Amazing food and drinks. Service was excellent. Definitely will return!
I love going to this place very friendly and the ambiance is so nice. The food is amazing to. We go there for every holiday.. Love it
Food is usually good. This day it was not. Brunch is over priced. Food was cold. Attended with a party of 4 and 3 of us sent our food back because it was cold/not fresh. However, we did get complimentary drinks because of the issues with the food. Regular menu food is usually decent. I wouldn’t do brunch again.
What I had to eat was fantastic, and there are multiple menu options that I would still like to try.
90% chance we will come back.
The food was EXCELLENT! I loved the empanada sampler. Good drinks.
Food took for ever ge be served, tostones over cooked, arepa was not etible because the cheese was poor tasting..the server:not familiarvwith the culinary details of colombian food (yes the one in the menu!), when we atempted to let him know, he just said 'they were busy', it took much more than 25 min to get aerved main courses), i wanted to let the manager know, he seemed like an intelligent nice guy when i told him we moved up our reservation unexpectedly, he graciously said it was a non issue.. but my family dud not have 'the stomach' to deal with this(i did) specially after this was becoming a black cloud over our granddaughter's graduation so we paid (in fairness after we paid the server made a calculated vervalization saying if we would have mentioned any issues before paying it could be solved but it would be "difficult now')... we had mentioned the long wait, the issue with the arepa, etc...and he had blown us off...bottom line, very disapointing experience.... !!
This is a favorite for our small group. Although it can get very noisy at night, the food and atmosphere make it worth it.
Delicious food, great ambiance, excellent service!
Service is unbeatable. My husband truly enjoyed the special of bistec caballo (or vice versa). I, on the other hand, had their skirt steak. It wasn’t cooked to the temperature I requested and I wasn’t asked if there was another side I’d like on top of the two I requested. So, my steak was not hot at all, it was tepid. The side added was not one I would have chosen and since it is one of my husband’s favorite, I offered it to him and when he bit into it, it was cold.
Their drinks NEVER DISAPPOINT. So they have that going for them...
A good experience in every way
Great neighborhood place. Good food. Good drinks. Good people.
Awesome, authentic Spanish food!!!
Fabulous food and our waiter was so attentive! We had two people with celiac and he made sure to triple check all the dishes and drinks we ordered were safe.
I really love this restaurant! Its a Brooklyn favorite go to place to get a great eating experience!
Really great food, drinks and vibe. Our waitress was super helpful in getting us all we needed. Will definitely come back.
The food and service were both great! Everyone shared the empanadas and loved them (the favorite was the goat cheese). I got the Migas de Arepas for my entree and it was delicious.
The service was excellent considering it was packed. The food was great!
Overly expensive especially considering they’ve gotten rid of the extras that made it worthwhile to take the family like complimentary plantain chips and wiki sticks for the kids. It also probably took around 40 minutes to get our food.
Really great food, greeted well and all the servers we spoke with were great. As it was busy they could have been more attentive but everything on the night suited us perfectly! Will be coming back for sure 😀
Food was cold, service was slow and the special was overcooked.
Very good lunch special for $15.95
The food was amazing, the vibe was on point and the service was great! I forgot my waiters name, but he was super sweet and attentive. I actually just graduated with my masters the day I went, so the overall restaurant and waiter made the day 10 times better!
Much respect <3!
Never disappoints. One of the few places I hit every time I come to NCY
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My lady and I had a wonderful time. As a Culinary Arts member who is a certified chef that also studied front of the house service, I must say that I was more than pleasantly pleased. I look forward to frequenting your establishment. Next stop: Miti Miti. 😉
Food was so good!! Fish tocos are my favorite. Very welcoming and nice atmosphere.
food is incredible. don’t sleep on the beans! and be sure to try the coconut margarita or mojito - unstoppable.
Great place. Very hospitable. Deliciously spice foods. Attentive and quick service. I was a little late there. The hostess provided me with seating in the nearly packed restaurant anyway.
our server was great and the food was delicious. I was very sad that the fried yuca was taken off the menu, I was looking forward to eating some fried yuca, but it didn't take away from anything else.
Loved the food. Our waiter was awesome. This is hands down one of the best places in Brooklyn for brunch.
Bogota Bistro has yet to please me. I came with family to give them a try. I’m familiar of this establishment since their inception The staff has never disappointed me. The waiter and manager were great. The food was room temperature and its taste did not meet average. We had an issue with the margaritas, which were made with sour mix. Surprisingly, since Mexico does not use this mix. This is a gringo addition. My Martini definitely hit the mark. Hurray!! The tostones were dry and flavorless. The true flavor of Colombian food has yet to be exhibited. There are so many restaurants in this neighborhood with better tasting food. This place is always filled with a young crowd and our new neighborhood implants, which are not fully exposed to better dining or Latino cuisine. I wish them well.
I’ve been coming to Bogota for many years but this time around the food was a miss. My mom didn’t love her fish it was “eh” and the tostones were super thin flat and hard. The empanadas were underwhelming and my garlic chicken was kinda cold. I felt like it was sitting out for a while. The drinks were “eh” as well nothing to boast about. Best thing was the server she was great. Cute girl with blue hair and so nice and accommodating.
We have been here several times before and had a great experience. This time the service was mediocre and we were disappointed to find an abridged menu for Mother's Day that didn't have some of the dishes we were hoping for. We will go back, but not for an occasion where the menu won't be as extensive.
Food was really good and the service was very good! Desserts are delicious and can’t forget the drinks a must have. I would definitely go back and highly recommend
So my wife and 2 little boys attended mothers day brunch. Everything was amazing except my food and drink. My waiter was attentive, checked in on us every 10 mins, really great! Atmosphere was great! I ordered a margarita so I can at least be tipsy enough to make it through my in laws who we were visiting after brunch, nothing. Might have been served a virgin even tho i didnt ask for one. Haven't had a drink in months, thought I would've felt a little buzz but nothing. For food, I ordered Daisy's eggs. Came out in a small cast iron pan. Literally 2 bites, for almost 20 bucks, not worth it. It was delicious but more of an appetizer. I dont think the $120 was worth it, didn't say anything cause it was mothers day *shrugs shoulders*. Other then that.. everything was great including the waiter
I made a reservation and it took about 10 min to seat us. There were many tables open so I don’t know why it took so long. We ordered drinks and they were placed at the wrong table. We also ordered our food and the waiter seemed a little confused as to which table it belonged to. Normally I go to this place and the service is good but after speaking so well about it to my friend and they proved me wrong. Pretty embarrassing.
Love Bogota. It's my go-to for the difficult to find New York gem where the Venn diagram of good ambiance, great food, lots of options for different diets (veg, vegan, and gluten free), not too loud, great cocktails, and some budget-friendly options. Love this place.
Out waiter Akile was the best ever. Food was plentiful and delicious. Sangria was good. Had a great time. Will be back,
The sister to Miti Miti, slightly cheaper but would say Miti Miti is still better ambiance and preferred! Food was really good for brunch, drinks were strong and loved the spicy bloody Mary. They warned us when we sat down that unlimited brunch could be a bit slow, and it was at times, but we also didn't feel rushed.
Everything was very good just too much ice in pitcher drinks for $60
so a little watered down. Next time will ask for NO ice
We had a nice time celebrating a birthday on Cinco de Mayo
I didn't care for the table as I felt like it was way too low. The rotisserie chicken was awful, beyond dry. The music was so loud it was frustrating to speak. We hadn't put a dent in our appetizers when the food came out and the appetizers were just pushed to the other side of the table. The other food was just average, not awful but would not make me want to return. The sangritas were the best thing. All in all not a great experience.
