BOCA Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Boca for our anniversary. We ordered something from each category so were able to try a lot of dishes. The food was outstanding and prepared with care and attention to detail. The waiter asked us before we ordered if there were any food allergies they should know about which was very thoughtful. Our server was very attentive but not obtrusive, just perfect. We will be back! Thank you!
As always, Boca delivered excellent service and food. The chef came out and talked for several minutes and he was very enthusiastic about the restaurant and his food. We had the duck for two and it was amazing. Perhaps the best single meal we've ever had! Boca remains my top restaurant.
The restaurant is beautifully appointed. Our waiter Jacob was professional yet friendly. He was able to answer all the questions we had about wine and the menu. We had a delicious meal at an appropriate pace, Wish it was closer so we could go on a regular basis.
The pasta with freshly shaved truffles was quite possibly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Ask for Seth to be your server, you will not be disappointed. Seth had wonderful recommendations and he made our experience and our anniversary amazing.
BOCA was absolutely superb as always. We have been here several times and it never disappoints. I always end up ordering half the menu because I can't choose! I recommend the crudo, salmon, tenderloin, or beef Wellington. Expect to pay more than your average restaurant, but it's worth it.
The waitress addressed only me and ignored my partner. He wanted to order different options but the waitress assumed that because I made my preference known that he was not to be consulted. She also suggested things that we order and assumed that we wanted those options without giving us much time to consult one another. Overall she was not a good waitress. I would not go back because of the waitstaff that evening.
It was my husband's BD. I loved the upstairs' decor! Hip, upscale, eclectic, and seating staggered for easier conversation. The service was impeccable, and the Primi excellent (Pommes and Crab/Pasta). The sole entree, which we both ordered, however, was good but not great.
Wonderful service and food. My date and I were in awe of just how beautiful the restaurant was altogether. we truly enjoyed the cocktails and the effort that goes into every aspect of the place. Everyone working there was so helpful and it being our first time there, we really did not know what to order. But Eric went over the entire menu with us and answered all of our questions. The recommendations he gave us were perfect. I would recommend this to everyone and we cannot wait to go back!
Need to list all ingredients per each dish-especially when they are highly prevalent. The sole said nothing about capers and were covered in them. Had I known this I would have never ordered it! In spending a great deal in Charleston, SC we have a greater appreciation for excellent food and have raised our bar. Based on this, don't love Boca like we used to.
We had a wonderful dinner here following a show at the Aronoff. Two of us tried the "Wicked" menu and it was delicious. Our server was incredibly attentive and even arranged for us to walk back to view the kitchen after dinner. Wish I was able to visit here more often!
My husband and I love it here, and wanted to attend prior to seeing Wicked and partake in the Wicked Tasting menu, yet we were skeptical about our kids who we were taking with us. We even fed our 9 year old before she wouldn’t go hungry in case she couldn’t find anything on the menu.
The staff were more than accommodating and so child friendly I couldn’t possibly describe how grateful we were. They truly helped make a special night unbelievable. My 11 year old even ordered salmon!!
And last the food was just fantastic, as it always is. Thank you Boca!
My favorite dish on the menu is Sweet Corn Ravioli, but due to a gluten allergy, I have not been able to enjoy it. I put a request to see if they would be able to make this dish GF and they came through and it tasted just as good as I remembered. Boca is by far my favorite restaurant in the Cincinnati area as they go above and beyond to ensure that every meal is a delight.
We sat at the bar expecting that the service might be better since we were sitting room for the bartender. It was horrible. Always having to change the bartender down for any type of service . I eat out on business 3 to 4 times per week, and this was a very poor experience.
Absolutely knock-out meal. Went for the chicken, couldn't go wrong. Fiance went for the Petrale Sole Grenobloise, pretty good. We also had the grilled romaine, and the beet salad. Both, again, unique and awesome. Dont forget blue oven local bread. Literally only 2 bucks... We also had the Panna as its my favorite still water. The atmosphere was awesome. Very hip, up-to-date, and a unique bathroom array supplied after-dinner laughs. (There's just five doors, individual restrooms. none marked by gender. You just pick one.) Overall, a 4.8 out of 5. Only con was this was a pricey meal for the two of us. Both of us refrained from alcohol for the evening and still managed a $180 bill... Will be back.
