Bogart's Bar & Grill, in Boca Raton, is a local favorite for serving vibrant global cuisine crafted with passion in its welcoming and grand eatery. For a tantalizing start to your meal, enjoy the sesame seared tuna with wakame pickled ginger, wasabi and ponzu sauce and Bogart's famous meatballs with San Marzano tomato sauce, herbed ricotta and toasted baguette. Some of Bogart's Bar & Grill's specialty entrée dishes include the mojo-braised pork tacos with charred pineapple salsa and cotija cheese, the smoked chicken meatloaf with sage gravy and crispy leeks, as well as sandwiches, like filet mignon sliders with habanero barbecue sauce and aged cheddar and the veggie burger made with a blend of quinoa, lentils and rice topped with black bean relish.
Bogart's Bar & Grill also crafts a variety of tasty pizzas. Popular pies include the barbecue chicken pizza with scallions and cheddar-jack cheese.
The menu was limited compared to what we were used to in the past. We learned that as November 1, 2016 thye would be closed and that the Theater would be taking over and making some renovations. So this was the reason we had limited choices for dinner. Not sure if i would recommend as I am not sure what they plan to be in the future.
Greatfood, great service! Always able to accomodate movie times with your entree. We have never hadabad meal or a bad time here.
Great spot for pre-movie meal although not inexpensive. Ambiance good, food good and
cooked as requested. Service a bit slow as only one waiter had a number of tables and he
was obviously new and trying very hard but a bit hassled.
The waitress ordered the wrong item and to do a movie start I took the higher priced item. She brought out the steak dinner it was cold, potatoes cold, green beans warm. I called her over and explained the
Situation and said I would like what I ordered in the first place. The manager on duty offered nothing didn’t come to the table, did nothing except bus a table and sit on a computer. His customer service skills were unacceptable for his position. He didn't check any tables to see how guests were doing. I told the theater concierge about his guest communication skills. When he passed our table his eyes were down and he only talked to a staff member once. I am a Manager in retail and I was disappointed in his skills.
Our party of 4 really enjoys eating at every other restaurant owned by the same owner as Bogarts. Food here (occasionally) not as good as others. My appetizer cold and tasteless, chicken on main course over done and dry, service okay. Actually feel bad about this because we all really make their other restaurants a comfortable priority.
The waitress brought out 3 appetizers for us but NO PLATES. We had to wait. The waitress brought out a pizza for us but NO PLATES. We had to wait. One time I could accept but twice in one meal….NOT!!!
Not as good as usual this time. Rice was undercooked, burger came without sauce or bun for unknown reasons. Drink was room temp. Had to ask for items that were supposed to come with food and for waiter to come over a lot . Improvements needed.
Linda was exceptional in her assistance.
Place is a nightmare to get in. It's not well market. either inside or out. Since I use a walker I could not use the escalators so I had to go through the movie lobby to the elevator, which is not well marked. Once onto the second floor, it is totally unclear how to proceed. In front of you is the back side of a bar and a sign to the right that says “Bogart's” which leads you to a private dining room. Service is an afterthought. We ordered from the “10 for $10” menu—which we had to ask for, once we were able to flag down the waitress, again—angus sliders for my wife and the pulled pork sandwich for me. Both were absolutely outstanding. Actually, the pulled pork was the absolutely the best I have ever eaten, and the sandwich bun was quite tasty, almost a brioche type bread. But I would never go back unless for some reason I was going to see a movie, but I would get the food to go. Yeah, the place is that bad.
Asked by server when the movie was starting. Arrived at 6:20 for a 7:15 movie. The food arrived at 7:05 with no apology and 3 requests for the food to be brought out! One dish, fish tacos, was brought out as beef tacos--offered to bring out chicken tacos with NO apology. Daughter mentioned it to the manager, but nobody came to the table to discuss the issue!
Our appetizer took a very long time to come out. Once it did arrive, it was cold. We sent it back to have them heat it up, however it arrived much later and was the exact same temperature. The wrong dinner was given to someone at my table.
Same good food and service! As a regular, at least once a month with friends, we'll be back! 👍
Everything was great except the waitress who was cold, unfriendly and only serviced us when reminded
Food, service, and ambiance were all great. Could have made a meal out of the
Brussel sprouts. Delicious!
Food was mediocre at best and service was terrible. Our waitress had 2 tables and looked frazzled. No excuses.
We arrived at 635 for a 730 movie. We had a salad, hummus platter and shared an appetizer. Most of the meal as served at 715 and we didn't get our check until after 730 Even though we told our se bee when the movie would start
Bogart's is extremely convenient as its located in a multiplex cinema building enabling one to eat before/after a movie.
We've been frequenting the restaurant almost weekly with friends where we eat usually after a movie so we can be relaxed, and not rushed.
Our servers have been great, and Keith this last time, was extremely accommodating and professional. We'll be back!! ;=}
We felt that the food should be "taste tested" before leaving kitchen. The soup was overly salted and strong ,the lettuce wraps were sodden with a very sweet sauce and the burgers tough and flavorless. Definitely not up to Bogart 's standards.
We are frequent customers of the movie theather and normally book dinner when we see at movie. Your the is always friendly and make us feel very welcomed.
Had to wait over 1 hour for our food. Waiter was kind enough to comp our drinks. When the food finally arrived, my order was wrong. The waiter again apologized for the mix up. The manager also came over, apologized, said my order was on the house plus both of our deserts. Excellent way to run a restaurant. We will return!
As we eat at Bogart's almost weekly (with friends) after seeing a movie, and have done so for years, I feel I can speak candidly, and with some experience.
While the service is always first rate, this time having Jesse as a server, I must express disappointment with food portions, specifically the chicken Milano, my usual dish of choice.
In the past, three large pieces of chicken was usually served, and I automatically put one piece on my bread plate to take home. Just too large to eat at one sitting.
While I don't necessarily want large portions, the portions have been drastically reduced, this time around 5oz., minuscule, which is not acceptable, especially for chicken as a dinner!
No more chicken Milano for me, and if this continues with other dishes, will simply eat elsewhere.
Very good overall, however; the dining area is situated in an open lobby. Passers by coming to and from movie showings, tend to be loud. Another slight grievance is the small menu, not a lot of of choices. Convenient, but for the price, I'd prefer a more secluded dining experience.
The food and everything was great, you even get a free drink/ appetizer with a movie stub from the theater below. It's a great find when its storming outside in the summer!
We went to try their burgers. It was a Thursday night and the restaurant was quiet. Our servers were enthusiastic but a little inexperienced. When the food came, my wife asked for some mustard which took an eternity to get. The ketchup that came was in little bowls, something I would call either faux elegance or a way of limiting the condiment. The burgers themselves were properly cooked but they seemed bland - my toppings (gruyere and bacon) were quite good. The sides were less so - quirky sweet potato fries and a tiny side salad. A nice place to go if you are going to the movie next door but otherwise not worth the detour.
We find it extremely convenient to have Bogart's within a cinema where one can eat before/after a film. The food and service is always consistent, and as we normally eat there with friends several times a month, it speaks for itself.
The group's member's card which offers $ towards meals is also a plus.
The best hamburger in Boca!!!!
The service was excellent. So attentive. As always the pea soup was delicious as well as the salmon - cooked as requested. Just right!
After waiitng too long for our wines due to mix up with wait staff:? one order of hummus and avocado dip with something else on platter to have with our wine, the acacado mixture was "rank, sour, etc" I suggested the chef eat it. I never had a problem with the food before this and should not have had it then, especially as I was hosting. It was taken off the bill but I wish our wait staff was perhaps more experienced.
The restaurant temperature is kept at feezing levels, even after complaining,
The room in the back is depressing to say the least
The restaurant needs updating at the minimum
Our food was cold. Probably because it "stood around". We were served well after many who arrived after us.
Desert was ordered and, after at least 15 minutes a different waiter brought it to ours.
Of course, the waiter apologized.
Never again !!!!!
Although we have had mixed experiences in the past, the convenience would always bring us back. Our experience the last two visits has shown considerable improvement in both the food and the level of service. For those who have been put off by either, as well as the mediocre past reviews, I suggest giving Bogart's another shot
About what you expect from a pub outside a movie theater. Do NOT order the Philly cheesesteak. Sandwich- it is awful! Dry, over cooked, sweet and very wrong.
The convenience can't be beat. My burger was delicious. The service could be a bit better. Two people in our party took advantage of a free salad with a dinner entree. One person was served a large bowl of salad and the other was given a mini finger bowl size. We said something but the waited ignored our complaint. We let the matter drop since the party with the mini salad did not really want to eat more than that amount.
Music bleeding from the rented party room into the restaurant at a level totally inappropriate for dining. Manager asked how everything was; I said "OK, except for the obvious. That volume level is ridiculous." Instead of apologizing or offering to re-seat, or buy a drink, or any apropos response at all, he just scurried away. If you don't know how to handle those situations, you probably shouldn't be showboating around the restaurant asking how everything is as "Who Let the Dogs Out" floods your dining room.
You can't go wrong with eating here whether you are going to a movie, or not! I love the meatball appetizer, the crispy pizza, & chopped Greek salad!
Wife's lettuce wraps and onion soup were great as was my southwestern salad with grilled chicken. We will return when in the area
I eat here a couple Friday's per month. I can always count on consistently good food.
The food was very good. The service was extremely slow, but the servers were very courteous and apologized for the long delay. The restaurant was very, very cold which made it unpleasant. Fortunately the food was enjoyable.
The split pea soup was the best ever and so delicious. The chopped salad was very good too.
We also liked the bread sticks.. and the coffee was very good!!
the service was excellent also..We had a very enjoyable time..We look forward to coming back again..
Our server was awesome, but the food at Bogart's leaves something to be desired. We went for the sheer convenience because we were seeing a movie and it was raining so we didn't want to have to drive from place to place in the rain. Next time I'd probably save my money and eat at home first.
