thinking, this can't be good. A good restaurant on a Saturday night should be full. Anyway, order a drink....never got it until I asked again half way through dinner. Best part, I got it for free because they forgot to get it for me. Good thing because it was $15 and it tasted like straight whisky. That's ok, because at this point I needed a strong drink. Salad bar was cheesy...that's all I have to say about that. Let's skip to the meat...I want to cry! It was SO salty and nasty!! EVERYTHING we tasted was disgusting! I barely ate anything. The sides..oh, I could go on and on... the ONLY tasty thing we had was a piece of cheesecake, that was obviously store bought. Ok... we got there at 7:00 and was back in our car by 7:40....So 40 minutes later we were $150.00 poorer. Grant it, my husband gave a 19.00 tip, but he's a nice guy. Long story short, I'm still hungry and I'm not happy. Oh, and the patrons..... wearing flip flops and shorts!! For the love of Pete go to McDonald's!!!!
We have been coming to this restaurant for years and it started to take a bit of a nose dive in quality and service. We were pleasantly surprised with the improvement of service and taste quality of the meats. I will definitely add them back into the rotation for special nights out with my wife.
Way too expensive for what you get. Better off going to a nice steak house. It's just an expensive buffet. Never again. Asked why we were there told them a Bday and that was it. Average service. Rather go to a Ruth Chris or Mortons.
Service from the waiters was great. Food was godawful.
I had the unlimited salad bar. The chicken salad lacked any chicken whatsoever and only had a boatload of carrot strips. The apple salad must've missed out on the 'pine' because it was a pineapple salad. The sun-dried tomato slices were terribly salty.
My daughter had the full price meal. For $48, I would've expected well-cooked meats. Both the top and bottom sirloin cuts were so salty that a hefty swig of water was a necessity after every bite, and the filet mignon tasted nothing like filet mignon.
We had eaten maybe $10 worth of food before being fed up by either how horridly salty or tasteless the food was. There was no happy medium.
After telling the waiter we would like our check instead of replacement cuts of meat, we waited roughly 15 to 20 minutes for our check. My daughter walked to the hostess where she was then met by who I will assume was the manager for that shift (pink dress shirt, striped tie), who had mysteriously appeared with our check. He halved the original $48 for the full meat menu price. After listening to our complaints, the manager rather begrudgingly mumbled, "I see that you didn't enjoy your meal. I will charge you for one salad then." And in a lower, ruder tone, "Is that okay?" No apology. We paid the check and left without another word.
We will never return to this restaurant but will forever be baffled as to why the rest of the customers appeared to be having a great time.
The lamb chops were awesome! The only thing is that my wife does not care for red meat and there were very few occasions where the person with the chicken came around. It was also wrapped in bacon (awesome) which she does not care for. If you can eat a lot of food, this is the place for you!
