Boi Na Braza - Dallas Ratings and Reviews
It was my mothers birthday! Sadly it falls on 4th of July, which seems to be in issue at this restaurant.
We literally all got there at 7:00/7:15 p.m, we all started with Salads. Then moved to the meats, once we got to the meat the captain or lead server was rushing us very often. Not sure if it's just the way he works or if he was rushing to close.
It felt very uncomfortable due to the fact that we wanted to eat and be relaxed since me and my family love far apart from each other. Wouldn't come back to this restaurant, I would rather go to Texas De Brazil.
The meat servers and young man were very calm non rushing.
Just wouldn't recommend this place if you like to eat calm and in peace.
Best Food - Cooked however you like
Best Service - Treat you like a king or queen
Options - Again you feel like a king or queen
Cost - For the amount of food & the variety...the cost can not be beat.
Management - Best .. Josh is awesome, however even when he's not there the other mangers are pure gold.
I have very expensive taste & my wife is a chef so it is hard sometimes to plz my wife at a Restaurant when she can cook everything just as good if not better....however she's always very happy & pleased with Boi Na Braza - Dallas
We have eaten there several times. The service is excellent! The salad and side bar is very tasty. They bring you all the meat (different cuts - sirloin, filet, bacon wrapped filet, lamb, chicken, etc.) all you can eat! This is the first time that we had some sirloin that had gristle. The bacon wrapped filet was over cooked and not that tender. But, the other cuts we got were excellent! The filet was tender and flavorful! The desserts were outstanding! Overall, we will be back! Be prepared to spend some money though as there were only 3 of us and we had no alcohol and our tab, with tip, was $240.00.
One of my favorites. Only go here if you want excellent meat and a lot of it. We have a joke that it is a great place to "meat". Wine selection is fantastic, great deserts, and the salad bar is phenomenal. Still the real gem is the many different kinds of beef, pork, and chicken. A little spendy for an every week outing but for that special occasion this is an excellent choice.
Our first outing at a Brazilian steakhouse. Five star everything! Expensive, Yes. But well worth the price of admission. One of our waiters has been with the restaurant since 2000 and was from Brazil. It was not just meat on a stick either. Top notch cuts cooked to perfection. The sides were not just bread and butter but worthy of any high end trendy/foodie place. If more folks had the lamb-chops like that for their first experience; more people would like them in general.
We will be back!
It seems that my friends always want to go "brazilian" when we dine out in a group. I have had some really great churrascaria meals and some that are mediocre. Boi Na Braza falls somewhere in between. It was definitely a good meal but compared to the best I have had, seasonings were a bit lacking and the uber salad bar options were slightly less in quality. However, the staff was excellent, the service very good and everyone professional and friendly. They had a more than decent wine list and made great bar drinks. I would gladly return if someone else was paying the check.
We discovered this restaurant by accident and have brought friends back 2 additional times because we loved it so much. It is expensive ($50/person), but it is WORTH every penny. Great for special occasions as well.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 full stars overall was because when we ordered dessert, we weren't told that it's an additional cost. Felt sort of side winded when we got the bill.
We hadn't been to this location in years and wondered if it would still be a nice dining experience. It was and we enjoyed a pleasant evening. The food was good (and plentiful) with the house special sirloin being our favorite. It has a nice salad bar - not extravagant but with more than average choices. The service was attentive. The only time it was a little slow was when it was time to bring the check. If you are a meat lover this is a good place to go.
The food is good. This is the best Brazilian steakhouse I've been to. The only reason I wouldn't recommend it is the price. 110 dollars before tip with two waters and a coffee was just too much. I was also disappointed when I saw the lamb chops go around for the first time when we had been there for over an hour and we were both full. Service was excellent, and I would go back over other Brazilian steakhouses in the area.
I previously made reservations a few weeks before arriving where me and my girl were say at the worst table in the restuarant ticked away in the corner trapped by busy servers walking past us throughout the entire experience. Only one selection of meat was cooked to medium or less all the other selections were medium well or well done which ruined the meat. I spent the next two days sick to my stomach for whatever reason their food torestaurant me up. I was way over charged for my drinks doubling my bill in the end. When I asked the server why all the meat was over cooked he said they have to keep up with everyone else's preferences in the dining room which is my fault somehow. Theven server was really good and provided excellent service. I will not be going back to this restaurant absolutely horrible.
Food was decent, but not nearly as good as other similar restaurants in town for the same price. The salad bar needed restocked and the "hot" food at the salad bar was cold. Did not have enough meat servers, so it felt like you were waiting a while. Not worth $50/person.
While nothing was "bad", for two, 10 dollar glasses of wine, and two meals, the $150 bill would have been MUCH better spent at a good steakhouse, etc. Meat was just OK; often barely warm. Chicken and pork cuts were way dry, the bacon wrapped filets cooked well done. Salad bar was good, though.
