Boerner Botanical Gardens
Wonderful time for Mother's Day. Great food, great seat next to a window full of colorful tulips, and great service.
We enjoyed the majority of our brunch on Mather's Day. My only complaint is that it was quite congested in the entry area and a bit unclear as to where you were supposed to check in. The patron behind me asked if this was the line to check in, and I said that I hoped so because I had been waiting in it. I also heard other diners asking if this was the check-in line.
Service was not great - staff seemed overwhelmed. Food was very good.
Outstanding - wonderful food and drink selection. Can’t wait to go again next Mother’s Day!
Food and selection were very good. It's a really nice area and after eating you can walk in the gardens. It makes for a nice day.
The experience was amazing and a welcome treat for the mothers in our group. All the food was fresh and consistently cooked. Our server was helpful and kept our table clear. The setting was lovely and clean. We would come again. Also my grandson has a dairy allergy. The server wsa preparaed and directed us to to the diairy free option.
we where there for mother's day it was very good. great service from our waitress very infomative.. having the different station with foods was good much to choose from. the
grardens where great to walk through. will be back for other events.
I really love the Botanical Gardens, and my mom has always wanted to have brunch there on a special occasion so I took her for Mothers Day. While the food was good, some items were a bit underwhelming, particularly for the price. Generally I am willing to pay a higher price for quality food and service. While it wasn't poor in either of those categories, it was just not to the level we were expecting. A buffet style brunch was a bit chaotic and expensive. Some people may really love that atmosphere, it just wasn't for us.
Beautiful Mother's Day brunch. Many food options and cute/petite desserts! What a lovely way to spend Mother's Day.
Mothers day brunch, food was good, was hoping for a bit more selection. Some thing werent good, short ribs inparticular. Overall decent
For the amount of money spent, the food was lack luster. Our reservation was at 2:30, but half the food was gone. The open bar was a nice touch, but the Bloody Mary bar was not monitored and people ate all the fix-ins while waiting for brunch. We checked in but we’re not marked as present and our wait was absurdly long. The food available was bland and not very enticing.
There were NO carved meats. I've been here before and this was the worst experience I've had here. Going to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just a bad day and poor planning.
Well - the venue was great for a lovely Easter Sunday - and we had later reservations (2:30) and the food was disappointing. They had already ran out of ham. They were prompt about telling us and discounted the brunch for us. However, I tried to get another dish - that my husband had tried (salmon) and they ran out of that too. So I had salad for brunch. I think they were slammed for the holiday - so I may try again on just another weekend. Staff was kind and friendly.
I suspect that patrons that were there earlier may of had a better experience as we were in last group. Buffet food wasn't in full supply across the board and other areas the food appeared as it had been out for too long. Coffee served was a bit lukewarm.
We arrived on time and were told they were running late, but were offered free bloody mary's to pass the short wait. Once seated we were immediately attended to by April, our server's assistant. April took care of our every need. She was outstanding.
The atmosphere was pleasant and the room was flooded with sunlight from the large windows overlooking the gardens. The four or five food stations were well attended. The food was replenished continually and was very good. Every server and chef was pleasant and professional.
Food variety was good, although in my opinion a little too much pork. Most people seem to love pork, but I avoid it.
Overall it was a nice experience punctuated by the pleasant and helpful staff.
The food and service were excellent. Very well run event.
There was little variety in the food. Much of it was overcooked and dry. The desserts were very small. plain and unremarkable with respect to taste. We will not be returning again.
Food was very good and large variety. Wait was minimal. Desserts could have been better choices. Not impressed with the desserts. We had a table for two and it seemed like we were tucked into any old corner where wait staff needed to be. Flowers on the tables and Easter bunny outside were a nice touch.
We like to take our children and grandchildren to brunch for Easter and Boerner is everyone’s favorite.
Excellent food and service
Brunch was a disappointment compared to our experience 4 years ago
Very good service and food. We were seated almost immediately.
Enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar.
Loved the Easter Brunch! Great Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar! And the food was delicious! Wait staff was very attentive too.
Great buffet for the price. Friendly staff, good drinks and didn't feel overcrowded!! Looking forward to other events here!!
Well organized, with excellent food and service. Definitely recommend this venue and event to others.
The food was cold and not very good. Very limited and odd selection of food. The service was good.
Plain scamable eggs would be better for kids. Add a Kids food bar. Chicken thighs not good. Mash potatoes too
thick. A hot fish not cold salmon.
Very good food!! A little pricey---especially for the kids!! My great granddaughters did not eat near $25.00 worth of food. Most kids under 10 just pick at their food and actually eat very little!! But overall we had a great time and enjoyed it all!!
Father's day brunch was great with choices for the whole family. Quality choices and variety. Mimosas and Bloody Marys were a nice start. Chef made omlets, we're a favorite.
My husband and I used to consider this the best brunch buffet for value in the city—great price, great quality. But they stopped doing it every Sunday and now only do it for special occasions. They’ve raised the price more than 30% (from about $27 a person) and the quality of food has dropped a little. The new quality would have been ok at the old price but at $40 a person it’s definitely not worth it.
Would not recommend this brunch at all. I’ve been to a few and the food is mediocre at best, often barely lukewarm. Cooks here leave a lot to be desired. Prices are outrageous. Will never be returning.
The variety of food was excellent and of high quality. The staff was friendly and attentive. The park setting and location are perfect.
We were there for mother’s d brunch. Food was fantastic but the desert table was not very good. The price was a little high but it was worth it
We had a very nice Mother’s Day brunch.
It was perfect for Mother's Day! The food was delightful and the staff was too. The little desserts that they had was the icing on the cake! Will definitely be back there next year!
First time coming here for Mother’s Day brunch! Such a wonderful selection of delicious food. Not to mention the gardens are beautiful! We will be back for other occasions!
Great food selection! Very organized! Complimentary drink! Affordable! Great service! Fantastic!!!
Nice variety of food. And all of it was good. I’m still full!
Food was average and lukewarm. We had our 7 year old grandson with us who ate merely 4 French toast sticks and some fruit. He had a "to go" cup of chocolate milk. The price for his meal was $28.00!!!! The adult prices were $39.00! Way overpriced for average food. We were seated over an hour after our reservation and the room was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We will definitely NOT be back.
