Boi Na Braza - Dallas Ratings and Reviews
I previously made reservations a few weeks before arriving where me and my girl were say at the worst table in the restuarant ticked away in the corner trapped by busy servers walking past us throughout the entire experience. Only one selection of meat was cooked to medium or less all the other selections were medium well or well done which ruined the meat. I spent the next two days sick to my stomach for whatever reason their food torestaurant me up. I was way over charged for my drinks doubling my bill in the end. When I asked the server why all the meat was over cooked he said they have to keep up with everyone else's preferences in the dining room which is my fault somehow. Theven server was really good and provided excellent service. I will not be going back to this restaurant absolutely horrible.
Food was decent, but not nearly as good as other similar restaurants in town for the same price. The salad bar needed restocked and the "hot" food at the salad bar was cold. Did not have enough meat servers, so it felt like you were waiting a while. Not worth $50/person.
While nothing was "bad", for two, 10 dollar glasses of wine, and two meals, the $150 bill would have been MUCH better spent at a good steakhouse, etc. Meat was just OK; often barely warm. Chicken and pork cuts were way dry, the bacon wrapped filets cooked well done. Salad bar was good, though.
Great food answer service. My wife and I had a great time, the wait staff was great. They took very good care of us and didn't intrude on us every second, my wife and I had a great evening. The food was perfect, definitely would recommend this place to everyone!
This was our first visit to Boi Na Braza and we were impressed. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. When we told them we had not been to this type of establishment before, they explained how everything worked and helped us get started. We began with a quick trip to the salad/sides bar and sampled some lighter fare from that before flipping our cards over to signify that we were ready for some of the different meats. We tried a little of almost everything, with the servers being quite considerate about our desired portion sizes. Everything we tried was great, but I think the ribs were my personal favorite - tender, flavorful, and well-cooked.
We went for a special occasion and this is not an inexpensive restaurant so won't be a frequent stop for us, but the food was very good, the service was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. We'll be back at some point in the future and would recommend this as a place for our friends looking for a different experience.
I proposed to my girlfriend here and everything went perfect. I believe the manager Josh was his name and the entire staff where great. They had the table set up for us with the dozen roses I ordered and candles I had brought earlier during the day. I had them bring out the ring on a plate for her, everything turned out great The food, service and entire restaurant was amazing. All the staff where very friendly and one of the girls working took pictures for us. Thank you and all the staff that worked the night of 2-1-17 our reservation time was at 8:30 pm you guys helped us make a life long memory. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all of our friends. You guys rock and thanks again for the wonderful evening.
The meat was subpar, fatty and overly salty. The hostess was rather curt with people. She seated someone that came in after us first. We had a reservation and yet we waited 45 minutes to finally get seated. We live 3 minutes up the road but will drive 30 minutes to eat at a different churrascaria next time.
New Years Eve so of course the reservations were full so we had to take the earliest slot since that was all they had. It turned out perfect though. The service was exceptional and the food was exquisite! Everyone in our party enjoyed it! THANK YOU.
Happy New Year!
We have eaten at Boi Na Braza for many years for holidays, birthdays and business meetings. Unfortunately our Christmas Eve dinner was less then memorable. We had invited a few people for dinner and it was their first time at the restaurant (and believe it will be their last). I eat only one type of meat and after requesting it eight times someone showed up with the meat but it was well done (I had requested med to rare). The staff is usually attentive but this evening it was frustrating and our entire table was disappointed to say the least. It was very apparent the staff was pushing the cheaper cuts of meat. At these prices I would expect much more. The manager seemed to have eventually acknowledged the lack of service and attention but instead of approaching the table and apologizing did not seem to want to be bothered. Restaurants need to know we have choices and they are in a service industry so once again at these prices service should be at a somewhat higher standard. To add insult to injury the tip was automatically added to the check.
My son & I love this place. We go once or twice a year because it is on the pricey side. However it is truly one of a kind. The food is beyond excellent. The service is above exceptional. I recommend it to all. It is beautiful and perfect for every occasion.
Normally our favorite Brazilian steakhouse in the metroplex, must've been an off nite. Language barrier trying to order a half bottle of wine, after 3 attempts found out it was 86'ed. Gaucho dropped skewer base trying to carve off a pork rib, picked it up and put it back on table. Seems the training of the staff is amiss over years past. Still the best picanha overall. Will be back, just hard to justify $160 pretip with just adequate service.
We were a group of 7 with reservation, and were immediately seated when we arrived 10 minutes early. The wait staff were right there for any need and were very friendly and helpful during our nearly 2-hour visit. Everything was delicious and I'd recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable feast.
One of the BEST places I've ever been to. The staff was always rotating through with different food and very polite! They even started remember what foods I'd ask them to bring back later and instantly got a feel for what I liked and didn't like. Simply an amazing place and I'd suggest it to everyone!
The food was decent for the price. Not impressed by the fact that the lamb is not passed-it has to be requested. So we waited and waited for the lamb only to be told that we had to special order the racks of lamb. This is probably a good measure for quality control but should be explained to the customer. The seasoning on the rack of lamb was horrible. Almost inedible in my opinion. Husband did not seem to mind..so take that with a grain of salt. Although it was very high quality food I feel like every time we come here we are underwhelmed. If it's your anniversary they will comp your dessert. And they wrote "happy anniversary" on the plate. Nice touch. Very good service here. They will do their best to accommodate you. However, the service did not make up for the occasionally bland/overseasoned meat. Overall, in this price range there are better restaurants.
