a bit disappointing. The brussel sprouts were actually 1/2 sausage, and very greasy. one of us ordered the crab appetizer and the bocado avocado appetizer, and was not told that they came with exactly the same sides-corn and salad. Boring.

My visit to Bocado Cafe is always pleasant! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food always just right and delicious. My favorite is brunch of steak and eggs which is always just right. It is very nice that we receive a complimentary glass of either a Bellini or Mimosa. The champagne they use is very good. Also often times restaurants serve home fries that are just ok but at Bocado Cafe they are delicious which is not often the case at restaurants! Bocado Cafe is my go to restaurant when getting together with friends for a fun relaxing brunch. I highly recommend Bocado Cafe!

We had a table for 3 at 8 pm and we’re seated immediately. The place was about 1/2 full…not bad for a Thursday night as the holiday weekend was approaching. About halfway through the meal, wait service began to ask if they could clear our plates. It was obvious that we were still eating. Other members of the staff started sweeping the floor around us (and there were still other people being served entree courses). We all felt as if we were being rushed out of the place. The food was fine. Nothing too exciting.

Everyone and Everything about this restaurant is very good! But, pricing is higher than it should be. Add taxes and tip, the total bill is too high. Instead of having dining there 2-3 times per week, I only dine there once per week. That’s the only way I can limit my business expenditures when I am in town. Or, eat and drink less!! I do similar with hotels-I stay less nights, less cab rides, etc. And most ask and calculate tips for customers on the billing! Some include 20-25% tips! And finally, to begin with-everything is so expensive! Overall, cities are penalizing those that visit for business on a regular basis! I am here year-round, even when the tourists are gone for a couple of months right after the holidays, into the new year. I think if you are a business person, providing businesses with business, and can prove it-our costs should be discounted by 20% year round. We pay too many taxes, amenity fees, gratuities, plus very high regular billing costs! As employers, you need to be more creative with keeping your costs in-check…especially with your employees-utilize positive reinforcements-more earned time off-vacations, parent time-off, sick time; timely, earned milestones for raises; educational and/or training incentives; worthwhile gift cards for food-drug store purchases-entertainment, clothing, etc.- investing more, and longer term as you would want back from reliable, longer-term employees! We came here for lunch on Saturday. I ordered steak & egg medium rare, the skirt steak came out perfectly cooked to the rareness as expected, delicious! Other items came out very good as well. No complain at all about their food, service, or ambiance.

The staff was professional and accommodating. The food was quite good. However, the noise level was so bad we had to move outside to one of the sheds and even there the noise from loud, drunken customers (it was only seven in the evening), not to mention the traffic on Lexington Avenue, made it nearly impossible to hear each other. Really too bad, because it's beyond the control of the very good staff. Most likely won't be returning for dinner. Lunch maybe.

The food was great, good ambience. I love the special I think it was the Monkfish. I don’t know anything about wines but my server was really knowledgeable and offered me a specific wine and I really like it. Will be coming back! Thanks for having us!

Pleasant service, extremely loud, mediocre food. Steak and Lamb dish both over cooked. Chicken in my Caesar salad was incredibly dry and tough and the dressing had little flavour

the merguez fettucini sounded like a good idea -- but the "merguez" (usually very spicy) came in the form of bland little meatballs. the cafe prides itself on its wine list but the server clearly knew very little about the wines.

Our food wasn't fancy, but it was very good: calamari well-prepared, tasty bolognese, well-prepared crab cake and burger. All fresh, healthy ingredients. Not a "high-end" spot, but a great location near the MET. We had an early dinner before heading to the train home. Service was very good.

Nice restaurant near the Met. Great for brunch. Many food options. Food was good. I ordered the skirt steak benedict. Benedict eggs were good and potatoes too. Steak was overcooked having asked for medium rare. Very friendly staff. They provided a great service and an enjoyable experience.

Had lunch with a friend after visit to the Met. She had the crab cake burger and I had chicken hallumi sandwich. We both really enjoyed our choices. Service very attentive and we were not rushed. Highly recommend.

Restaurant was pleasantly busy and we enjoyed a great Sunday brunch. A delicious and well prepared cross section of food: eggs Benedict, great Bocado hamburger, and Asian salad. The service was efficient and accomplished with a smile. We weren’t rushed, and we throughly enjoyed the time spent. Will happily return soon.
