Bodean Restaurant & Market is centrally located in Tulsa. Bodean opened in 1968 as a small, family-owned fish market, and was the first to use daily air shipments from all over the world. Over the years, Bodean developed a fine-dining restaurant with an award-winning menu and wine list. After enjoying the same location for 40 years, Bodean recently moved to a new location offering a unique and cozy decor that is the work of local talents. Impeccable seafood as always and top-notch seafood and service!! Long crab legs and sea bass are our all time favorites. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and able to answer questions regarding preparation. Will definitely be back. Only suggestion, maybe update the look/decor. It's looked the same way for over the past 15 years. Would love a more modern/cozy look.

We were greeted with “Happy Anniversery”, immediately led to our table, and greeted again at out table. What a delicious meal. Fresh sweet oysters, followed by the greatest scallops I have ever had. My wife started with a memorable shrimp cocktail with 5 plump shrimp, a garden salads, and then a nice succulent 1 pound lobster tail, tender and sweet. We also really enjoyed the homemade bread, and that may be the reason we couldn’t finish our entrees. I thought it odd that they served salted butter with the bread - we would have preferred sweet butter. An excellent meal which I will remember forever!

We reserved a table for 4 guests on Feb 15. It was Chinese new year (we are Chinese), but we went there mainly because my roommate's girlfriend came a long way from California, so we want a fine place for dinner.
I only toke two pictures: the seabass and crab cake. I really love this crab cakes since the sauce is spicy. Recommend! The sea bass is just above average.
I cannot eat a dessert right after the meal, but we got four free cakes in a to go box! And it's good .

Amazing... all I can say. This place scared me to be honest, never been to a restaurant like it and was not sure what to expect. With in 10 min I had no worries left, and as the night went of I just was blown away amazing service from the server and food was great! Paid more on that one meal then I ever thought I would spend but with the service amount and quality I received. I would do it again.

For how early I booked our reservation; I booked for Valentine’s Day at the end of November. We were sat at a small table in the middle of the restaurant. We are both over 6 foot tall, so our legs hit each other when we are sat at such a small table. Most of the booths were empty at this time.

Incomparable in every way. From fresh sourdough with salted butter to fresh oysters to smoked paprika encrusted salmon atop king crab risotto. Sublime, with service to match.

As has been the case every time I have been there the sea food at Bodean's was wonderful. The presentation was lovely and the service was top notch. Dinning at Bodean's is not an inexpensive night out, but I have never left regretting having gone.

We are visiting Tulsa and have eaten here twice. The food is impeccable, so I’ll leave that on hold for a minute. The real standout is the service. We came in for the second time and our previous waiter had told our current waitress what our preferred drink was. It was damned near waiting for us when we sat down. Jimmy and Erin are both great. Their recommendations were solid and attention unequalled. I travel all over the world and can count the number of times I have had service and food of this quality on my fingers. Highly recommended.

Probably the best restraunt for dinner/seafood in Oklahoma. Service was the best of any Tulsa
restraurant period. If we are going out to eat it will be at Boudean's. It's worth waiting for. Quality versus Quantity.

Very nice clean restaurant. Some of the food was ok and good but my main dish the Main Lobster Ratatouille wasn't very good. For a $ 34-36 meal and the lobster is severely over cooked that is bad. This is a seafood restaurant. My wife's Chilean Seabass was good but my dish was very poor.

We love fresh seafood, we were spoiled when we lived in Destin, FL! Considering that Oklahoma is landlocked, the seafood here is about as good as it gets. Very good flounder and swordfish entrees. Salad was crisp and fresh. Raw oysters were tasty and fresh(horseradish was a little weak). They sent home a tasty coffee cake to enjoy for breakfast or midnight snack. Very good, attentive waitstaff without smothering us.

The two you ladies at the check stand and reservation center, next to the lovely salt water aquarium were very cordial and set the evening on a proper note of positiveness. Tammy, our waitress was very accommodating and greeted us with a cheery "Happy Anniversary." The clam chowder was excellent; the cheese plate was extraordinary. The only less than sterling thing was that the salmon ( cooked to perfection) was covered in a very, too salty, sauce. But then some people prefer copies quantities of salt. Over all the experience was delightful and we will be back.

Bodean's always has fresh fish. We try to eat healthy when we eat out and fresh fish is a great choice for us. We love to celebrate our anniversary at Bodeans. The staff is always super friendly. I love the special touch of giving us a menu signed by the chef with our anniversary date on the menu. Also the dessert was fun, creative, and melt in mouth delicious. We will be back again. Thanks for a special evening.

Upscale. Management and staff are well trained and top notch. The entire operation runs like a Swiss watch, food and service are both more than excellent. Ambiance and decor outstanding. All this and yet a pleasant and relaxed environment is provided to the customer. BODEAN has prospered all these decades in Tulsa by providing THE unsurpassed seafood encounter.

I got the Chilean Sea Bass. It was very good. It was presented beautifully. The lobster bisque was delicious. And I would highly recommend that! We also ordered the crabcakes. I heard they were known for them. Possibly because of the high expectations, but I wasn't all that impressed with them. The sauce they came with was very good, but I liked the sauce more than the CC itself. I think it's a nice restaurant, but pricey IMO. We went early, because of a movie afterwards, but we were the ONLY people in the restaurant for at least 30 minutes, so if you are going around 5-5:30 pm, don't worry about making reservations.
